"Escort you to Suna? Sure, I don't see any problem with that."

If the two groups were going to share information, it probably was best to return to Suna. He just had to hope that all the clues would point to the right village.

"But first... Hyabusa, I need you to make it to Suna ahead of us. Tell Ichi that the exams are not in Suna, and that we're going to share information with a team from Kumogakure..."

Hyabusa rolled his eyes. He didn't want to do it, of course, but it was a way for him to keep away from the dog.

"Hey, if it'll keep me away from the horrible smell of that flea bitten mutt, then sure! Just don't expect me to be around when you get there..."

Hyabusa took off, heading back in the direction of Suna.

"Err...I'm...really sorry about him. He has a personality that...really takes some getting used to. Anyway, if you two are ready, I can lead you there right away. Just make sure you have lots of water and something to protect you from flying sand. We're going through a desert in the land of winds, after all..."

User ImageTsukiko nodded, opening her pouch and pulling out a scroll. She opened it, and unlocked it, pulling out a light cloak with a hood. It was blue with clouds, to match her home city, and she put it aside, relocking the scroll and putting it away. "It's fine, Akira. No biggie-my dad's family has worse behaving ninken than your bird. Take a look at me and San. We don't exactly fit the profile of a normal Inuzuka and ninken, do we?" A couple of large canteens had also came from the scroll-they were filled with pure spring water-to anyone else, it would taste funny and crisper than most other water. "Shall we go?" she asked, clasping the cloak over her shoulders.

(( FOUND MY FORMAT YAIZ ))

User Image_I'm Hanjin Tatsumaki.

You might have a stacked deck...
But I've got the Ace of Blades.

Hanjin stumbled into the hallway with a look of pure victory pasted over his face. "I... I found it! I found the office! I feel happy... oh... sorry." He looked into the room he was standing right next to and rapped the doorframe with one of his heavy daggers, just like he had in Sunagakure. "... Miss Tsuchikage-sama? I'm here to investigate the Chuunin Exams... do you have any information for a genin looking for improvement?" He smiled weakly. "I'm Hanjin, from Kiri."

A round face poked out from behind a gigantic armchair that took up one of the four corners of the room. There was no telling what exactly she was doing there. She stood up, but even then, just barely cleared the arm of the plush furniture as she skipped in front of the door to greet Hanjin.

"Ah! Another one! Yay!" She clapped her hands together, but the sound was muffled by the over-sized sleeves of her kage cloak... kage cloak!? She looked like an academy student...

"I'm Natsuhiko Jimeinori--ah, it's very impressive to see young genin working so hard even at the eleventh hour~" and it was very weird to hear a twelve-year-old girl call a teenager "young".

"My clue to you is that we're not hosting the Exams this year, so sorry about that. You can still ask the jounin around here for clues if you like." She nodded and turned to pull a file off the large desk behind her. "Let's see... There should be one of my assistants over by the storage units today--they look like a bunch of tin sheds... and the other two were picking up some paperwork--they must've made it to the housing district by now. You can also try the training grounds too! There's almost always someone there." She smiled warmly and slid the file back onto the desk.

"That's about all the information I can give you, now. Good Luck!"

Hanjin blinked down at the Kage... Kage. Kage? WTF?

I mean... Hanjin was pretty tall... 5'10... but... this...

He shook his head. It wasn't uncommon for a very young, but adept, shinobi to be promoted to high ranks at the death or resignation of other officials.

"Oh... many thanks, Tsuchikage-chan!" He smiled and bowed to the girl, dipping his head in respect, then realized the full extent of the clue... it wasn't in the Land of Stone! This was big!

He noted the items in his head and stored the clue with the others. He'd eliminated the Land of Water, the Land of Fire, and the Land of Earth completely, and he could soon get back to the exams...

He smiled at the Kage... who was rather cute in her big, floppy cloak... and dipped his head. "I thank you for the information... I have to go now. Arigato gozaimasu!" He smiled warmly and put up a peace sign, then left the building. One big contender, down the drain...

Seo Himine

Seo entered into the village. There wasn't much at the gate and Seo guessed that the majority of the people had headed over to the exam area for the second test. He had hoped that the kage here would still be here for him to give Seo the Clues from this village.

The enormous swivel chair behind the kage's desk spun around to reveal the Tsuchikage. She appeared to be getting ready to leave, but stopped when she saw Seo.

"You're cutting it close, aren'tcha?" She questioned lightly when she noticed it was yet another foreign ninja at her door. She didn't seem put-off by the intrusion though, as she smiled and spoke warmly.

"Since you're probably in a hurry, I'll keep it quick. Stones isn't hosting the Exam this year." She seemed apologetic, but indeed kept her sentiments concise.

Scuff. Scuff. Scuff. Kimemaru approached the open door to the small room in which the village leader behind a large desk. Kimemarus pupils were receded, his curse beginning to surface. Kimemaru slowly raises his hand in a fist, almost to appear threatening. Kimemaru knocked twice. "Lady Tsuchikage.. I am here for my squad assignm-" Kimemaru cringes for a moment, the nightmare becoming uncontrolable. But as soon as it seemed to begin, it ended. Kimemaru stood up straight, and continued. I am here for my squad assignments.. I am sorry Lady Tsuchikage.. My nightmares come more often these days..

The Tsuchikage spun her rolling office chair around and looked over the immense desk at the genin in the room. However, finding that she was just a bit too short to really see that far, she resorted to plunking off her seat and walking around to the front of the desk. She grumbled a bit in embarrassment.

She looked to be about twelve, and wasn't even five feet tall. She seemed to be wearing the traditional kage robes out of compensation, but their enormous size seemed to just make her look sillier.

"It's nice to see you, Kimemaru!" Natsuhiko greeted brightly. To be honest, after reviewing all of the village genin's files, she couldn't quite remember whether or not she'd actually met this boy before. A small sweatdrop formed against her heavily-painted face.

"I'm afraid everything is still rather chaotic right now since I've only taken office quite recently... however, I did just send out one of my jounin to go recruit genin for a mission... Nothing big, but it'll give you something to do." She tried to sell her rather lame offer with a bright smile--complete with twinkling effect.

"He should be out by the storage facilities, you know the ones. They look like tin sheds?" She paused for a second in reminiscence. "I really hope he found someone... that was a really terrible mission to get stuck doing alone..."

She recovered herself quickly, though. "A-Anyway--that's what you're signed up to do today--!" She cocked her head to the side and laughed nervously. The little girl obviously had no idea what she was doing...

Angered by the thought of such a pitiful mission, Kimemaru approached the deask, slapping his hand down. "Lady Tsuchikage, please excuse me when I say that's ridiculous. I haven't even met my sensei! I have to go find him? Lady Tsuchikage, surely you don't mean there's no one left to team me with.." Kimemaru stands up, exhales a long, deep breath. Obviously irritated, kimemaru continues hesistantly. " Are you sure this is the only way? "

Natsuhiko's eyes narrowed at the boy's brazen retort. She said nothing, but seemed to get a little... taller? For the most part she maintained her cool.

"Your temporary sensei is already at the mission site, as will be any other genin willing to team up for the mission." She closed her eyes and cocked her head to the other side, "I take it in good faith you are not telling me you are too lazy to simply walk down to the storage facilities yourself, are you?"

She said this with a maternal tone that was very at-odds with her appearance. However, the "I dare you to say 'yes'," edge in her voice seemed to fit nonetheless.

As quickly as the cheer disappeared, it returned with another bright smile. "His name is Futari. He's the one with the mask." She made shooing motions in the direction of the door with her floppy sleeves.

Mitchigami Tetsurouma
User Image Mitchigami had been looking backward, and moving very, very quickly. It seemed as though he were in a hurry to go somewhere, but in truth, he was just misjudging his speed. Mitch turned his head forward, and his eyes grew large. Moments later, he crashed into the Tsuchikage's outer wall, just beside a window that he could have gone through instead. Mitch paused, stuck there. He twitched in different places all over his body, only managing to remove his left hand and head for the time being. Mitch rubbed his head with his free hand. "O-ow...Where..?
He froze, now getting a better look at the building. 'Ohhhh crap..'

Kyro was running around the Village shouting. "Mitch! Where are you!? We are suppose to be training right now!" As he was running he passed the Tsuchikage's office. He glances up notcing something different. He noticed Mitch against the wall of the building. "Oh my god, Mitch. Really?!" Kyro jumped up to a ledge so he would be closer to him. "You really are an idiot." He said mockingly. As Kyro spoke he started to scratch the back of his head. He had been grinning widely at Mitch the entire time.

User Image Mitchigami peeled himself off ot the wall, landing down beside Kyro. He was about to say something, when he noticed that he had left a little Mitch-sized dent in the wall. He winced, thinking of what his mother would do to him when she found out. Then, Mitch turned around. "Shut up..Let's get outta here before anyone sees..." He didn't wait. Instead, he took off, headed for the Training Grounds.

Kyro looked up to where Mitch had been. He saw the dent and shook his head slowly. He laughed at Mitch's reaction to it. "You're right." Kyro soon ran off to the training grounds as well, trying to keep up with Mitchi.
