Rowan snorted a bit. "He probably just forgot to kill you." He mumbled softly. Stupid forgetful stallion. It's amazing he even remembered his name or the fact that he had a herd some days. "Well the herd is a bit on the lax side as of late. But we will make our move soon." He assured her. At least that's what he hoped would happen. Rowan couldn't stand sitting around doing nothing anymore, which was why he had wandered off today. Last thing he had expected was to run into a mare like this one.

Rowan's ears flickered a bit as she agreed that even she had regrets. But like everything else she had talked about it was about not saving foals in time. Well then, time to play another game of 'I'm really a good guy underneath all this hatred.' He let out a deep breath. "You know what I regret." He began, making his gruff sounding voice have a hint of sadness to it. "I regret killing another stallion in cold blood while he basked in the midday sun. I gave him no chance to defend himself, just crushed his skull under my hooves repeatedly until it was so flat you couldn't even tell what it was. And for what? The mare he had been with. You know, after that she didn't want me anymore. I guess she wanted us both and no having one around made me undesirable." A laugh escaped him, he could no longer hold up the front of being a good guy trapped in an evil stallions body. "And I regret now killing all the horses I have come across so far." His voice had changed back to it's old gruff and anger filled way. His eyes twinkling with madness. "Including you. Just means more work for me once the herd sets its sight on this land. For we are death that walks the land, within our wake non stall stand."

"You poor thing." Ashia said softly. "I hope you find a mare who will want only you." She nodded. She had heard a story from a foal before that a strange stallion killed daddy and then mommy when she refused to come with him. It was sad this stallion had fallen vituim to that anger but it was the balance of things. He had learned that one could not be happy after such a thing, which was even sadder then the other's death, for she knew he would be in a better place while this stallion suffered forever.

His tone change and appearance change even, tipped the mare off. He was spiraling down like Thanos had. Oh bother, this might be more troublesome then before. Her pouch was still over by the tree and she'd have to get to it before she could run. Plus, he seemed more aware then Thanos, so him walking off was unlikely. Oh bother. "I see. You are planning to take over the land, then? Thank you for the warning. And I wish you luck. I do hope you don't kill everyone, you'll never expand your herd if you just kill. Then you could easily be taken over by a larger herd." She spoke simply and as calmly as she could. Honestly, it was a bit strange for such a small, innocent mare talking as she just had. But she was hoping now to just talk herself out of this new mess. Or figure out more information.

Rowan's shoulders slumped a bit as he dropped out of his intimidating pose into his more normal half slouching stance. "A mare who will want only me? What mare would ever want me now?" He questioned her and then immediately took it back. "No, don't even answer that. I don't want a mare, they are nothing but trouble." He shook his mane out, the hanging ropes dangling about as he did so.

He snorted at her next comment, for her to say such things was just stupid. "We will only rid the land of those who are deemed weak. As for larger herds, I don't see them being a problem, we cannot be killed, we are the undead, cursed to walk this land as neither the living nor the dead. Those who prove to be a benefit to our cause will be recruited into our ranks." Rowan stamped his foot to punctuate that fact. He hadn't run into many horses yet but he was sure he could find a few horses who would fit into the herds desire fro destruction and hopefully win a few points with Thanos by doing so. He didn't want to be an underling his entire life, he wished for a higher position in the herd. He had no intention of ever leading, he didn't have that much desire in him but he would do well to find a higher rank and gain the trust and respect of the others.

Ashia went to respond to his comment about a mare but shut it again. She had to sight a little at that. So much damage. She hope the mare who had caused him this trouble did not go without upset. Oh no, she didn't wish the mare to be hurt, or suffer, but she should feel guilty. Anyone who hurts another should feel sadness and guilt for what they had done. She nodded to herself.

She blinked at his next bit. Weak? And recruiting? Well it seemed they had it all figured out. That worried her a bit. "How will you know if someone is weak though? Someone with a sharp might look psychically weak, or someone who looks strong could be a coward. Those who talk innocently might be more powerful then you know. After all, for all you know, Rowan, I could be a force to be reckoned with. A strong little mare who can defeat someone twice my size." Of course that was a lie. She didn't like to lie, but she hoped she made her point. The little mare was weak, and frail, in the physical sense. After all that's why she had been abandoned.

Rowan turned his head a bit, looking out across the meadow as he thought on the mares question. How would they determine who was weak from the strong. A soft wind made his ropes wiggle about before he looked back at Ashia. "To be strong and a coward, well that is a useless combination...those who are like that will be destroyed. The weak but strong minded will fall under out hooves. Those who prove themselves as both physically and mentally strong in the battlefield will be deemed worthy to enter." At least that's how he saw it, should he come into a one on one battle with a horse that matches his strength and shows a quick mind, well chances are he wouldn't kill them in the end, but merely try to recruit them. Should they decline the offer to join the herd then he would kill them.

Letting out a snort Rowan narrowed his eyes. "You a force to be reckoned with? Don't be stupid." Giving a shake of his head. "You have foals for a living, that may make you physically strong but I doubt you have the heart to fight in battle. You would not kill someone in cold blood, nor would you be able to defend yourself in an attack with a much larger horse."

Ashia sighed and shook her head. "Rowan, Rowan, that is not a good way of thinking. The herd that abandoned me thought that I was to weak to live and yet here I stand, do I not? You can't just go around thinking things about others when you don't even know if its true or not. I might be no good in a fight but I am a strong mare, Rowan. I'm useful, even if my life's work seems pointless to you and your herd mates. I travel long distances alone. I have been in bad situations but I've got away unscathed. You can't just kill everyone who is bad in a fight. Don't you need people to care for young? To gather food with it is so cold that most food has died? Healers to heal those who are not dead? If your best fighter gets an infection in a wound you should better hope that someone can heal him. You've got a lot of ideas, and a lot of...enthusiasm... for your future. But you must not get brash and cocky, Rowan. It could prove a vary bad mistake." She nodded. Really it made no sense for her to sit here and try to talk to this stallion on ways to better take over the lands, but she couldn't help it really. The teacher in her kicked in and away she went, blabbing her little mouth off, and possibly talking herself into a corner.

Eye narrowed again as he stared down the smaller mare. "I died and went to Hell...and yet here I stand." He snarled at her. Did she think he could change his way of thinking just by explaining her pathetic little life to him. Absolutely not he told himself. The world didn't need horses like her, trying to save the weak and wounded. What the world needed was to fall under the hooves of the Hell Herd.

"You're damn right I have enthusiasm. I don't plan to side back and let others do all the work." He told her after a few moments pause. "So what if I get brash and cocky, if I make a mistake, I will just go back to Hell again. I have been there once, it won't be any different the second time around." Though honesty he had no intention of going back to Hell now or in the future. There was a damn good reason for him choosing to join the herd. He wanted another life to live, not like the one he had before and certainly not the one that so many others in the herd seemed to want, with families and happiness. No he came back to bring pain into this world, much like the pain he had suffered in his previous life.

Oh goodness, not again. She seemed to upset these hell horses so much, didn't she. She'd have to watch what she said a bit better from now on. It wasn't good to go upsetting everyone she met! Perhaps it was drawing time for her to take her leave once more. She didn't want to push this nice stallion all the way to furry like Thanos had been. After all Rowan might not walk off as he had...

"Well yes but don't you want to be out of hell? Isn't that why you came back?" She offered. "It would be counter productive to go back. And I'm sure Thanos would be upset to loose a valuable member of his herd." Oh she wasn't sure Thanos would, but it was worth a shot. "Now... why it is getting late isn't it?" She glanced at the tree she had been nosing in before. SHe might have to go away empty handed. And she still needed to go get some of her things... Her eyes glanced in their direction. Ahh, this wasn't to good.

Rowan snorted, he highly doubted that Thanos would remember if one of his herd members disappeared or went back to Hell. But the small mare did have a point, sort of. He was a valuable member of the herd, and he would do Thanos no good back in Hell. His eyes followed hers as she glanced back at the tree where he had first saw her. "I suppose it is getting late." He said, his eyes returning to her. "Go, get your precious things. Save foals while you can, because all too soon the herd will make it's move and I will not hesitate if I find you in my way again." Stamping his hoof to accentuate his point Rowan gave the mare one last nasty look before turning and beginning to walk off. She would probably thank him for sparing her life, but he hadn't really, he mentally marked her name and face on a list of horses to seek out and kill later. Her death would come soon enough.

Ashia shook her head as Rowan threatened her and turned to go. "It was nice to meet you. Thank you for the warning and good luck to you." She said warmly. She really hoped he saw the goodness in him that she did. He wasn't all bad. No. If he was, she'd be dead right now. But she was not, he had let her live on and told her to continue to do her duties, which opposed that of his herd's beliefs. She smiled to herself as she turned, leaving the tree and moving along to collect the things she had left behind. The poor thing. Hurt by so many, tortured, and under the rule of a vary real horse of Hell. She paused a moment and closed her eyes, wishing softly that at least some of the pain of his would be taken from him. She opened her eyes to glance back at his leaving form. "Good day to you, Rowan, and good luck." She said quietly as she got her things and headed on her way.
