Nyxa
The lithe Colobus wandered on silent feet towards X, clearly holding a generic-looking letter in one long-fingered hand, the other carefully clutching a tightly sealed jar. She smiled at X, holding out the letter for her to take, "Sunny sent me. I'm supposed to give you this."

X had been left in the kitchen by Nathan when the doorbell had rang, insisting on getting it himself so that X wouldn't have to get up, and besides, it was an excuse for him to get away from Devon, who ever since the Sire incident had become rather irritating to the young man. Moments later, the young vampire heard very light footsteps towards her, and assuming Nathan was attempting to sneak up on her, X looked up, but before she could say anything, she realized who it was and blinked. So this was Ruby, Sunny's Boundless.

Nathan came in behind her and grinned slightly, seeing the excitement on X's features.

"Said she had something important for you..."

"Sanura?!" X gasped somewhat, getting a little overexcited for her own good when Ruby held out the letter, which X took very quickly, giving the Colobus a hearty grin before she opened it to read it. Her grin only grew as she scanned quickly over the short note, and it somehow doubled when X heard, and then saw, Ruby set the jar down on the table.

"My fetus!" She exclaimed, not really caring (or noticing) just how wrong it sounded to be overly excited about such a thing, so of course, X immediately took up the test tube and hugged it to her, carefully.

As she went to thank and say 'good-bye' to her deliverer, X was surprised to see that Ruby had gone, and that Nathan was giving her the most peculiar stare at the moment. Bringing his hand to his face, Nathan covered it and shook his head before shooing her out of the room so he could cook. A cranky Devon, who was now laughing beyond control, was much better than a crazy X.

Though dismissed, X could care not, and instead of being angry at Nathan and Devon, she skipped happily out of the kitchen, snuggling the test tube to her and singing, yes singing, merrily. X even threw a few twirls and happy leprechaun skiphops in for good measure. Damn she was happy.

"I've got a fetus, I've got a feeetus... my smechsay feeetus..."

Nathan, now wide eyed, just stared in the direction of X's voice before pointing at it and glaring at Devon.

"I was NEVER that bad and you know it!"

Later, once X had come off her 'fetus high', she brought the test tube into her room, providing a test tube rack for the tube bounded Sanura while she packed. X had decided that until Sanura unfetusized herself, that she would go over and live at the mansion, take the test tube visiting around the islands. While X packed she turned on a bit of music, Reanimation by Linkin' Park, her packing music of choice, which she made sure to dance around to whilst she dragged out her suitcase and plopped it onto the bed.

As she danced across the room she tossed various articles of clothing out of drawers and into her suitcase. She'd organize things better later, now it's fun packing time because she has a fetus.

"And such a lovely fetus you are... Sanura."

X grinned as she cocked her head slightly towards the test tube on the dresser, continuing to move her hips slightly to the beat of the music.

No response. There was a no brainer. X smiled anyways.

Leaning down, she found her bag from today, pulling out a few plushies and whatnot, gifts for Sanura when she grows. She planned on buying her a few things at the market, maybe some native food and a handmade blanket.

"Orrr… maybe a cape.." X thought out loud as she skipped one of the songs to get to a faster, angrier one. "******** yes... good music and fetuses. Today is a good day."

In fact, X was in a rather rare mood, very excited and very sadistic, to the point where she had locked the boys, who seemed to still be on their honeymoon marathon in Slush's room, in 'their' room. That alone wasn't too bad, but then she gave Devon free reign of that room on one condition, if one of Isto's limbs gave out, he was to stop and wait a minimum of an hour after the limb regains motion to 'attack' again.

This is how Devon and X get along and stay on good terms, they call it a 'give and take' relationship, terms set up by X of course. Ghost or not, she was 'undead' too and could take the cold, or Nathan, whichever would get her her way.

After a few more songs X was finally done packing and she zipped up her suitcase in satisfaction, Sunny had said it'd take about a week for the Boundless fetus to be 'born' so X packed accordingly, but made sure to bring money in case she needed to buy new clothes down there. Highly doubtful that there was a washing machine around there and the daywalker didn't want to over-pack.

Over-packing boats always equaled a bad idea.

Something nagged at X's mind, so she rechecked the packing list that she had made, running the tip of her tongue along her fangs lazily in thought. It wasn't moments later before the light went on and she made an obvious noise of realization.

"Ohhh...! Extra money for room decorating-ish... Hmrrah..."

That noise, though not as pleasant sounding, apparently signified the sound of X thinking, and even though it sounded painful, it wasn't because she was smart and could figure things out… Right?

Yes. The answer was yes. X always won and she would win at this. She will conquer HERSELF! There was a pause as X stopped pacing the room, either perplexed at the pettiness of her inner argument or by the idea of decorating a room without making it sextastic.

Probably a bit of both actually, and moments later, X growled in response to her mind before sighing and coming to a lazy, but rather good, conclusion, speaking it out to herself (or the fetus).

"I'll just buy stuff there and improvise... what the hell."

X sounded rather smug and triumphant, considering she only 'conquered' herself and she took the lazy route out, blaming on the overexcitement that happened, and was apparently still happening, today. Yes that was it, X was so excited that she didn't know how to handle herself, much less think.

With that hearty conclusion, X picked up her suitcase with ease, puffed up her chest somewhat (only the gods knew why), and then walked out of the room with confidence. She had given Nathan control of the house, directions on feeding the various pets, and the contact information at the Boundless mansion; he knew house rules so she didn't need that. Also, X had said goodbye to everyone earlier, since she didn't know when she'd be leaving, so she headed straight outside for the car, grabbing a jacket on the way.

"Wait a minute..."

The daywalker sat in the driver's seat of the car for a moment as she retracted her hand from the gear stick and blinked. She had forgotten something, she knew it, and when it clicked her eyes grew wide and she tore out of the car towards the house.

"Bloody hell I need to duct tape Sanura to me..." Twas a joke of course, but…duct tape did solve all.

X shook her head and before she knew it was in her room again, and she was sure the fetus was taunting her, so she shook her finger at it before scooping it up and snugging it to her.

"I know what you're up to! You evil fetus you… Aw forget about it..."

She was going to say more but decided that talking to a fetus wasn't exactly the cure to her…whatever that was currently plaguing her, and since she was lazy, X teleported herself and the test tube to the car. Black smoke enveloped her body and then disappeared, reappearing in the driver's seat of the car, and after safely securing Sanura in the cup holder, X backed out of the driveway and headed towards the docks.

Time to raise hell with a fetus. Yehaw!

The First Visit
X had finally gotten to the island and found a suitable 'parking place' to situate the boat, which after she carefully unloaded her, and Sanura's, things out of, she yanked the boat high on shore with ease. Yep, X enjoyed the perks of being a vampire, a daywalker no less.

After making sure that the test tube was safe and dandy, and the boat was tied tightly to a large mangrove tree, X checked a map and headed towards the mansion.

"Bloody walking..." X was wishing for a car, a bike, or something to make the trip go faster. It was getting darker and though X had extremely good night vision, risking a fight of any sort would mean risking poor Sanura, and that just wouldn't be too happy now would it?

An hours walk later, a large estate came into view and X smiled, duelly noting the door and lazily teleporting to the doorstep before brushing herself off and knocking the antique knocker.

"Reminds me of home..." She murmered to herself as she waited for an answer.

Usually at this time of day, Ruby would be securely holed up in her own home in the depths of the heavily forested woods. This particular evening she was at The Estate, as she called it, rummaging through the kitchen for carrots, of all things. During Sunny's last trip back to the mainland, she'd brought Ruby home Sea Monkeys. "Ahh, that Sunny and her horrible jokes."

Ruby's ear perked as she heard a sound, almost like some one was knocking on the door. Expressive brow furrowed in a slight frown, "..wonder who that could be," and she promptly padded to the front door. Clearing her throat and taking a deep breath, she squeaked open the door and peered out into the waning light. She recognized X from their brief meeting earlier.

"Ahh, X. Sunny will be glad to see you've come home."

"Come home...?" X murmered quietly to herself before responding in a more audiable tone, "That's me... Came to stay until Sanura grows, maybe a bit longer..."

This wasn't 'home' for her, maybe it would grow to be a secondary one in due time, but she had never even been here, much less gotten to know it and it's secrets. Hell, her fetus was still as floaty as ever, so none of those secrets had been answered yet.

The daywalker furrowed her brow somewhat, not enough to be offensive, only enough to make it seem as if she were squinting, or had something in her eye. Either excuse would work find.

"Tis a lovely estate... grounds are quite lovely, and there are less mosquitos here... always a plus, bloodsucking bastards..."

She chuckled to herself softly when she noticed the irony of her statement and of her own personal situation, and she mentally tried to justify it.

'Well at least I don't buzz... and give people diseases that they die from!' It didn't take long for X to give a frustrated sigh as she realized how bad her 'reasons' were. 'Oh wait, nevermind... ah just ******** it...'

Didn't change the fact that she hated mosquitos.

Ruby shook her head at X, wide lips parting in a beatific grin. She ushered X in, grasping the new Guardian's luggage in capable hands and setting them inside the door. She started to chuckle as she heard X talking to.. no one in particular? though she did catch one phrase.

"Yes, there aren't many mosquitos here for some unknown reason. Whatever it is, I know we're all thankful for it."

Ruby turned to look at X, noting that she held the Boundless named Sanura securely in her arms. A small, more private smile crossed her lips.

"Would you like some refreshments? The hour is late, perhaps you'd like to be shown to your room?"

She choked on a chuckle. X was an interesting creature, that was certain.

"No mosquitos are a good thing any day..." She trailed off and muttered to herself, throwing out a inaudiable comment about the 'b*****d insects' before smiling to the older Boundless.

Her purple eyes flickered slightly as she saw Ruby hiding a laugh that seemed to have been directed at her. This caused X to laugh slightly herself, partially to show Ruby that it was indeed okay to laugh at her. No offense would be taken from jesting.

"Aye, I ate earlier... before I came. He was a go-- Lets just say I'm full," X decided it best to attempt to change the subject, not really wanting to explain what the hell she was to the sweet girl in front of her. Better keep that for later, if ever.

"So room would be nice, though I can take the bag... tisn't a burden."

'I'm not bloody weak...' Her mind seemed to grumble on its own, but she shooed that all aside and gave the monkey a cheeky grin as she swept the suitcase into her left hand with ease. Sanura was tucked safely in her right arm.

'Must protect the feeeetus.'

Ruby laughed heartily, shrugging as X took the luggage. She headed towards the staircases that ran from the first floor to a large veranda on the second.

"We're keeping the Guardians and the new Boundless on the second story. The first floor can get slightly noisy throughout the day and even into the late evening. Your room is off to the left, third door on the right. The first door is the bathroom." She grinned over her shoulder as she topped the stairs, pointing at the door as she walked past it.

Reaching for the handle of X's room, she gave a sharp twist and the door skulked open. "Sunny just cleaned up in here earlier today, said she had a feeling you'd be arriving. Clean sheets for you, a robe and set of towels. There is a basket in the closet with soaps and shampoos in it, and a pair of house slippers." She smiled sheepishly. "Sunny's really excited to have people in the house."

Shrugging, Ruby slipped past X and hesitated in the doorway. "I expect you'll find everything you need in here. If not, just let either Q or myself know." She grinned impishly. "You'll recognize Q. He's the only other Boundless besides myself walking around the estate. And if that's all you'll need, I'll let you unpack and get yourself situated."

X followed the quick pace which Ruby seemed to take gracefully, and though X wasn't as graceful (though Zanna would be), the young woman kept up easily.

Paying attention to what Ruby said, taking note of the main things, the more important items, or rather what X deemed to be important. A quick grin slipped along her lips as she took a gander at the inside of her and Sanura's room before responding to a statement Ruby had just made.

"Yes... it does tend to get lonely in large mansions such as this... could drive you mad under the right circumstances..."

Excited, well that was good. As long as she wasn't going to be part of a crazy lab experiment, X was gravy. In fact, this place was absolutely amazing and she'd have to do some exploring as soon as possible.

Here ear and eyebrow perked at the mention of another single, odd-lettered named individual, Q apparently. She'd have to meet this one because like X, Q was a damn cool letter.

"Thank you very much Ruby... I'll see you around..."

Ruby nodded, chuckling as she took her leave.

"Best wishes for a good nights sleep, X." She offered a small wave as she closed the door behind her.

A most interesting human.

Though X heard voices downstairs, both distinctly male, but she decided to head inside her room and unpack a bit; she was never one to enjoy living out of a suitcase. Leaving her door open she carefully set the test tube in the rack she had brought with her for safekeeping, moving it then to a save counter for now.

She quickly unpacked and got herself situated, which meant stripping down to her bare necessities and whathaveyou before X moved quietly to the door, shutting it and locking it. It was an odd order of actions, but not to X, who was never quiet shy about her body, since her time in the slave trade.

Yawning, X turned the lights off and then quickly slipped under the covers, falling asleep almost instantly.

The sun had long risen and settled into the sky when X finally stirred from her slumber, one eye cautiously peering open before the other followed suit. Yawning, she stayed in bed a bit longer before she made her way over to the shower, grabbing a towel and the soaps, curious to try them out (and because they were the easiest within reach.)

In the shower, X took her time, allowing a few of her knots to work themselves out with the heat. She didn't sing, gods knew that she was a horrid singer, and X didn't want to taint her loverly shower with her horrible singing, twasn't right. Besides, X would only sing to music, and only when said music was lound enough so that it could disguise, or even better, completely cover up her voice.

Yep, nothing like belting out lyrics to music so loud you can't hear yourself think, bloody fun as hell.

Finally stepping out of the shower, the daywalker dried herself off with the towel somewhat before she wrapped it smoothly around her slim frame and trodded herself out of the bathroom, moving into her room again.

"Maybe I shoud meet the men I hear last night... since you know..." X peered over at the fetus as she dressed, giving it a playful glare before continuing, "...Fetuses apparently aren't very talkative."

She shook her head and chuckled as she pilfered through the dresser for clothes, tugging out 'comfortable' clothes. A leather mini, the proper under-attire, and a button-up, long sleeved 'dress-shirt', all of which were black save the mini, which was a deep purple that matched her eyes. Not wanting to wear stockings for the day, X pulled on knee high socks and her much loved knee high black combat boots.

"Yes, I do believe that your mother," She made a dramatic hand motion, spun around, and smirked before continuing on, "...is very much smokin' right now."

Satisfied with herself after she blew dry her hair and gave it a once through with her brush, X made a 'necklace' out of Sanura, putting it on around her neck and then heading out her door, very much hoping to run into someone else in the vast mansion.

But first mission: Eat lots of food.

Quote:
Mm, coffee.

If there's one thing in this world that can cure-all, Sunny thought to herself, it's coffee.

Sunny sat at the island in the kitchen, coffee carafe held securely in one hand, steaming cup of hot, black coffee grasped in the other. She'd been up all night in the lab, preparing for a special newcomer to the Boundless family.. a stegosaurus. A jaw-cracking yawn parted her lips which she promply soothed with a hefty gulp of the rich liquid. She'd been told by Ruby and Q that X and Zael had both arrived at the Estate, and she was looking forward to meeting them both.

X had already showered and dressed, though not in much, it just wasn't her style unless it was freezing, and luckily these islands were much warmer than Gaia. Her boots made a definate sound with each stride she made, her skirt creeping up somewhat as she walked. X didn't mind though, she'd give it a light tug of adjustment whenever she stopped walking, no point in fixing a 'problem' when it just occur again.

The test tube was fastened to a necklace and was currently being warn as such (since she had no available pockets), and the glass rested neatly in the crevace of her chest. It was her attempts at keeping Sanura 'warm' and able to 'see' her surroundings, her black shirt being unbuttoned enough to all Sanura to 'see', and well because X was damned comfortable like that too.

She spotted a young woman in the kitchen as she slipped quietly through the door.

Sunny's back was to the door, and though she didn't see who entered the kitchen, she could definetly hear the audible sound of what had to be boots hitting the old wooden floor of the house. Before she turned, she knew it had to be either X or Zael.

She swiveled on the barstool, turning to greet the newcomer. The first thing her eyes caught was the test tube containing the Boundless Sanura.

"Ahh, you must be X. I'm so glad that you came." Sunny smiled warmly, moving to stand before X. She offered her hand for a friendly handshake, "Would you like some breakfast? We've got cold and hot cereal, toast, fruit, you name it. How did you sleep last night? How is Sanura?" She snapped her mouth shut, visibly embarassed at her many questions, sheepishly adding, "It's been a while since I've had company staying in the house. Q comes and goes, and Ruby just.. is Ruby."

Niiiice, Sunny. You're going to scare her back to the mainland with your big mouth running all over the place.

X blinked somewhat as the flurry of questions bombarded her, man this woman was excited and X was calm. Hah, X was winning, even though it wasn't a game, but nevermind that. And nevermind her overenthusiastic outburst that she had yesterday, Sunny didn't have to know... Nobody had to know.

Her eyebrow raised, partly at herself and the rest cause of Sunny's questions, but X just chuckled all friendly like and took her hand, gripping it firmly in handshake, though she did have to remind herself to watch the pressure. No need to crush anyone's hands as of yet.

"Pleasure." She spoke briefly before contimplating breakfast and the woman's line of questions. A few moments later, she grinned and answered, trying to answer them all as brief as possible because it was more fun that way. "Eggos if possible. Like a rock. Fetusy as ever."

X gave Sunny a cheeky grin to show her that she wasn't trying to be a b***h, just amusing herself.

Sunny laughed, grinning sheepishly. "Eggos coming right up." As she moved to the fridge, she motioned for X to have a seat near the one she'd recently vacated. Rummaging around in the freezer, she took out the box and removed four, figuring that if X didn't eat them all, Q would finish up what wasn't finished.

Slipping them within the toaster, she leaned against the countertop and looked at X again. "Have you met any other new Guardians yet? Zael arrived last night shortly after you did." She moved back to the fridge and brought out a pitcher of OJ and a gallon of milk, setting them on the island along with a few glasses. "I'm very excited, and looking forward to meeting all of the others, myself." She retrieved the butter and a knife, along with silverware from a drawer. "This is going to be the most awesome experience, I swear."

The eggos popped up from their hiding place in the toaster, and Sunny retrieved them, setting them on a plate. She made one last stop for syrup and jam (just in case X wasn't a syrup fan) and set everything in front of X before taking her own seat.

Zael meandered down to the main hall, dressed, and [it looked] ready for a fight in cut-off jeans, a camo jean-jacket, and a spiked collar. He certainly wasn't the very model of a Guardian. He also was quite wide awake, and more than a little "perky" - Perhaps he had something akin to coffee in his pack...

"Thanks."

X sat where she was motioned to, settling herself in it as comfortable as possible before she leaned forward and tugged the milk jug and a glass to her. It was when she was pouring her glass of milk did she get a random idea in her head, her eyes staring down at Sanura as she finished pouring the milk, setting it back into place.

She continued to stare as Sunny asked her the questions, but her attention was quickly snapped back when she heard a Z-name mentioned. Wait not Zanna, but she smiled anyways.

"Nah, I only met Ruby... and yeah, should be fun... this place seems like a good place to escape to, I'll be visiting a lot."

Grinning slightly, X reached out, brought the glass to her lips, and finally took a sip of the cool liquid, it'll do for now. Asking for blood probably would have scared the bajeezus out of Sunny, not something she wanted to do quite yet.

"Ah, I've got a question... how exactly do these things grow from a test tube...? And is there anything we can do to take care of them now...?"

Yes X was curious, and she DEFINATELY didn't want a baby saber to explode out of her cleavage.

Sunny chuckled good-naturedly, "In all honesty, X, I really can't say how they emerge from their test tubes. Never seen it happen before." She shrugged, seating herself on the opposite side of the island from X. "Ruby and Q were here when I arrived, and this batch is the first one I've created on my own." She straightened her glasses, motioning widely with a hand. "I don't imagine they explode out of the glass, but now that you mention it, I have to admit it's a great question. She frowned to herself, trying to recall if she'd seen anything pertaining to the current topic in the mess of papers left behind by her uncle. "If I remember correctly, they generally erupt at night. At least that's what it said in my uncle's notes. And lemme tell you, he didn't keep good notes, not at all."

She poured herself a glass of juice and began sipping at it thoughtfully. "As for anything you can do for the fetus now.. Of course there is. The way you treat it in the fetal stage will help form their next stage. For example, if you expose to them now certain types of music, they might like to listen to that same music as they grow older. Same thing goes for reading books to them and talking to them." She chuckled, "I think that's why Ruby can be so standoffish and exile herself for long periods of time. My uncle didn't know that you have to show these Boundless attention even while they're encapsulated in their jars."

The daywalker made a mental note to keep the test tube away from her sleeping form each night, glass in her eye didn't seem like a fun occurance.

"I'll keep that all in mind... thank you."

Her ear twitched slightly as she heard footsteps somewhere in the hallway, but she just shrugged it off. If whoever it was wanted to come visit, then they would. Either way she was getting fed and having a conversation with a human, not just a fetus in a jar.

Leaning back, X awaited her Eggos, her tongue lazily playing with the inside of her labret piercing, wiggling it a bit before she began to chew on it.

Then she felt a sudden breeze. 'Whoopsies..' X thought silently to herself as she reached under the island and tugged down her skirt, which she had forgotten to adjust before sitting down.

'Might as well cross em... be proper and whatnot...'

The woman sighed softly and carefully crossed her legs, checking for exposed flesh before settling down and eyeing Sunny once more.

"I'm guessing TV and movies would have the same affect...?"

Zael walked into the kitchen with his fetus and its jar carefully in tow, and wrapped for warmth. He WAS a bit peckish - and he really didn't have anything else to do. He'd been listening to "sk8ter" music [Linkin Park and the like] up in his room a few hours earlier.

Sunny nodded to X's question, retrieving her eggos and the like and setting the foodstuffs before X. "Aye. Music, nature, all the elements that we as humans enjoy, our Boundless enjoy, as well." She chuckled, thinking of Q and his propensity to be a jokester. "You'll notice the difference between all the Boundless as they begin to grow. They'll all take on different personalities and whatnot."

She caught of glimpse of another person entering the kitchen. A smile lit her face, "Ahh! You must be Zael! Q tells me you've decided on Arram for your newcome fetus." She motioned for him to sit down, "This is X, another Guardian. Can I get you some breakfast? Were the accomodations welcoming enough?" She chuckled to herself, "I'll get you settled, then I need to get back to the lab. Much to do in preparations. You'll both have free reign of the estate, and the island for that matter. It's a four day walk to Adhimu, and it can be a treacherous walk, let me warn you. We do, however, have a fully stocked bar in the library, a gaming room, and of course, our beaches. The lagoon is about a 3 or 4 hour hike from here, and it's perfect for swimming, though if you guys are looking for something closer, the beaches here are perfect for that, as well." She paused, grinning at the two of them. "Now, Zael. Can I get you anything before I leave?"

X nodded towards the man, her eyes giving him a quick, appreciative once over before she returned them to Sunny's.

"Aye, sounds good... and thanks again for the food and lodge."

She picked up an eggo, folded it in half, and then took a bite out of the middle, chewing and swallowing before speaking a few more words.

"And for the glorious fetuses."

Her eyes sparkled as she dug into the waffles, taking gulps of milk when needed, she was never one to eat 'daintily' so when she was hungry, she ate.

'Pecking at food is for the bloody birds...' She always said to herself, and now wasn't any different.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Neith wandered into the room, clutching to the jar tightly and trying to keep it from beign jerked around too much. She was hungry, darn it, and she wasn't going to leave Kiah behind. Of course, Neith was stressing over the poor fetus's health... but she relaxed the second she entered the ktichen and saw some others with jars.

So it wasn't too terrible a thing to not want to be parted with the baby. Good. Neith wasn't going crazy.

She waved to X, reconising her straight away. Neith set the jar down on the middle of the table, well away from any dangerous edges, and peered around. "This is the kitchen?"

X nodded and then responded through a mouthful of waffle, only have a few bites left to finish.

"Aye... help yourself, you just missed Sunny though..."

She grinned and leaned back lazily in the bar stool, the back of it much shorter than usual. Suddenly she recognized who this woman was, and her grin widened.

"Neith? I left Zanna at home this time... with Nathan, who I'm afraid is a bit loopy after meeting Sire..."

"Waffle!" Neith squeaked, and hurried over to make herself one. In a house as large as hers, she'd rarely made it to the waffles in time...

This was SO GOOD.

"Oh, that's ok. Aurora is with Kia, and... why is Nathan loopy after meeting Sire? Fa'e Sire, right? What happened there?" Neith asked, as she peered around for other food that was also extinct in her own home.

This truely was a place where the extinct came to life.

"Yeah... he wouldn't tell me what happen, but he was checking Sire out the whole time, he's bi you know... maybe something happened?"

X shrugged and chuckled at the waffle hunt Neith seemed to be going on, picking up her plate and taking it to the sink, X washed it off and set it in the dishwasher.

"There's milk, OJ, and glasses on the island... And how long have you been here, it's a nice place..."

"Oh... Love! I like love." Neith commented, as she plopped down at the table. Her mind was swirling with waffle love, so Neith wasn't thinking too seriously. "I've been here for a day, I had to do a lot in Kiah's room. It was so bare and ... well, bare. But it's more like home now. Oh! Meet Kiah."

Neith guestured to the floating fetus, and then went back to her food.

Vash strode in confidently, test tube hanging rakishly out've a back pocket. "Hi everyone!" he chirped, a huge grin splitting his face as a strand of hair fell flirtatiously over one eye.

X saw the man walk in and gave him an appreciative once over before yawning and leaning back casually against the counter. Her clothes shifted and exposed a bit more, not to be flirty persay, but because it's what happened damnit and X could care less if she were standing there naked.

Though that did remind her, and she made a quick readust on her skirt, tugging it down a bit.

"Lo there."

"From what I understand, they're free to love anyone. They just become mortal straight away if they have a baby with a non-fa'e." Neith answered through her food. She would have answered to X's verbal challange, but for a few reasons. Firstly, the food was good, and there were some other people...

Neith waved to Ruby, not really knowing who the other was. One of those that Kiah was, she assumed. And the other, was Vash. Neith knew Vash. So she stood up, wandered over and hugged him hello. "Hi! ...You have a fetus as well?"

Vash walked over to by X, eyes glowing gleefully as he caught her...appreciation. "'lo yourself" he said, his voice slightly husky, and almost a purr as he returned her attention.

X eyed the man, noting the husky voice but just raising an eyebrow in response. Like a husky voice alone was going to make her want a complete stranger. Hah! She fully believed that should could have any straight man she wanted, single or not, but damned Monkey.

She continued to internally stew until he walked away, and at that movement she leaned forward and scooped up her fetus-necklace, putting it back on again. Sanura was now nestled safely between X's rather generous cleavage, again it was for warmth and less jostling around.

Inle clomped noisily down the stairs shortly thereafter, minus the large duffel bag. In place of the pirate's hat was a rainbow-colored ski cap, complete with a white fluffy ball adorning its peak. It was pulled down to about the middle of her forehead, forcing her multi-colored bangs over her eyes and hiding her amply-pierced ears. The cap stood straight up, as if something was preventing it from falling naturally.

She wandered into the kitchen, making a beeline for the coffeepot.

X eyed the sound of clomping lazily, satisfied to just lean back against the counter and watch the action, but to not be entirely rude, X raised her hand and spoke.

"Hey, I'm X..."

She toyed with the back of her labret piercing, moving her elbows back to add to her support, blowing her naturally black and deep purple out of her face with a light puff.

She heard the woman behind her, but would not be deterred from her task, nosir! She reached into a cabinet for a large mug, pouring herself a cup before reaching for the sugar bowl. Not one to bother with such things as spoons, she merely started pouring what looked to be a ridiculous amount of sugar into the steaming cup. Only then did she pick up a spoon, using it to stir the sugar-high-in-a-cup before taking a tentative sip. She swallowed the mouthful, sighing delightedly. She then placed the cup down, eyes peeking out from a fringe of hair as she smiled at the woman in front of her. "Hi. I'm Inle."

X raised an eyebrow as she watched the girl litterly dump the sugar into the mug, surprised that she hadn't just made coffee syrup. Still she didn't really say anything, she had learned from Aylee that lots of sugar was not usual a good thing to combat, or even talk to sometimes.

Instead she nodded and wondered where the men were, the one from earlier had left and now she was a bit bored.

Tentatively, Sarabi ventured down the stairs once more, this time with her jar in tow. She hadn't named the unborn fetus yet, as it seemed silly to call a genderless, featureless, worm-in-a-bottle by any sort of name. She'd noticed the other people with their fetuses earlier though, and wondered if it was a new rule. She had no desire to be kicked out over a trivial thing like that, so the fetus now swung precariously from inside one of her spare socks, which she clutched in one hand.

She walked into the kitchen, noting the other two there, and unable to refrain from a quick once-over on X's part. She'd always had a weak spot for goths, male and female alike. Snapping out of her reverie, she nodded quietly to the pair of them, and introduced herself.

"Hey, I'm Sarabi." Hardly eloquent, but it suited her purposes all the same.

X wasn't goth persay, just like to wear a lot of black and purple, mostly black though, and since she was a masochist and a bit of a sadist, she also enjoyed piercings and tattoos, having several of each. The daywalker nodded lightly to Sarabi, smirking slightly when she caught the once over, allowing her tongue to trail lightly along her lower lip before responding softly.

"The name's X... pleasure."

Inle nodded to the newcomer before turning her attention to the plate of probably-cold waffles sitting in the middle of the kitchen's island. She grabbed one, rolled it up, and dunked the end in her coffee before taking a bite. Veiled eyes glanced around the room as she ate her makeshift breakfast.

X was an odd name, but Sarabi wasn't about to comment on it. Too lazy at the moment. She herself wasn't hungry, having eaten from her stash of junk food earlier. Stick-thin, she knew she didn't need to worry about what she ate. Instead, she'd started wondering if the fetus was hungry, and had decided to try feeding it.

She set the jar on the counter with a loud clunk, and removed the stretched-out sock covering it. Experimentally she tugged at the top covering, wondering if it was safe to remove. "Hey, do you think it would hurt anything if I took this off?" She queried the other two, still holding an edge of the material.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you..."

X peered at the thinner girl who had taken her fetus out of a sock, poor thing. Not really knowing what was going on, the daywalker looked from the cold-waffle dunker to the sock fetus girl, chewing lightly on her lip.

"Sunny didn't say anything good about removing that top...."

Granted she hadn't said anything good about doing it, or anything about it at all, but that wasn't the point. Safest bet was to not touch or open the test tube. The idea was just screaming 'Oh dear gods I'm a bad idea... please don't do me!!!'

Yep, that just about summed up how that idea was feeling.

Inle frowned, free hand placing itself almost protectively atop her head, though it didn't quite make it there due to the jar beneath her hat. She looked from her waffle towards the jar on the table, shrugging. "I don't think the jelly bean would be too happy about that..."

Just to be on the safe side, she stuffed the rest of the waffle into her mouth, as if to avoid the temptation of doing it herself.

Unconvinced, Sarabi retained her hold, pondering what to do. On one hand, if the other two weren't worried about their fetuses starving, why should she? On the other, she'd knew that trusting other people to do your thinking was rarely a good idea. Decisions. The material looked breathable, so maybe she could stick something powdery or liquid in there. This immediately turned her thoughts both to the more-or-less alcoholic beverages she'd brought along, and the illegal drugs she'd likely be able to obtain in an isolated place like this.

Neither sounded good for a fetus though. Hmm. "What if I just lifted up a corner?" She muttered mostly to herself, doing just that. With the opening secured, she quickly grabbed a few crumbs from Inle's plate, and dropped them into the jar. She then immediately refastened it, and sat, waiting for something interesting (or just something) to happen.

The crumbs floated in the vicious liquid for a good few minutes, before slowly sinking to the bottom. "Ooh, I think it twitched," Sarabi commented, staring intently at the unmoving brown fetus.

X dawned an creepy 'Louisiana voodoo voice', a gravely scary witch voice, pointing at the fetus with a crooked finger.

"YOU'RE GONNA DIIIIIE..."

And after that X coughed lightly, unscrunched her face, and relaxed back against the counter as if nothing had happened, her lazy look returning as well.

Inle looked at X curiously for a moment before bending, making herself eye-level with the jar. She tapped on it, a purple-hued nail clinking on the glass. "I don't think it moved...wow, what if it really was dead? That would suck all kinds of a**. And you'd be a baby-killer!" She nodded seriously, eyes wide with conviction.

"Feh, it never moved before anyway. Did yours ever?" She asked defensively, rapping the glass a little harder than she'd meant to, which sent the organism within to swaying gently. "Gross," she commented in a voice she could've used to describe the weather. She didn't dare look at X after the other's rather creepy outburst, and made a mental note that there was still a distinct possibility that her relations had finally decided to rid themselves of her by banishing her to an isolated island of crazies.

She still hadn't met anyone normal. A busty, gothy girl who was sexy, but undoubtedly mentally unstable, and another who seemed a tad out-of-touch with reality, but otherwise nice. Oh well, this was just another example of how things really did balance out in the end. Hopefully neither of them were dangerous.

"Of course it has!" she said defensively, straightening. She thought about that for a moment before bending once more. "Actually, it hasn't...but it will eventually! I bet. Probably."

She continued her idle tappings, glancing at the sunken waffle crumbs. "I wonder if it'll turn into some kind of fetus/pastry hybrid now. Like a waffle monster! Yeah, that'd be cool! We could wait for it to grow up completely, and then kill it for its waffly goodness! I don't know where we'd find enough syrup though," she babbled.

Vash was looking a little puzzled at the entire series of events, and simply shrugged, grabbing a nearby chair and pulling it over to the table he'd set Ryo upon, laying his chin on top of his hands and staring at the small, floating creature. Flicking a piece of hair out of his eyes, he sighed, nose pressed up against the glass. "Wonder what you'll be like..." he murmured, still fighting the urge to CHEW on the test tube.

"No offense, but I'd really rather we killed someone else's waffle-monster. Y'know, in case I actually get attached to this thing in the future," said Sarabi, scowling ever so slightly. She liked Inle's imagination, but her talk of slaughtering the thing that Sarabi had traveled miles to take care of upset her. Slightly. Oh well, if worst came to worst, she supposed she'd rather it was the waffle-monster that was offed, rather than herself, she decided gloomily.

X just grinned, this was absolutely wonderful, she seemed to have scared the two, or maybe just the one, but still, this made X a winner. Of something. Bah, she wished a guy were here so that we could tease him, crazy women poking fetus test tubes didn't exactly excite her, nor free her from boredom.

"Why would you want to eat your child again?"

She raised her eyebrow at some of the girls comments before pushing herself away from the counter and moving to the nearest stool, plopping down on it with a sigh.

"So are you two staying here permenantly?"

Vash twitched. Eat..child... the thought tormented him, not cause he was hungry, but cause he chewed on stuff...call it part of his charm. Looking over his shoulder at the pair, he blinked. "Who mentioned eating?" he said with an impish grin. "I'm game."

Following her nose with the scent of coffee and other foody aromas tickling her senses, Angie weaved through different rooms, abruptly stopping as she hit the kitchen and the activity bustling within. A shocked look froze on her face, she hadn't expected quite this many people in one area at a time. She timidly kept quiet, scootching over towards an uninhabited area to lean against a counter, curling her tail about her leg, her ears lowering slightly against her head. But she took the time to glance over each person within the room, as if mentally memorizing them and filing them away to remember them in the future. She'd put names to the faces later...

However, large groups of people just weren't Angie's forte...she felt uncomfortable. A bookworm sort, though she didn't look it. She was short, comfortably dressed, a backpack upon her back. An observant person would notice how gently she put her pack atop the counter, as if something very fragile was in it. There was no sign of her test tube, however that didn't mean it wasn't with her. In fact, it was wrapped safely in a sweatshirt, coiled up in her pack, resting so that it wouldn't spill over, nor would it get jolted too much and upset the living creature inside.

"Uhh...hi?" was about all she could manage...figuring it best to actually -say- something instead of standing, gawking and looking rather foolish.

She tapped her chin in thought, a pensive look entering her veiled eyes. "...I suppose you're right. But it's a big island, there's gotta be other tastyish monsters to eat!"

She turned to X. "I don't want to eat her baby. Not now, anyway. We don't even know if it's gonna turn into a waffle monster yet, and it's not big enough for everyone to share in any case. Except that isn't the case, cause it's HER baby, and SHE should be the one to divvy it up!"

All of this made perfect sense to her, on some level. Somehow.

Vash whirled, a mischievious, secretive grin playing at the corners of his mouth as he appraised the newcomer, eyes warming as he noticed her...tail. Purring soft enough that no one could hear, he got up and approached her slowly, like a lion stalking his prey. "I'm Vashtya...and I don't believe we've met..." he said smoothly.

X raised her eyebrow up at the male voice that had suddenly appeared once more, though the charm had suddenly disappeared.

"Oh does the charm only come out when you're trying to get something you can't have..?

Her tone was seductive and teasing, more the latter though, her eyes gleaming with amusement as she crossed one leg over the other lazily. Laughing to herself as she saw him move to the newer, quieter looking woman who just entered, X just threw up a wave and a sweet smile as a greeting.

And she decided to ignore the baby eating comments, in fact she hoped her baby would eat her first. That'd solve things.

Too many people. Abruptly, Sarabi stood, reinserting the fetus-jar into the sock. Without another word or glance, she left the room, heading quietly back to her room. Paranoid, she glanced over her shoulder many times, until the door to her quarters was safely shut and locked.

Angie blinked, surprised at being approached. She was ill-prepared for conversation, and so stuttered slightly as she tried to answer. "I-....M-mm-my name is Angie." Her voice was soft, but she knew that wasn't acceptable, and so cleared her throat, urging herself to stop being so blasted shy around groups of people. "I uh assume you're also a caretaker of a test tube?" Pointing to her backpack, she quickly unzipped it to reveal her treasure, a rather brown and tan looking creature floating inside. She murred happily as she gently stroked the glass. "I look forward to seeing what this one will look like when it grows."

Vash chuckled, looking slyly over his shoulder and throwing X a playful grin, paired with a lascivious wink. "Oh...I've never yet found there to be anything that I can't have...if I want it badly enough..." he said, lowering his voice to the same purr he'd used on her earlier, although he continued moving towards the shy, quiet woman.

Vash drew to a smooth halt about a foot away from Angie. "Pleasure to meet you." he said, eyes softening slightly. "And I most certainly am...mine's sitting over there on the table, because I can't seem to stop thinking that the test tube looks so...chewable." he stated, eyes twinkling with mirth. "so, for both the fetus and my own safety, I'm keeping my distance for now." he finished, eyes focusing on the way she stroked the glass. Clearing his throat, he shifted slightly, trying to get her attention. "So, are you hungry? 'Cause I think I saw some pie in the fridge..." he said, his voice smooth as velvet.

Inle frowned, waving a good-bye at the woman's retreating form before carefully boosting herself onto the mostly-empty island, seating herself on the edge of it. She grabbed her forgotten cup of sugared sludge, idly attempting to sip at it as she watched the two newcomers. Her boots thudded against the side of the island as she swung her feet.

Oh he reminded her of herself, only he wasn't in truth, because she was one thing he couldn't get, and she would probably be proving that to him.

"Oh not everything love... you couldn't get me no matter how hard you try... I'll bet money on it. Besides, if anyone were to successfully seduce anyone... It'd be me, I promise you..."

Sure X was smug, but she had damn good reason to be, since manipulating men to her will, and sometimes women, was her specialty. It was her life too, and she damn well enjoyed it.

"Are we clear?" Her voice purred as well, but in an almost dismissive manner, her eyes sparkling with amusement still.

Flicking his hair idly out from in front of one sparkling eye the color of quicksilver, Vash arched one perfectly-shaped brow. "Love, I doubt that it'll ever be an issue...but you can bet that I'd never deny you the chance to prove that you could seduce ME..." he said, eyes expressing utter innocence. Waiting a few seconds for his meaning to sink in, he turned back to angie, purring low in his throat again. "Now...where were we?"

Angie blinked rather confusedly. "Chewable?" She pondered what exactly he meant by that. A velvety ear twitched at the mention of pie though. "What kind?" Her curiousness was going to get the better of her. "And why do you say for the fetus's safety and your own?" The fox-girl quirked her head strangely. She was rather confused, but also not completely there. Turning her attention back to the test tube, she gently turned it around, gazing at the little life within. Softly, as if she didn't remember anyone being there besides her, she whispered soft words to it, nothing in particular, just words.

Not one to be ignored, Vash leaned closer, placing his lips mere inches from her ear. "Why, I say the fetus' safety AND my own because, if I were to get carried away in my...chewing, I might break the glass--injuring my mouth AND the young'un...." he said, a little perturbed by the single-mindedness of her focus on the fetus she clutched in her hand. "And it was cherry, I believe" he said idly, remembering that he'd promised pie. mmmyes.

He was persistant, she'd give him that, but his technique could definately use some work, so far what she saw wouldn't turn her fancy.

"Don't wait up for me darling..."

She threw in a wink before standing up, patting her cleavage to make sure that her fetus test tube was still there. Good, Sanura was still safe and warm, and after giving him a sultry smirk, X tugged down her creeping mini.

Maybe she should take that pie before either of those two go to it. 'Hmm.. I wonder what type of pie it is?' X thought to herself lazily, bringing a fingertip to rest idly on her lower lip.

Grinning, Vash gave her another smirk. "Oh, I won't...after all, even I need my beauty's sleep...." he said nonchalantly.

"Hmm... you may need to sleep a bit more then, it seems the dosage that you are currently adhering to... ain't doin' s**t for you."

X quipped softly with a grin, since she was obviously enjoying herself, but then she quirked a scared eye at the girl facing the fridge. This girl... was Hannibal Lector reincarnated.

Glancing over at Vashtya again, she nodded. "Cherry. Sounds tasty actually." She gently set the test tube down, although it was obvious she didn't really want to. "Why would you want to....chew on your test tube? You never know what fluid is inside, and I can fairly guarentee it doesn't taste good." Raising an eyebrow at him, she turned to the others in the room. "Uhm...Ahh. Forgive me. My name is Angie. Are you all also guardians?" Granted, she hadn't been paying much attention, but what did you expect from a fox-girl? Her attention span was innocently the size of a gnat....And she was a bookworm besides. That didn't make for a very attentive conversationalist. She totally hadn't caught the revelation by Inle, and probably was for the better because of it.

Tilting his head back, Vash laughed uproariously. "Touche." he said, placing one hand on angie's elbow. "milady?" he said, the title taking on a faint, teasing air as he vaguely gestured her towards one of the stools. "If I may...I'll get you a piece of that pie I mentioned..." he said, waggling his eyebrows playfully.

Inle nodded eagerly in the man's direction, careful not to dislodge her growing food monster o' DEWM, as she had mentally dubbed it. "Yeah! It makes perfect sense! I mean, mine looks like a pistachio jelly bean, and yours looks uh...well, I'm not sure what it looks like, but it DOES look chewy, and that other chick's, well, hers is gonna turn into a waffle!"

Clearly, Inle had consumed too much sugar.

"Oh I'm X... and tis true I'm a gaurdian... Nice to meet you."

X grinned at the mention of cherry pie, not her favorite, but the color of it reminded her of something she craved at the moment. She just shook that urge aside.

"Oh I don't the we should allow you near any cherries..." The daywalker paused as she tried to think of his name, but couldn't recall it, "Hmm... what was your name again..?" Her voice still kept its sultry tone as she spoke.

Angie started at the touch, but settled down just as quick. "I uhh...sure, that would be appreciated." Hmm not a very lively one, was she? She was still quite nervous over the large group of people she really didn't know. Sure, it was only 3 other people but it didn't help that she didn't know any of them. Talk about throwing yourself head first into an interesting situation.

Oh, yay! One of the others answered her. She had hoped she hadn't been too timid and quiet in her questions. "Nice to meet you too," came the shy reply. This just wasn't Angie's element here...

Inle, being incredibly observant as she wasn't at the moment, only just then noticed the fox-girl. "Hi!" she chirped in the way of the oblivious, "I'm Inle!"

A moment passed. "...did someone mention pie?"

Vash suddenly yawned, but wandered over to the cabinets that were a couple of feet above the countertop, opening them until he found the plates. Then, his quest for forks began. "Alright, who wanted pie?" he asked, even as he opened the fridge, grabbing the pastry he KNEW he'd seen before, and divvying it up quickly, smoothly placing the cut pieces on the plates he'd gotten and sliding the pie back into the fridge before picking up his fetus and sticking it carefully back into his pocket, distributing the pie slices and bowing his head slightly. "I'm exhausted." he said with a grin. "So, I bid you all good night--hope you sleep well." he said, flouncing out of the kitchen and wandering towards his room.

Ruby wandered back into the house, knowing full well that Sunny wouldn't be around, and still feeling a strong urge to hang around the house until the fetuses emerged. She headed directly for the kitchen, offering a small file to the occupants.. except for Inle, who she didn't make eye contact with. At this point the creature had some sort of odd ..ski cap on? And in this weather..? Ruby mentally shrugged it off, though warily stayed away from that one. "I'm glad you guys have found ways to keep yourselves occupied and entertained. "She moved to seat herself (though as far away from Inle as possible) and reached for a cold and no doubt stale waffle.

X waved to the exiting flirt-o-holic, leaving her on her own with one unstable woman, and another very quiet one.

This should be interesting.

The young woman saw Ruby walk in and thanked the gods that someone who was semi normal was here, and she waved appreciatively.

"And entertaining it has been. How are you Ruby?"

Inle immediately dug into her slice of pie, waving her fork at the man (whose name she still hadn't caught) as he departed. She ate her pie slowly, savoring its taste as she pondered the possibilities of the life atop her head. She smiled cheerily at Ruby as she entered, not noticing that she endeavored to avoid her. "Hi again!"

The fox-girl graciously accept the offered pie from Vash and began to idly munch on it. She noticed he was leaving however, and scrambled to swallow what was in her mouth before waving. "Sleep well." That was about all she could offer without feeling very...awkward. What else could she say to someone she didn't know?

Glancing at the gorgeous yet strange creature in which wandered in and began talking to them. This person she hadn't met yet, and again started feeling rather.... nervous and quiet. Curling her tail about her leg, which she seemed to do a lot when she was nervous, Angie quietly munched on her pie in silence. Observing the other's however, she gathered that this new one's name was Ruby. But was she a guardian, or what what she exactly...?

Blinking as she was spoken too, she again quickly did her best to remove the pie from her mouth, swallowing quickly before answering. "I am Angie, and very pleased to meet you." Ahh so she was one of what these little critters would likely grow into? Amazing. She couldn't help but stare at Ruby, not necessarily because OMG MONKEY, but because of how absolutely stunning she was. But of course she wouldn't say that out loud, for fear of looking rather...weird.

Tearing her glance away, she turns her attention to her test tube, pulling the sweatshirt out of her pack to wrap around it, then sticking it against the wall, so there was no chance of accidentally knocking it off and breaking the jar, potentially hurting the little one inside. Indeed, she lead a rather sheltered life since she came to gaia...sad sad thing.

X shifted her eyes to the side at Ruby, and tried to stifle a grin. She had been dealing with the 'special girl' for a good long time now, and X leaned over and whispered while Inle was admiring her pie.

"She's been talking about the Boundless as food... for about an hour now..."

Her eyes stayed on Inle incase she looked up, but luckily the pie was still very attention grabbing apparently. Setting a hand on Ruby's shoulder carefully and in comfort, X patted it lightly as a notification that she would protect her if need be. This would indeed be interesting.

Q poked his head into the kitchen, raising his eyebrows. So many new girls! "Hey ladies," he said, grinning. He walked to the table, grabbed a cold waffle and sitting on the table next to Inle. "Nishe hat," he said to Inle around a mouthful of waffle.

Inle pointed in the general direction of her hat at Ruby's question. She said around a mouthful of pie, "It's safe up here. 90% of a person's body heat escapes from the top of their head, and I figured these things probably need heat to grow otherwise they'll freeze to death and that would REALLY suck and--thanks!" she cut herself off to respond to Q's compliment.

Somewhat manic in mood, Sarabi ran/fell back down the stairs, impossibly managing to keep the sock-covered jar from breaking on her descent. She'd figured that since her bipolar moods were being friendly right now, she might as well take advantage of the situation.

Jauntily swinging the sock to and fro, she stepped into the kitchen, plopping down on a stool near the counter, and setting the jar carefully (more or less) down. She pulled the sock from the fetus, and examined it carefully. It looked more or less the same, so she could only assume no harm had been done.

Ruby nodded at X, her gaze moving to Angie swiftly as she noticed that the fox-girl seemed to stare at her for a moment before tending to her fetus. Ruby was used to it, to a point; she still found it unsettling on occasion.

She focused on Inle once more, bewildered by the strange creature, muttering out, "Don't you get warm..?" before her attention was caught by Q. She rolled her eyes at the quagga, "Bout time you got here."

There was an eyebrow raise when another Boundless entered the kitchen, Q she assumed, but then her thoughts quickly switched to 'yay some testosterone is here!' The truth was, X was much better around men than women, especially women who wanted to eat their children. X shifted in her seat so that she could face Q, her crossed legs absentmindedly switching, as one was falling asleep at the moment. Of course she forgot about the fact that she had her usual short skirt on because they were so comfortable, but she meant nothing in the motions.

"Oy you must be Q, I'm X..."

She smiled and gave a glance over to the girls, including the one who had just came in, before chuckling at Ruby's comment.

"So much love..."

That was news to her. One of them had been mentioning their fetus as food? Shocked, Angie glanced up, just as Q was bounding in. Recognising him from delivering her new wonder to her, she immediately waved at him to catch his attention. "Oh dear me. I'm so sorry if I seemed to ignore you after you delivered my tube. I didn't mean to, really." She felt rather sheepish still about the incident, and still slightly bad about it, thinking that maybe he'd done something to harm the tube, but figured it was better to claim she'd ignored him instead, as to not get him in trouble. She hadn't thought that at all, but had wanted to be careful none the less. She hoped he'd realize what she meant, and forgive her, none the less. Not off to such a good start, now was she?

Snickering to herself, Ruby went to seat herself next to Angie, hoping to get to know the quiet girl better. All of the new Guardians seemed so outgoing, it was nice to meet someone much like herself: quiet.

Skittering around Inle, she plopped down across from Angie. "What'd you name your Boundless?"

She shook her head, but stopped immediately, remembering the fragile fetus atop her head. "Nah, the heat doesn't bother me much, really. And it's just till the...whatever it is cracks, right? I'll be ok. Thanks for worrying, though, or something!" Inle flashed Ruby a happy smile. Finally, she made a friend!

Blushing, she looked fondly at her test tube. "I think...the name Kellen, fits. It means 'mighty warrior'. Maybe it'll help this little one to grow strong and confident. I'll know whether I chose the right name when the little one emerges..." She had rationale, sometimes. Whether it made sense to others or not, was a different story altogether.

Ruby's mouth moved much like a starving goldfish's would, eyes wide on the one wearing her fetus as a hat. She blinked owlishly a few times, visibly gulping. I wonder if she's contagious? Some sort of disease?? Yes, she'd definetly have to talk to Malkia about this one. Now she thinks I'm her friend?? Oh, just great.

"Uhmm. You're ..welcome?"

She turned her attention to Angie, though wary looks were tossed Inle's way. "Kellen. That's a wonderful name, I think. I'm sure he'll grow to be strong and proud." Her gaze clouded for a moment, "He'll need to be.."

Q looked up at Angie, swallowing his waffle. "'s fine. Nice to see you again."

He then turned his attention to X. He smiled and looked the Guardian up and down appreciatively. "Nice name."

Ruby turned her attention to Sarabi, blinking slightly at the odd question. "I, uh. I don't know if anything will happen, truthfully. I mean, I seriously doubt you can kill it by feeding it something..?" Ruby honestly had no clue, but she got the impression that the girl had, indeed, fed her Boundless something. "All I suggest is not opening the top too much.. might let bacteria get it or whatnot. Never know what can happen."

RP Cont.
Zael yawned as he meandered around looking for people. He had a headache the size of earthen Manhattan, and it wasn't going away any time soon. He held a hand to his painful noggin, and found a vacant seat to sit at. He'd been singing to his Boundless - but that had to stop when the headache made it near-impossible to listen to other people TALK - let along singing himself.

Score, male attention, it never ceased to make her happier, or boost her self esteem more.

"Ah, you too... two of the best letters methinks... and we now own em..."

X wanted to evil laugh, but didn't seem the time so she just evil chuckled inside her head for the time being. Though she was finding it amusing how both the males she had met so far seem to be, what's the term...? Manwhores. Very flirty manwhores, and this means X is saved from boredom and low self esteem problems.

"I was wondering... how exactly does a baby go from this," X made a loose motion toward her cleavage, where her Boundless was settled on a necklace, "...to a baby?"

None of these motions were meant to flirt, though X would never deny the attention she received, and the amusement in her eyes showed just that.

Inle yawned as her sugar rush began to abate. She set the now-empty plate on the island next to her, picking up her coffee cup. As went to take a sip, however, she was dismayed to find that the hot coffee had caused the sheer amount of sugar she had put in there to crystalize, forming a sort of coffee-flavored rock candy. Inle frowned, turning the cup upside down, eyes scanning the kitchen as if searching for something. "Is there an ice pick somewhere I can use?"

"Hah!" With a triumphant glance at Inle and X, Sarabi nodded to Ruby. "Thank you, that's what I thought." Turning, she strode off, back to her unattended jar on the counter. She seated herself, then turned to scan the room idly, not really interested in talking, but curious to see the others talking among themselves.

Ruby seemed to choke on something at Inle's question, "Ice pick?!" Gods help us if that one came across something sharp. "Don't you mean a toothpick?"

Zael stroked the fingers of his unoccupied hand gently over the glass of his fetus' jar. It was only a matter of time now - he'd called Dragon a couple of hours ago with the instructions, and was supposedly going to get the package via dragon [the animal] shortly.

Inle blinked blankly at Ruby's question. "No, I mean an ice pick. I'm trying to get the coffee out." She waved the cup at Ruby upside down as if to demonstrate her point. "And...maybe a hammer."

X greeted the man from earlier with a nod before eyeing Ruby in a side glance, but then immediately peered over to Inle. 'Ice pick? Wait...' She shook her head and decided not to get into this, all else fails she could teleport herself to her room. Away from the baby eater.

Ruby made a muffled sound, getting out of her seat to rummage through a silverware drawer. She removed a spoon and set it near Inle, still wary of the crazy lady. "This'll do you. You can scoop out your cement.. I mean coffee, and not harm yourself or anyone else in the process."

Zael waved a few fingers at X. Then went back to holding his head. The ache wasn't getting better - as a matter of fact, it was starting to get worse.

"Does anyone know where I can get some Asprin?"

The strange X was interesting, Q decided. Definitely worthy of further study. "I'm not sure, I've never actually seen it happen." Q leaned forward slightly. "Maybe it would help if I got a closer look," he said innocently.

Ruby turned from Inle to glance at Zael, compassion filling her dark red eyes. She nodded silently to him, exiting the kitchen to retrieve some of the requested medicine for him. Hefting back a rather large bottle of the stuff, she offered it silently to him before going back to babysit Inle.

Inle's brow rose, shocked at the veiled implication that she was...insane or something! Nonetheless, she took the spoon, stabbing her crystalized coffee in the hopes of breaking a chunk off. "I'm not crazy, or anything...I'm not one of those emo!goth!masochistic!posers that goes around inflicting pain for fun, or whatever." She cast a wary glance at the other occupants in the room, wondering if she really did give off that impression.

Curling her tail up against her chest, she hugged it, sleepily watching everyone, though a bit nervous as she watched Inle. Ice picks were rather...pointy...and dangerous. She may be tired, but still knew that just wasn't...right.

Yawning again, although trying effectively to hide it in her tail, she poked at her test tube.

Ruby really wasn't sure what a dragon was; at least, she'd never seen one. Malkia had told her much about the mystic creatures. "There's a large clearing out back past the border of trees," she offered helpfully.

"I hope they can find it then."

He smiled a little, and stroked the jar with his fingertips again. No sooner than the words were out of his mouth, there came three large crashes, and three draconic roars.

"I believe that's them, shall we go look? My brother's sent some stuff that I think you might be fairly interested in."

Ruby nodded, following Zael out towards the loud crashes. She was slightly alarmed and wondered if Sunny would come out to investigate. Chances were she wouldn't, but no doubt she'd want a full update once she'd learned of the delivery. What the delivery was, she wasn't sure, but he seemed sure they could use them.

Q took the jar, slightly disappointed. He frowned and pretended to study it carefully. "Hmmmm. Yes. Veeeery interesting. Uh huh, uh huh." He set it back on the table with a shrug. "No idea how they emerge."

He stretched leisurely. "I was only a baby myself when I was 'born', y'know. Didn't make any useful observations." He twitched his tail and glanced over at where Ruby had been. "You know anything, O Superior Primate?"

He looked around, startled that she had gone. "Ruby? Ruby?" He had been so distracted by X that he hadn't even noticed the noises from outside.

Ruby snorted at Q as she walked past him, offering a fond smack on the shoulder. "No. I really don't know how they emerge.. they just.. are." She continued following Zael out, yelling over her shoulder at Q. "Come see what Zael's brother brought us."

Two dragons lash their tails, and toss their heads in the said clearing. They're each carrying something strapped to their backs. Zael rolls his eyes a bit. Maybe a little overkill. Nevertheless, he lifts down the packages once the dragons bend to accomadate it, and sets them on the ground. Eighteen packages in all, looking to be containing the exact same thing. Zael pats the orange dragon on the rump, and she bunches her legs and pushes off from the ground, the brown male following shortly afterward.

Inle, curious about the commotion outside, quickly followed Zael and Ruby, coffeecup and spoon still in hand.

She stops short at the sight of the dragons, jaw dropping, the coffeecup nearly falling from her grasp. "Coooool!" she says. She has a sudden desire to dash back into the house and retrieve her camera, but before she has time to act on that thought, the dragons are gone.

Q jumped down off the table and followed Ruby to the door.

He was stunned at the sight of the dragons. He'd never seen such creatures.

"Wow," he said finally, watching them take off. "Those are some wings."

X just grinned, letting a light chuckle leave her lips when he didn't take the free peek she ended up giving him while leaning over. Hearing his comment to Ruby, X snickered softly.

"I thought humans were the 'superior primate'?"

The way X said it seemed to indicated that she wasn't a simple human, nor did she see herself lower than them. Standing up, she moved over to the quagga to retrieve Sanura, making sure to tug her skirt down in the back since she had slid off of the barstool.

After she had replaced the fetus-necklace to its rightful place, X reached out and ruffled Q's 'mane', which seemed more like a mohawk to her.

"I do dig the 'hawk though..."

EDIT: ((Damn me and my long posts.))

X blinked as Q suddenly jumped up from in front of her, and tore out to see the beasts outside, she had heard their snorting and figured they'd be used as mail transport.

She chuckled and teleported outside, lazily looking around as she reappeared in dark whisps of black smoke.

"Much better."

Ruby's eyes widened as she caught sight of the magnificent creatures, jaw dropping in delight. "Oh, they're wonderful!" She paid no attention to the packages until the dragons were no longer in sight. Once they'd gone, she turned to Zael. "What did you get for us?" She sounded eager and excited, like a child on their birthday.

"Let's see..."

Zael draws out his pocket-knife, and slits the twine holding six boxes together, then slices through the tape holding one box shut. Inside is a fetal incubator, Dragon's own design, that would easily accomidate one or more Boundless.

"Perfect. Why he sent me eighteen of them, I have no idea. Some of those boxes should have extra medical supplies stuffed in them - stethoscopes and the like."

Ruby grinned brightly at Zael, clapping her hands in delight. "Oh, Sunny will be so excited. She grabbed one of the sealed boxes, staggering slightly under the weight. "We can just set them in the foyer for now. Sunny's.. We can have some of the staff move them out to the lab later."

Q fluttered his eyelashes and pranced around X. "Oooh, you make me feel like a princess!" he said, tossing his head. He nearly tripped over one of the boxes, and jumped over it just in time.

"Wait a minute... what's this?"

He stooped to pick up something that had fallen from the box he'd opened. Scooping it from the grass, he held in his his palm for a minute, looking at it. Tears started to well up in his eyes, but he blinked them away, and looked up, whispering a thank you before dropping the item into his pocket, and starting to move the boxes in.

"A very... manly princess apparently... with a mohawk of a mane. I think that's the definition of absolute beauty, and I do believe you've just stolen my heart Q."

X preformed a dramatic clasping of her heart, catching a bit of breast in the process of avoiding Sanura, and then fanned herself lightly with the other hand before sending him a wink and walking over to the nearest box. She picked the thing up with ease, then carried it over to another box, which X stacked the former box on top of. Then she grasped the bottom box and began to lug it into the house with relative ease.

"Hows bout it Princess?" X made motion to several boxes to her left as she stepped past Q with a smirk.

Vampire strength never ceased to make her happy.

Inle set the coffee cup down on the grass; the others were helping, there was no reason she shouldn't too. She grabbed the strings tying one of the boxes together, proceeding to drag it slowly across the field.

He went back and forth, carrying the boxes with ease. He was sure not to disturb the little fetus sleeping in his backpack, in the sealed jar. It was held there by several lays of soft padding and a strap or two. It wasn't going anywhere. He came back for the last box, and lugged it inside, sitting at the kitchen table, and taking something out of his pocket to look at it.

Q picked up Inle's coffee cup and carted it back to the mansion, staggering and wheezing theatrically.

She had stowed the package and came back for her coffee cup, only to see Q drag it off dramatically. She laughed somewhat breathlessly, still kinda winded, following him into the house.

X had already set down the two boxes she had, but turned with the weezing she heard, shaking her head and chuckling.

"Don't hurt yourself..."

She gave her skirt a quick adjustment after having bent down to set down the boxes. Bah, jeans it will be tomorrow.

Q bowed elegantly and handed the cup to Inle. "This is yours, my lady."

He straightened up and smiled at X. "I'm exhausted. My back hurts. I think I slipped a disc." He stretched, wincing. "Actually, I am kind of tired. I'll see you guys tomorrow." He nodded to the Guardians, making his way to the staircase.

He stopped and called to Zael, "Oh -- thanks for the stuff! I'll tell Sunny if Ruby didn't already, I'm sure she'll appreciate it."

He whisked his tail and bounded up the staircase, vanishing.

X yawned at the mention of being tired, and after Q left, his comics once again causing her to laugh slightly, X waved to all who were left and then disappeared in a twisting, black smoke.

X's Journal
Often times I wonder about the female species, even more than I wonder and worry about the male species, at least they're simple creatures, easy to understand and not ******** CRAZY. I mean, I'm not exactly the normal person of the world, but god damn, at least I don't go around proclaiming that fetuses are snacks and will grow up to be food for us. I have decided not to let Sanura go near her until my girl can whoop a** all over the place, which I plan on teaching her to do, or at least having someone else teach her.

I think Ruby is the only normal girl there, and she's a Boundless, not to say that they're bad, but they definately are different and I'm sure they know it. Ruby also seemed a bit scared of Inle as well, though I'm not so much scared of her (cause I can damn well take care of myself), just scared for Sanura and the other Boundless around here. I wonder what she has in her test tube? No matter, Sanura or I will kick it's a** if it comes near hurting anyone.

The only 'sane' people I seem to have met have all been men, or rather they've all been male. Two of which seem to be horn dogs, and the other had several dragons deliver incubators to the mansion. Twas interesting. I finally met Q as well, he's the other horn dog I've met so far, he checked me out and tried to get a look at my cleavage with a cheap line, it amused me. Oh and he's quite the comedian, seems to strive to make people laugh, and I quite enjoy his company, it at least keeps my spirits up while I'm away from home.

Man I do miss the family. I wonder how Nathan's handling everything, and if Zanna misses me or not, maybe if I'm lucky she does.

Anyways, they said that the fetuses may grow soon so I should play some music or something for it while I sleep. I think I have a mix cd of classic classical (I don't much like it, but it's supposed to make babies smart so...why not try it here?), some classic rock, new rock, and a bit of dance and techno. No country whatsoever. Country music = evil and tasteless.

And if she's still here by morning I shall take her outside to the beach, maybe collect a bit of shells to spice up her side of the room... give it a more natural feel maybe?

Hm, that reminds me, I must talk to Sunny about getting a crib in here, but until tomorrow. I have influencing to do.

The Boundless
It was quiet as the seal on the jar somehow just.. dissolved, the fetus within nearly disappearing for a moment. It wasn't a jar, but some sort of ..time capsule, melting away when the time was just right.

It did so now, and from within the 'jar' emerged a gorgeous baby girl.

X's Journal
I woke up earlier than usual today, and to my surprise... instead of my shmecksay fetus in a test tube necklace on my dresser, there was the most adorable baby Sanura curled up inside of the DJ headphones I had left running into her jar. It must have been the cutest thing I have ever seen, and before she stirred and woke up I took a picture, but that probably won't be developed for a good while. After the picture I took a silent dance loop around the room, which consisted in arm waving, booty shaking and lots of quiet exclaiming. Oh and smiles, there were smiles galore too.

Anyways, after my baby dancing was over and I had calmed down, I made my way back over to her, picked her up as carefully as possible, and then wrapped a clean towel around her since I didn't have anything else to wrap her in and I didn't want her cold. It was then that I sat down again on the bed, but she made a small whimpering noise when I turned off the music, which was currently on the more 'mello' rock at the moment, so I unplugged the DJs and let the stereo play the music just loud enough for her to be able to hear it on the other side of the room. It was then I realized that it was on a rather depressing song, or CD rather. Good music, but depressing, which was kind of ironic seeing how happy I was.

I swear I must have gazed at Sanura for a good 20-30 minutes while I held her and she slept. She looked so peaceful, it reminded me of when Slush was this age, I hope her and Aka get along well, and that my leave doesn't affect Aka too much. Ah, but after a hell of a lot of mother/daughter stare-bonding, I decided to dig out the chipmunk plushie (twas the first one I grabbed out of my bag) and I gave it to her, setting it on her stomach.

She must have been awake, just unable to open her eyes quite yet, because she grabbed the plushie with both front 'paws' and proceeded to chew on the chipmunk's head. It was then I noticed her already impressive set, for a baby, of teeth, including her mini-sabers.

That reminds me, I probably should go down to the kitchen in search of bottles and whatnot, I'm sure that they'll have a few of those around, at least I hope so. Off to the kitchen it is!

Sanura meets Arram
Zael comes downstairs from his room, holding a cloth-wrapped bundle in his arms, and a tired expression on his face. He's holding the bundle close and appears to be... singing to it? Yes - singing to it. A lullaby, perhaps. He sits down on a chair in the corner of the place, and unwraps a bit of the bundle. The baby Boundless peeks out of the blankets, sightless and helpless. His ears twitch at the sound of Zael's voice, and he mouths the blanket's corner. Zael laughs, and tucks the corner back in, before stroking gently down the baby's ears.

The sound of booted footsteps was heard, getting louder as their owner got closer, who entered the kitchen to casually search for a bottle. X luckily found some fresh ones in the fridge, "Looks like Sunny is overprepared again, thank the gods..."

She mumbled softly to herself before taking the nozzle off of the bottle and placing it in the microwave for the shortest amount of time possible, so as not to make scalding milk. Taking the bottle out, she renozzled it and then tested it's temperature on her wrist, and after finding it suitable, she carefully took the chipmunk plushie out of Sanura's mouth and replaced it with the bottle.

And she sucked like there was no tomorrow. X made a mental thank you that she didn't have to breast feed this one, with what Sanura had done to not only the poor plushie's head, but what she was doing to the bottle. Raising an eyebrow, the daywalker heard a soft voice coming from the other side of the house, and she, after securely adjusting the bundle of fur in her arms, followed it until she came across a young man.

He had a Boundless too it seemed, and not wanting to interrupt, X just stood inside the door frame, leaning against it as she watched silently.

Zael looked up at X, and blinked. He'd seen her around before - but not up close. He smiled at her a little, and canted his head down at the small Boundless sabertooth in her arms. Arram squirmed in the blankets, and nosed Zael's hand, looking for food. He let out a small disappointed squeak when none was to be found.

"You have a beautiful little one there... My name is Zael Arrikanez, and this is Arram. I arrived at the island chain about a month ago. I arrived at the mansion about a few days ago... what about you?"

Arram was twitching his ears in response to his father's voice, trying to find where it was coming from.

Sanura was far too interested in her bottle than both X or the new voice, but she did snuggle into the blankets, which she had been wrapped in moreso, purring softly.

"And you as well, I'm X--just X--and this ball of teeth and fur is Sanura." X let her eyes glance over him again, her brief view from earlier hadn't been to her satisifaction, though this one was.

"Hmm... as for your other questions, I arrived, both to the chain and to the mansion, several days ago. Pleasure to meet you."

The daywalker made a light nodding bow in greeting, careful not to stir the baby in her arms, her other hand lazily attempting to dry the 'chew toy' by swinging it in her fingers. No such luck.

"Pleasure, I'm sure. Interesting toy. I haven't been able to find one yet for this one, but he doesn't seem inclined to chew as much as your little one. I really hope I'm doing this parent thing right... Gods only know I screwed THAT one up before."

He sighed, and started bouncing Arram on his knee. The young Boundless made a happy neighing sound, and waved his front legs in the air.

"I've got a rat one as well," X shrugged somewhat before continuing, "...besides, when you raise enough children, you know the best places for gifts and such... And don't worry, it'll get easier."

Sanura, deciding that she was finished with the bottle, pushed it away and it went clattering noisily to the floor, which incidentally the young saber wasn't too happy about this noise. She made a pained cry and pressed her ears as close to her head as possible, reaching up with her 'paws' to indicate she wanted the chipmunk back.

X only chuckled softly, noticing the baby was okay, just bothered, and then plopped the plushie down in the little girl's arms, which she immediately took to chewing on its head again.

"Poor chipmunk..."

"She seems to be quite the little ball of fur and energy, doesn't she?"

He laughed softly, and tickled Arram's belly. The Hyracotherium child squirmed a little, and whickered softly.

"This one is only active in spurts. I'm wondering if he's sick... or if it's something I did..."

"I think mine just spent a little too much time around me... I doubt you did anything wrong, but you can always ask Sunny next time she's around..."

X noticed a fireplace near the corner where Zael was sitting, so she manuevered over to it and sat down in front of it, setting Sanura carefully in front of her to gnaw on the plushie.

"I wonder what they'll be like when they're older..."

Zael set Arram down near Sanura and watched, his arms crossed. The young horse-child started crawling towards the fireplace, and smacked his head right into Sanura's shoulder. He backed up with a suprised whinny, and landed right on his rump. Zael chuckled, and reached down to ruffle his headfur.

Sanura let out a surprised mrow as she was head butted, sniffing lightly towards the scent of whatever that had knocked her. Gripping the plushie tightly with her front arms, she turned her head towards the offender, the plopping noise of him landing causing her ears to swivel slightly in his direction, adding a now curious mew to the air.

X joined in chuckling with Zael and lazily leaned back against the chair's legs, making sure not to get in his legspace.

Arram whickered softly, and nosed forward again, hitting Sanura's front paw/hand with his nose. He whinnied, and flopped over, scooting towards her.

"Isn't that sweet? I think they might just like each other."

Zael smiled, and sighed softly.

The sabercat held onto her plushie tighter, sniffing more as she leaned forward towards the plushie stealer, nudging her nose against his ear curiously. A soft purring mew came from the kittenlike baby.

"Aye, they might just... wonder when they'll open their eyes..."

X heard the sigh and glanced up at the man above her, but decided not to say anything and just watch the two babies.

"It will probably be at least a day. She's lovely you know..."

The Eohippus child whickers, and noses forward, trying to grab the plushie again in his mouth. Zael bends down to pick him up, and make him let go.

"That's enough now - I'll get you a plushie of your own soon, Arram. You leave hers be."

Sanura whimpers when the warm fuzzy thing is scooped away, making a light sad mewing noise as Arram left, but soon after, she forgot and stuffed the plushe back in her mouth.

"I wonder what color eyes she has... and Arram too... And if you want I can pick up some plushies for Arram at the mainland..."

X grinned as she looked up at him, trying to catch a glance of his face and the cute bundle in his arms.

Zael nodded to X, and set Arram back on the floor, where he promptly crawled back over to Sanura, and curled up against her side. She was warm, he was cold. Simple logic.

"If you would, I'd appreciate it... Oh.. Errr... should I move him?"

"Any particular kind that you want, like a specific animal or something?"

X looked over at Arram and Sanura, who had turned over towards the warmth, her one paw moving to rest against Arram's side, leaving the chipmunk rear free from her grasp.

"Nah, I think they're good for now... just as long as they don't crawl towards the fire..."

She patted the floor next to her, motioning for him to sit down next to her with a smile, "Cmon, sit with me... it's a front row seat."

Inle, at that moment, clomped down the stairs, singing loudly and off-key, "I used to be such a sweet sweet thing, till they got a hold of meeee!" Eki was cradled in her arms as she hopped down the stairs, wrapped securely in an old Iron Maiden t-shirt, making soft baby giggles at his mother's horrible vocal abilities.

He smiles again, and hops out of the chair to plop down beside X.

"Something horse-like I'd imagine... and from the looks of it... maybe something that resembles Sanura...."

Arram softly snorts, and curls tight against Sanura's side, refusing to be budged, no matter how hard he's pushed or shoved.

"Mkay, I'll see if I can find something... So what about you, tell me a bit about yourself."

X gave him a quick glance before looking at the two Boundless curled together on the floor, Sanura nuzzling her wet cat-like nose against Arram, the plushie hanging out of her mouth nudging at him as well.

"They are rather cute together..."

Zael nodded, and yawned a bit himself as his son did.

"I'm tired... dunno why... Heh... doesn't look like he's going to move, does it?"

He yawns again, and closes his eyes, snoozing a bit, before he remembers he's been asked a question.

"Gods - sorry... dozed right off... Can you ask me that tommorow? It's a rather sensitive subject."

Inle danced her way into the kitchen. Eki had grasped some of the shirt Inle wore in his tiny, clawed fist, and although she could feel the fabric tearing a little, she didn't seem to mind. "Let's see," she said to no one in particular. "What should I feed you? Don't lizards like, eat small animals? Whole? But you're too little to eat a whole animal soooo...I wonder if there's any hamburger meat lying around. Yeah, that would work!"

Boot-clad feet padded loudly to the refrigerator; as she threw the door open, Eki curled closer to Inle's shoulder, making an unhappy hiss at the change of temperature. She poked around in the contents for a moment, eventually coming up with a small, saran-wrapped chunk of raw meat. Using a foot to push the door shut, she strode somewhat victoriously out of the kitchen, looking for Ruby and/or Q to ask if it was alright to feed Eki what might have been someone's dinner.

As she walked around the mansion, she heard the sound of voices. Curious, she followed their sound, only to find a couple of the other guardians, their babies playing on the floor. "Awww," she said. "Lookitthelittlebabiessocute!"

"Not really... the look pretty stuck together..."

X raised an eyebrow at his other comment after the pause, smiling softly, she moved an arm around his shoulders and pulled him towards her so that he could rest his head against her shoulder if he liked.

"Fires tend to make people sleepy methinks... but aye, I'll ask you another time..."

The daywalker looked up at the incoming voice, chuckling softly. "Aren't they cute? Ohh yours is green, reminds me of Nyoka..."

Zael sighed, and leaned against X's shoulder. He was asleep before too much longer, much like his son. It really was cute.

Inle literally hopped into the vacated chair, settling herself in it cross-legged. Eki's tongue flickered out, tasting new scents, and squirmed in her lap, but she held him fast. Opening the blob of wrapped meat one-handed, she dipped a finger in it, holding it at Eki's mouth, smiling when he started chewing on it.

"Did your guys' just hatch too?"

"I don't think fetuses 'hatch' persay, but I woke up and had a baby on my dresser... So it's a yes, but it looks like I'll be going home with two new men... both sleeping like babies. How are you?"

X leaned her head against Zael's out of instinct, letting her fingertips lazily run through his blond hair in a soothing manner, like she did to Nathan when he was depressed.

Sanura, was now fast asleep, like the other two men, and was clinging to Arram and purring softly.

"We ah mahvelous, dahling, simply mahvelous," she responded, affecting a horrible foreign accent. She fed Eki more of the meat, tearing her eyes from him long enough to glance over at the others. "Sooo...which ones are those?" she asked, tilting her head in the direction of the babies curled up by the fire.

"Hmm... the saber is mine, and the other one is this bigger sleeping baby..." X made a refrence to the man leaning against her, "But I don't know how I'm going to get them back up to the rooms without waking them."

In fact, Sanura was making kitty snorepurrs every so often, nuzzling against the other furry warmth. She just looked up at the other girl for a moment.

Inle shrugged. "Wake them anyway? Or let them sleep here, I mean the worst that can happen is the babies'll crawl into the fire and then their species'll REALLY be extinct." As she fed Eki the last of the meat, she wiped her soggy finger on her pants, but reoffered it to Eki once it was somewhat clean. He cooed happily, content to chew on this offering.

"But they all look so cute! Even blondie here, and I'm not much into blondes. Sleeping men are always cute, look innocent."

X chuckled and watched Inle with her lizardo for a moment, before turning to the two sleeping babies, a soft smile coming across her lips, her fingertips continuing to run through Zael's hair.

"An' I thought about that, tis why I'm watching them... so they don't become sacrifical Buddists."

A thricely-pierced brow quirked at X's statement. "So...spy on him when he's sleeping, or something? Or put the fire out so no one gets roasted, although..." she trailed off there. No need to share her views on cannibalism. Instead, she squirmed on the chair, free hand digging through a pocket until she came up with a disposable camera. She carefully tossed it to X, trying not to hit the man she was sitting with. "Take a picture, it'll last longer."

"Nah, I've got a husband... though he's never bloody around anymore... Feel like a single mum..."

X grinned slightly, looking back at her just as she tossed the camera, her 'free' hand precisely snapping up and catching the camera with ease. She turned and took a picture of the two babies and then stuck the camera in her lap, ******** no she wasn't going to give up a free camera. The girl'd have to fight her for it, doubtful that would work either.

"No fire equals no warmth... not something I want."

Inle glanced briefly at the camera in X's lap before looking at the babies curled up by the fire. Was this chick a klepto or something? Gods, she had better hide her real equipment somewhere safe before she got any ideas. Maybe get a safe or something...and they called her crazy. "Have fun sleeping there, then."

Her attention turned back to Eki as he yawned around her thoroughly soggy finger, murmuring gibberish.

Ruby wandered into the front foyer of the mansion, a large yawn parting her muzzle. She meandered into the kitchen, quickly taking note of the three Guardians and their wards chatting it up in the living room. She rummaged around in the kitchen, noticing that a few of the bottles were missing. Ruby chuckled, very eager to meet the newcomers. Grabbing a banana (how ironic) and a glass of orange juice, she swiftly peeled the fruit and downed it in a few not-so-graceful bites before gulping down the juice.

Finishing up her snack, she padded silently over to the door of the living room, peering in on the occupants, merely observing for the time being.

"Who says I'm going to sleep here?"

X just smirked, she had a few secrets of her own, and wasn't too worried about getting up to bed, just lazy. She was about to say something when she saw Ruby at the door, and she waved with her free hand, mouthing a light hello.

Sanura just chortled some as she nuzzled as close as possible to Arram, she may just take both of them to her room with her, and leave Zael a note or something. Bah, she'd think of something when the time came.

"Who says you're not already asleep, and that this isn't some drug-induced dream? Or maybe you're dead and this is hell, and at some point someone's gonna come along and shove a giant pineapple up your a** just to ******** with you, cuz that's what they do. In hell."

Eki giggled as Inle finished speaking, as though he found the hidden humor in his mother's words. Inle's gaze followed X's, and she turned in her chair only to see Ruby lounging in the doorway. She flashed her a bright smile. "Hi!"

Ruby flicked her tail, offering a silent wave to the two conscious Guardians in the room. "Hey, guys." She seated herself away from the group, but faced them in her seat. "How're the little tykes?" Her eyes rested fondly on each of them in turn, tail flicking as though she itched to scoop all three of the little ones up and cart them away.

"I've already died love... And there's nothing wrong with a**l."

X grinned, a hint of her fangs slightly visible if she were turned to Inle, but she wasn't and instead turned her attention to the older Boundless.

"Oh those two are attached to eachother I think, and now they're sleeping, and sharing a plush."

They were pretty damned cute, and X looked over to Ruby and chuckled at the look she was giving them.

Inle made a face at the thought of a**l involving a giant pineapple, and immediately burst out laughing. Eki's giggles sounded with her own as she looked over at Ruby. "This little tyke's just fine. I hope you don't mind, I fed him some hamburger..." she gestured at the empty wrapper.

Ruby shook her head, grinning, which was rare for her. "Has anyone's eyes opened yet? It usually doesn't take too long." She slid to the floor, leaning back against the chair. "And no worries about the food. Generally they'll eat anything, which is the most interesting thing. Your little saber, for example. She could grow up to be a vegetarian for all we know." Deeply lit gaze turned to Inle, "It's the most interesting thing. You never know what they'll eat unless you offer them different things."

"Well Sanura's currently sleeping, but maybe when she wakes up? And a vegetarian?" X made a disgusted face for a moment before continuing on, "I'd die if I didn't have my taste of flesh..."

She managed a light chuckle before looking at Zael still leaning against her, sighing softly, X figured she better deal with him, her shoulder was going numb.

"I'm going to take him upstairs, I'll be back in a flash watch the kids please?"

And with the last word, X turned around and wrapped her arms around him before the two of them seemed to be enveloped in a thick smoke, and then all of a sudden they dissappeared. After putting him in his bed, she teleported back to where she had been sitting naught moments before.

"Sorry bout that, I get lazy sometimes and my arm was going numb." .

As X teleported away, Inle's eyes widened. She was getting that feeling again...the one where she felt the need to take an object and dissect it just to see how it worked. The problem was, she usually didn't put things back together, and she thought X would hardly appreciate being her latest science experiment.

Fiercely clamping down on her urge, she turned back to Ruby. "Different things...think it's safe to give him candy, or something? What did you eat as a baby?"

X's journal
Last night I formally met the man I had caught a glimpse of earlier this week, the blonde cutish one. Anyways, he's the gaurdian of Arram, who met Sanura and almost immediately latched onto her, and vice versa. Twas very cute. I told Zael that I'd try to find him a plushie for Arram when I went back to the mainland, and then he fell asleep against my shoulder. Ended up having to teleport him up to his room, I did tuck him in though.

The babies were a bit harder to satisfy, after saying good bye to Ruby (who had showed up later) and Inle (who kept giving me weird looks), I took the two up to Zael's room, carefully pried them apart, and set his little one down by his father. I left moments later after making sure the two were just fine, and then I did pretty much the same as well.

Sorry for the choppy entry, I just don't feel quite up to writing for the day.

-X

X shut the leatherbound notebook before looking over at Sanura on the bed with a light sigh, she had a few things weighing on her mind that continued to irk her, but the sight of the baby playing happily with her plushie. All X could see was Sanura's rump wiggling happy-like at her though, so the daywalker reached over to Sanura and scooped her up.

There was a mewing of surprise immediately when she was scooped up, but as soon as Sanura felt and saw who it was, it turned into a content purr. She noticed now that the young saber's eyes had indeed opened, and X was positively lost in them. Sanura just grinned and gave X a 'ha ha, look at me now' kind of look, a proud, yet curious one.

The eyes themselves were particurly amazing, as they were still cat-like in shape and whatnot, but the color was strange, or rather colors. Both eyes were a deep dark green, but each pupil seemed to be outlined by a deep, sparkling amber color, which also seemed to be 'sprayed' out from the pupil, making her eyes seeming to sparkle. In her right eye, the amber seemed to almost reach the outside of the iris, giving the eye a speckled look, but in her left it was barely visible outside of the outlined.

It was strange to say the least, but beautiful nonetheless, and X gasped proudly in reaction before cuddling the baby against her chest, where Sanura seemed to find great comfort. Maybe all the test tube in the cleavage was a bad idea after all?

"You're so beautiful Sanura..." X cooed with her Polish accent coming out somewhat, and without thinking X herself began to speak to the baby in Polish, figuring that maybe Sanura may want to learn another language. "You are my darling... beautiful."

She murmered it softly, lest anyone else be close enough to hear her speak a different language. No one ever said anything about her accent, of which she was glad, but X was sure speaking in Polish would indeed turn a few heads at that. It was a secret best kept safe between Sanura and her; questions about her accent and past usually didn't bode well with X.

"I bet you want to go visit Arram again? Maybe he opened his eyes?"

The young vampire continued to use her hushed voice, and doubted that Sanura understood anything except the word 'Arram', which the baby saber quickly perked her ears up to, her eyes shining with eagerness.

"Downstairs it is," She chuckled softly, returning to English and ruffling Sanura's head tuft up before moving off of the bed and then out of the door.

"It's explorin' time..."

Fooding
As X made her way through the hall and then down the stairs, she continued to murmer quietly to Sanura, looking about to make sure than no one was around to hear her every so often. She made a quick stop off at the kitchen, rifling through the the fridge for something to feed Sanura, Ruby had said that they just don't eat milk all the time, and since Sanura had lots of teeth, maybe a food change would be good.

"I wonder what you'd like to eat... hmm.."

X started pulling out various fruits and veggies, as well as some desserts and a few other random food, including some meat, raw and cooked alike. Setting the 'kitten' on the counter by the food, X looked into the the wide eyed Sanura, who sniffed the air curiously, mrowing softly.

"Feast time beautiful."

Zael made his way down to the kitchen with a sleepy Arram in his arms. The horse-child had a block in his mouth, and another in his front legs. He was shaking one up and down, and chewing on the other. Zael was chuckling a little, and stroking Arram's ears.

"Good evening, X. And Sanura. Oh, what pretty eyes!"

With the noise of a voice behind her, X grinned and turned her head to find its source, noticing Zael and Arram and giving a light wave. Sanura however had found the bowl of strawberries and had shoved her face in them, chomping at random strawberries ineffectively.

By the time the two had walked in, the saber's face was covered in bits of strawberries, the red hue complimenting her green eyes, and then she noticed Arram, and her front paws waved out at him, purring happily.

"Hey... Um... you seemed to have slept well, you conked on my shoulder last night." X grinned and hoped that he didn't catch her slip up, and decided to change the subject a bit. "Yeah, her eyes are amazing, I'm so jealous... both of her's and Arram's..."

Zael set Arram on the counter, and he immediately crawled towards the bowl of strawberries and Sanura, making whickering noises. He hooked his front legs over the bowl, and pulled himself up.
Zael laughed, and shook his head a little. He HAD noticed X's slipup - but had a little suprise in store for her. Being as old as he was had lots of advantages.
"You know Polish too? Interesting. They seem to like each other, yes..."

X blinked and blushed slightly, surprised when he responded in Polish as well, considering it was a strange language around here it seemed.

"Apparently, sometimes people mention my accent... So I guess I grew up learning this language first..."

She grin and turned to the two Boundless, chuckling when Sanura licked Arram's cheek and then rubbing against it, getting strawberry blood on Arram too. Sanura sniffed the horse Boundless before noticing the bowl next to them. Ice cream! The furball shoved her head into this bowl as well, licking happily.

Arram made an unhappy whinny, and pushed his nose into the both with Sanura, before Zael lifted him out, and cleaned him off with a wet towel.

"Nope. Don't think so. That stuff's bad for you."

He whinnied again, and flailed in Zael's arms.

"No."

He set the Boundless down on the opposite counter, and started to clean him off to whinnies of protest.

Noticing he had reverted to English again, she shifted her eyes away and sighed softly before nudging Sanura out of the ice cream bowl.

"It's just vanilla, shouldn't do any harm..."

Sanura eyed the fish X had set out and started crawling to it, but X was one step ahead of her and scooped the baby up in no time, no fish breath for her child. Looking down at the saber's face, X grabbed a clean towel and damped it so she could wipe off the sticky strawberry juice.

"So strawberries are good... Why don't you try and give Arram a baby carrot?"

At the mention of the other baby's name, Sanura sniffed the air and tried to squirm towards Arram, but X held her still and continued wiping.

Arram nosed Zael's hand, looking for food. He was hungry and it was his dinnertime.

"No - I JUST fed you!"

Arram squeaked in protest, and tried to crawl OFF the other counter to the bowl and Sanura. Luckily, Zael caught him, and brought him over to the counter with the other Boundless - AFTER removing the strawberries and ice-cream.

"I hadn't thought of that, X... do you have one?"

"Mmhmm... right by your hand actually..." X chuckled softly at the two before she took the two bowls from Zael and set them on the far counter, putting the fish and whatnot away for now.

Sanura showed no intrest in the orange veggies, instead gazing her speckled eyes at Arram's squeak fit, so in attempts to 'protect' Arram from the yelling man, she crawled over to the Eohippus baby and climbed on top of him, only managing to drape her baby body over him. Though she was stuck, she decided to stay there, he was warm and he smelled friendly.

X however had found some cheesecake in the fridge and had immediately dove for the nearest clean fork, murring happily as she began to eat her new beloved. Her eyes carefully watched the two however, finding them to be oh so cute and her cheesecake oh so good.

Arram squirms, and then decides to live with Sanura draped over him. Snorting softly and then reaching his mouth towards the juicy carrot while still under Sanura. He whinnies when he can't quite reach. Zael knocks the carrot closer, and is rewarded with a happy neigh as Arram gets his mouth around the veggie, and chews.

Inle wanders into the kitchen, Eki in tow, and stops short at all the bodies occupying the room. She offers them a weak smile, and seeing the kitchen's island full of food, she plunks the baby lizard down in the middle of it. Rather than diving after the food, however, he just kind of stares at everyone with his cold, topaz-colored eyes.

Sanura sniffed at the carrot Arram was eating and stuck her tongue out, as if to say 'ew' to the veggie. It had no smell, and it looked funny, so the saber attempted to wriggle off of Arram, but in her attempts she slipped and flopped backwards into a bowl of smaller apples.

Thinking that they were some sort of chew toy since they had a strange scent, Sanura bit into the nearest apple, but when she went to open her jaw to chew, the apple just stuck there to her sabers. This left Sanura cross eyed staring at the green apple, seemingly stupified.

Arram blinked, and crawled over to Sanura, squeaking, trying to pull her free by chomping on the apple himself, and trying to pull her off.

Oh no he was not trying to steal her food, not matter how stuck and annoying it was, it was hers, and Sanura attempted to growl protectively, but it came out like a weird whistling snort because of the lodged apple.

X just watched the two with great amusement as the saber pulled back on the apple, trying to tug-a-war it away from Arram.

The young woman noticed Inle and gave a slight wave and smile before returning her attention to the three on the table.

Eki watched the game being played with the apple for a moment before crawling over to the other baby Boundlesses. He too sank his fangs into the apple, tiny arms raising to sink their claws into its flesh. As a result, his weight bore the fruit back to the surface.

Arram found himself stuck as well, his mouth too small for the apple. He tries to jerk away, finding himself pulled back along with the apple. Zael's trying VERY hard not to laugh.

Finished with her cheesecake, X set the plate down in the dishwasher before looking over at the three, wondering if she picked up the apple would she get three babies hanging from it.

"They're amusing aren't they?" She moved into Polish because lately it seemed to be more prominant, more natural, and now she didn't even notice when she said it, not intentionally trying to keep Inle out of the conversation.

Sanura growled, which once again got mistrewed by the apple, and shook her head from side to side in attempts to reclaim her apple. After a strong jerk, she toppled over backwards into the bowl again, taking the other two with her.

Eki squeaked as he his balance was suddenly thrown off, his tiny fores removing themselves from the apple in order to steady himself, only to sink into the sides of the fruit after a moment. The slitted pupils of his eyes contracted even more as he gave a mighty tug of his own, finally ripping the apple free. He was once more set off-balance, however, and he landed outside of the bowl on his back, looking somewhat bewildered.

Zael scoops Arram from the pile of Boundless, and motions back upstairs.

"About time for us to hit the sack. See you tommorow I guess?"

Sanura gave a pained cry as the apple was roughly ripped from her sabers, which apparently were sensitive, the young tiger moving her paws to her mouth in attempts to make the pain go away. The daywalker was about to answer Zael's statement when she heard the cry and immediately scooped up Sanura, holding the young Bounless against her until she calmed down, responding to Zael then.

"Mmhmm... I guess so, sleep well then."

X was kind of disappointed, both in the fact that everytime she tried to speak Polish with him, he ignored her, and partly because he was leaving her with the looney one. It could be heard in her voice as she shifted her eyes over to Inle for the moment before returning them to the furball in her arms.

"Um... X... Why don't you come up to my room tonight, yes? I think the little ones want to spend some private time together."

Inle smiled inwardly as Eki succeeding in getting the apple; to her, this was just more proof that "Minizilla," as she had come to affectionately call him, kicked all sorts of a**. She sat Eki upright, gently detaching his teeth and claws from the apple to his squeaking protests.

From a pocket of her pants, she pulled a butterfly knife, opening it expertly with a flick of her wrist before slicing the fruit into halves, pushing one half towards X and Sanura. She began to cut the remaining half into bite size pieces, feeding them to Eki, who gurgled in delight.

She nodded in thanks as she took the apple slices from Inle, unimpressed by the knife handling, and offered a slice to Sanura, who sniffed it and immediately snubbed it, glaring at the fruit. X just shrugged and at the slice herself, rubbing Sanura'd back as she listened to Zael, wondering what kind of proposal this was, seemed innocent enough.

"I think I can do that... Any particular time you want me to come? They do seem to like eachother."

X made a mental note to find a person to train Sanura if she so chooses, from her research, sabertooths were pretty damn strong themselves.

"Later, maybe tommorow morning?"

He grins, and waves at X, started upstairs.

"Goodnight to you! And I'll see you again tommorow - as will Arram."

Inle did her best to ignore those around her, feeling much more subdued tonight. She made a face at Eki as she fed him the last chunk of apple, crossing her eyes and sticking her tongue out. Eki giggled in return, sticking his own overly long tongue out. Almost reluctantly, Inle smiled at him, leaning forward to press a kiss to the tip of his snout.

X nodded to Zael, "I'll knock later and if you don't answer I'll see you in the morning. Goodnight then..." Sanura on the other hand, mimicked her mother as she waved, raising a paw and peering her spackled eyes over X's shoulder to sadly watch them go.

"Sorry about the Polish, it's not everyday you find someone that speaks that fluently too..."

She grinned lightly, moving to the fridge in attempts to find another piece of cheesecake, Sanura feeling the cold and peering curiously into it, obviously not miffed by it either.

Inle half-shrugged apathetically, normally vivid eyes looking somewhat dulled. Her attention remained on Eki as she murmured, "Whatever." She idly refolded the knife, sticking it back in her pocket.

Eki had grown bored with the tongue game and moved to explore the rest of the foodstuffs on the table. His long tail swayed gently behind him as he stuck his head into a half empty bowl. His long tongue flickered out as he tasted its contents, apparently approving of it, as he began to devour it messily.

Sanura had slipped into one of her catnaps, nuzzling against X's chest somewhat (because honestly they are comfortable), purring softly. X chuckled and began to gather up the extra strawberries, putting the top on the tupperware and setting it aside to take upstairs with her.

"I see... I think I may head upstairs, Sanura's sleeping and I'm tired. I'll see you again."

She waved a bit and then headed up the stairs and out of view.

X's Journal

The most amazing thing happened yesterday, I found out Zael spoke Polish as well, which makes me all sorts of happy because now I can speak it with someone so I don't forget it. Nevermind that I don't know how or when I learned it, or the fact that it's obviously my first language since I have a noticable accent. Ah nevermind that, Zael invited me to come over for some 'private time' for the two little ones, though something inside me says that there may be something else he wants, but I deny that since I'm married. No matter Monkey's never around and whatnot.

Anyways, Sanura seems to really like strawberries, so I took some up to our room with me as a snack for her when I'm too busy to take her downstairs. She seems to be a bit fiesty, and we both found out that though she has human like hands, she does indeed have retractable claws like most cats today and apparently back then as well. They're her new found play toy, and my arms were the practice 'toys' as she got used to using them. The wounds will heal right quick, but they're pretty nasty considering she's only a baby, think of when she's older. The thought scares me.

Speaking of scaring me, Eki seems to be Sanura's new enemy, and that will also be a scary relation when they both grow up, and it's all the fault of an apple. Which is another thing, Sanura's sabers seem to be rather sensitive, hopefully it's just because of how new they are and not a permanent thing.

One thing I can say truthfully, is that I'm very blessed to have adopted her, and that she will be absolutely beautiful when she's older, and dangerous.

Sanura/Ruby/Eki
X yawned while she toddled downstairs, baby Sanura in arms, fondly chewing on the head of her chipmunk plushie. Sitting down on the counter after preparing a bottle for the sake of simplicity, X fought the plushie away from Sanura and gave her the bottle before she could protest and lash out with her newfound retractable claws.

Fresh scratches along X's wrist showed that this was a recently discovered skill, and that it had surprised her, considering Sanura's hands, though furry, were more akin to a human's than paws.

Ruby was in the kitchen seated at the large kitchen table that was set off to the side. She was poring over a few books which were scattered over the table, lips moving slightly as she read. She didn't look up when X entered the kitchen. Absently she lifted a glass of water to her lips, eyes never raising from the old, somewhat tattered book she was presently giving her full attention to. It wasn't until the commotion of X and Sanura fighting over the plushie was heard that Ruby glanced up, a smile flitting over her features. "Good evening, X, Sanura. How are the two of you?"

X smiled at Ruby, carrying both the saber and the moist plushie over to the table where the other Boundless was seated, careful not to disturb her work.

"We learned that she has retractable claws," She raised her slowly healing arm of scratches as evidence, "...and that's now her solution for everything since she hasn't gotten the hang of it yet..."

Sanura just purred as she suckled noisily on her bottle that X had given her.

Ruby chuckled at the pair, eyeing the scratches that littered X's forearms and hands. She clicked her tongue, rubbing an idle finger against Sanura's cheek before pushing her books aside. "She seems to be a fiesty one, mm?"

She chuckled warmly and nodded. "I can imagine she's going to be a handful when she grows older, X."

Inle shuffled into the kitchen, Eki held against her. She mumbled a halfhearted greeting to those in the room before plunking sitting Eki up on the middle of the table, then turning towards the fridge.

Eki blinked almost confusedly, yellow, slitted eyes focusing on Ruby, who he had never seen before. His tongue flittered out almost innocently as he stared at her; then, without warning, his chubby little arms raised, and he said, "Waaawr!" He then proceeded to giggle almost maniacally.

"She and Zanna will make great friends then... " X murmered softly as Sanura purred a bit louder at the cheek rub, "...And when she's older? I'm scared for anyone who'll piss her off..."

She gave a light grin before ruffling the 'kitten's' ears, eliciting more purring from Sanura.

"So whatcha up to?"

Ruby jerked a little in surprise, eyes widening for an instant before narrowing warily. She stifled a grin as she watched the atrocious baby, turning to watching Inle for a moment before her attention turned back to Eki. She tsked at him, gently tapping him on the nose before sticking her tongue out at him playfully.

X eyed the green Boundless warily as well, almost not surprised by his actions after the days before, and cause of the mother's influence.

"Lo Inle... Eki..." The daywalker was tempted to say 'icky', but doubted that'd be a good idea with Sanura in easy reach of Eki.

Sanura finished her bottle, too infactuated with it to bother, nor notice, Eki's actions, it was only when she tossed her bottle aside did she notice the other Boundless. Recognizing it as the one who hurt her teeth, Sanura made a light hissing noise before moving onto her rump and glaring at the lizard.

All of Eki's eyelids blinked owlishly as he stared at the finger that touched his nose, a clawed hand sluggishly reaching to grab it, only to reach out as it went away. The slits of his eyes narrowed as Ruby's tongue stuck out at him, and he returned the favor, his own long, skinny tongue poking out. He either took no notice of Sanura's disgruntled hiss or didn't care, so focused was he on this new game.

Inle had finally finished digging through the contents of the refrigerator. She had pondered for quite awhile what sort of foodstuffs to subject Eki to next, and fortune smiled upon her as she found a container of hard-boiled eggs. She took one, closing the door and walking to the table, nodding her hello to X before reaching out to ruffle the fur between Sanura's ears.

She sat in the chair nearest Ruby, proceeding to shell the egg. Once she had done so, she waved it in front of Eki's snout. He stared at it a moment before his clawed hands grasped it clumsily, then took a cautious bite out of it.

Inle smiled, looking from her ward to Ruby. "I think he likes you."

Ruby grinned, thorougly entranced by both of the gorgeous babies. She chuckled, tickling Eki's scaled belly before reaching over to scritch along the bottom of Sanura's foot.

"They're all just so lovely." She paused, a wistful look crossing her features. "I'm so looking forward to the day that I can have a child of my own." She blushed a bit, the tips of her ears tinged a bright red. "I'm sorry for carrying on. You're both so lucky. All of you are."

Sanura nuzzled up at the petting hand, but kept her eyes on the lizard, her 'paws' twitching ever so slightly before being distracted yet again by a tickle to her foot. Oh attention, and the saber was loving every minute of it, though still kept a wary eye on 'Icky' as she purred.

"With Q...?" X asked bluntly, not one to skirt around things most of the time, just hoping that Ruby wouldn't be too offended. "I think that they are the luckiest of all, another chance at life..."

Ruby snerked lightly, shrugging her shoulders while crossing her arms over her chest. Shoulders hunched in a slight shrug, "Mmph. He's the only one my age around here, so I might be stuck with him. There's word of a lost Boundless our age wandering around these islands, but I've yet to meet him. It's interesting that so much time went by before Sunny came along and created more Boundless." She chuckled, waving a delicate hand. "My relationship with Q is interesting, to say the least. He's so flirty and flighty."

Ruby chuckled at the kitten, still tickling along her foot while her other hand was occupied with tickle-torturing Eki.

Eki squeaked in laughter at the tickle to his sensitive underbelly, clawed hands fisting in the egg enough to tear off chunks at the side of it. As a result, it dropped to the table, but Eki didn't seem to mind. He simply stuck his egg-encrusted fist in his mouth, sucking on it loudly.

Inle snickered, picking up the egg lest it roll off the table, taking a bite of it before giving it back to Eki, who acted as if nothing had happened. She glanced at Ruby speculatively, before nodding. "Yeah, the kids are pretty cool," she started. "I don't know if this'll make up for a kid of your own, but how do you like the title "Auntie Ruby?" A small smile curled her lips, looking absolutely serious for once.

Ruby giggled, utterly out of character at the prospect of being 'Auntie' Ruby to one of these wonderful babies.

"Oh, that sounds wonderful. I would be honored!" She lifted the plump lizard in her hands, grinning beatifically at the little monster. Squeezing him in a hug, she placed him back down before his mother. Her attention quickly moved to Sanura, fingers raised in a menacing tickle move as she crept closer, clearly enjoying being surrounded by such wonderful creatures. She'd have to go shopping for these two later, no doubt.

X grinned at the response she got from Ruby, chuckling softly before letting Inle speak before she responded.

"Hmm.. a lost Boundless, does rumor tell what species as well? Oh and Q? Seemed pretty horndoggish and comedic to me..."

The young saber purrgiggled softly as X's fingertips ran against the top of her head and as Ruby's fingertips continued to tickly her foot. Attention attention attention! Sanura gave an overly toothy grin to X and then up to Ruby again, who had made an amusing outburst.

Eki dropped his egg as he was lifted, making a happy sort of chitter as he was hugged. He looked up at his guardian, who nearly beamed with pride before bending to give the top of his scaled head a kiss.

Inle stroked her chin pensively as she gazed at Ruby. "You and Q, huh? Well...it'd be interesting to see what your kids would look like," she said with a nod.

The Colobus stifled a yawn as she chuckled at X's comment concerning Q, nodding in wholehearted agreement. "Yes, and he's very obnoxious at times, too. And our children would no doubt be something to see." Chuckling, she withdrew her hands from both of the babies, lifting them over her head to stretch heartily.

"I'd better get going home. It's a lengthy walk and it's getting late." She pressed a small kiss to both of the babies, chuckling at them as she gathered her books and papers into a neat pile, placing them in a cabinet near the fridgerator. Turning back to the two Guardians and their Boundless, Ruby offered a wave and a soft 'goodnight' before turning and padding to the front door of the Estate.

The daywalker waved goodbye to the older Boundless, Sanura just making a soft mew with the kiss, blinking as the attention giver left, attempting to crawl towards Ruby and off of the table.

"Nuh uh... not a good plan..." X scooped Sanura up before giving a light smile to the other two, "Are yall planning on staying here at the mansion?"

As Inle waved a farewell to Ruby's retreating form, the overhead light glinted off of her finger armor. This caught Eki's attention, and he grasped Inle's hands with his own, promptly sticking the shining finger in his mouth. Inle chuckled, wrapping an arm around the lizard baby, looking up at X as she voiced her question. "As much as I'd like to...I don't think so. I've got other kids and pets back in Gambino, unfortunately. Are you two?"

"Same situation, I can only ask Nathan to babysit for so long... Gods know what has happened to the house by now... I may leave tomorrow, I've already stayed longer than planned."

X explained as well as thought outloud to herself as she set Sanura in her own lap, the saber's tail flicking happily as her mother rubbed Sanura's ear's softly, grinning a toothy smile once she realized that the chipmunk plushie was now in front of her for the taking. Time to gnaw some more, which she promptly did.

Inle nodded, gaze lowering to avidly study the grain of the table, idly wiggling her finger as Eki chewed upon it. "I dunno how long we'll stay...it just seems kinda unfair to the kids, ya know? Like they just got born and settled in, and suddenly their parents are taking them away from all that...I came to this island every weekend before I got Eki, though, and I'll keep coming. Just...I'll take him with me, is all. So he can visit."

"Don't you wish they had frequent boating miles...?" X's comment was a bit dry in sarcasm, but her next words were quite serious, "Yeah, but I figure Sanura should meet her family as well as other Boundless, so it's going to be a compromise on both parts methinks... Besides, I've got some shopping to do in Durem..."

Sanura gnawed enthusiasticly on the chipmunk's head, which was starting to lose the distinct features that denoted it as such, her hands gripping it tightly with both her strength and claws. Poor plushie.

She waved her free hand in a dismissive gesture. "It's not the boat thing I'm worried about. I've got a friend who lives in Gambino's port, he takes me here and back for free. But...yeah, I guess they should meet their other family. Not quite sure how the animals'll take it, though," she chuckled. Was she actually sounding serious? She must be tireder than she looked.

Sanura somehow nodded off to sleep, still chewing on the plushie, though lighter, and X took that cue as time for bed, if they were going to leave tomorrow.

"I may end up bringing some of her sisters over here, maybe even a brother... I'm sure they'll be happy for the trip, and speaking of trips, I must take my leave so I can pack and whatnot... Lot's of s**t to do."

X stood up and waved to the two, giving Eki a light rub on the head before she suddenly disappeared in a black swirl of smoke.
