A nod, but no answer at first due to her distraction. She was positive she hadn't named it! Her rattled brain was a mess most days, as was apparent enough to anyone paying attention.
She perked up when he came up with a name though, "Happyfoot sounds wonderful to me! Yes, he looks like a Happyfoot!" Last Whisper found herself very much enjoying this buck's company, which was weird to say the least. She had only once before truly enjoyed spending time with any other kimeti, at least... since she had grown into adulthood. She didn't remember much about her childhood, but she knew she had been much more social back then... but then what young thing isn't?
She shook her head when she realized she had zoned out there for a moment. He had said something earlier... his name! That's right! Her red eyes found his bright blue ones and she eagerly said, "Stargarden." Just to taste the word, before she continued, "Was that your name?"

"Happyfoot it is!" He glanced to the foxbun. "He seems to like it!"
It wasn't often Stargarden found himself in the company of someone else. He could remember good times under the moon and eating nettle, perhaps it was? It didn't matter now as he directly his attention back to the doe and nodded. "I think so, yes. Star... star... garden. Yes, that does sound right doesn't it? What is your name?"

Entirely happy with the name, she followed the buck's gaze when he glanced over to check on the foxbun. Well, he certainly wasn't arguing his new found name!
"It definitely matches your coat, in any case! It's like a... like a garden I suppose, of dancing stars, as if someone tore a bit of the sky and pasted it all over you!" Her head tilted to the other side as she looked him over and nodded. That definitely sounded like the right name for him. "My name? Oh! Well, it's Last Whisper, of course!" As if that was the most obvious thing in all the swamp. Her tail swished back and forth, brushing through the grasses behind her and her ears had relaxed, as she spoke to Stargarden. He wasn't going to take her Quickfoot, she was sure of it.

Stargaden looked at the sky as if looked for a hole in the sky and then he looked over his shoulder, and spun around in spot trying to see further. "It's all over me? I do not see a hole in the sky..." Without stopping his spinning he commented with an "...oh, Last Whisper? It is nice to meet you." And then he finally stopped. He couldn't see it.

She watched the handsome buck spin in circles as if he were chasing his own tail, though rather more accurately, he wasn't actually trying to catch his tail... but... see the sky...? But it was there on his coat! "Mhmm!" She said, reassuringly, "But we can't see the entire sky! And I'm sure it mends itself, for I do not see any holes in it either. I think your coat is lovely, Stargarden." Another soft giggle escaped the black doe. "Nice to meet you too, Stargarden!"

He didn't understand what she was saying, but his thoughts didn't say on one thing too long if he didn't have an idea so he looked at Last Whisper.
"Thank you." He didn't see how though, he was so rough and dirty, extra fur where fur shouldn't be and he had this white stuff on his coat that wouldn't come off! "Nice to meet you Last Whisper," he said with a pause and then looked to Quickfoot and Happyfoot, "and you too, Quickfoot and Happyfoot."

Another giggle! How girly of her! Last Whisper had never found herself behaving like this before, except... well she supposed she probably acted like this when she was a foal, or a filly, but... she couldn't pin any specific memories of it... Oh well!
Turning back to Stargarden, Last Whisper asked, "What brings you into this part of the swamp, Stargarden? Were you looking for Bites For Fun? Or something else, maybe?"

Stargarden had been looking for Bites For Fun, but apparently the thought or past had slipped his mind. He looked at Last Whisper, and then he looked back the way he came. He spun around and looked at the sky, the sky. Perhaps he had been seeking his moon? He was completely bewildered to what he had been doing up until now.
"My feet just moved here," he said, not explaining much else. It made sense to him.

Last Whisper watched the buck circle and apparently search for something. When he turned back around and spoke she listened, and then replied, "Feet seem to do that, don't they?" A soft laugh as she dipped her head. She noticed Happyfoot once more and realized that she should be getting them home!
"Could you help me bring them home?" She nodded towards Happyfoot, implying that perhaps Stargarden could pick him up. She picked up Quickfoot once more, and then stood up, turning back towards her den.

Stargarden nodded his head, still vaguely unsure of something, but it shortly passed when he turned his attention to Happyfoot. It didn't seem to want to move, such a lazy foxbun. He lowered his head and prodded his nose around until there was a place to gently grab the animal. He couldn't really speak at this point, and instead walked near the doe, his bright eyes saying: lead away.

Mouth full of skull, Last Whisper attempted to smile around Quickfoot and nodded once to show that she understood what he was 'saying' with his bright blue eyes. She began to walk back to where she had been earlier, her den. She weaved left and right around the trees and hopped from stone to stone as she went, not out of necessity, but out of absentminded routine.
Soon enough they had arrived at her den: a very large dead tree, still standing but hollowed out to make a sort of cave. The entrance was rather low (as she had spent many moons clearing it out as a small foal), so she had to duck her head when she leaned in to place Quickfoot alongside her other skulls.

Stargarden followed her almost face to a**. He barely weaved in and out of the trees, just barely scrapping against them. He was never that careful, going ways he shouldn't or trying to walk through trees. He made it though. He glanced around as Last Whisper put Quickfoot into the "cave". He tried to mimic her, but instead his face hit the tree, and against after several repetitions. How did she get it in there?

Last Whisper withdrew her head after placing Quickfoot carefully in line with the Others, and upon emerging once more, she took a few paces back to find Stargarden bashing his head into the trunk just next to the entrance.
Without saying anything, she quickly walked over to Stargarden's other side and nudged him over so that he stood in front of the entrance where she had been moments before.

Stargarden murmured something about this large buck in front of him and then lowered his head once more to finally not hit his head. He gently set Happyfoot down next to Quickfoot. He took a look at them all and grinned. "They're all so well behaved!"

Last Whisper just nodded when he murmured something about a buck, not that he could see her doing it, but she stayed silent as he ducked in and lay Happyfoot down next to the Others.
His comment almost made her glow. She couldn't help but smile and replied, "Most kimeti don't like them, think them scary. But here, they mostly just nap. They are my Treasures, my babies, so to speak, of course!" She giggled at the thought of them actually being her babies. Well that wouldn't work, now would it!
