Grayson wasn't entirely happy with Ignacio's decision, but he wasn't the type of man to push it. After all, when you tried too hard for one thing, you often ended up losing it; he felt that Ignacio knew he would be welcome, and if he felt he needed to, he would come back. He had Gray's address and phone number, so it wasn't like it would be difficult to reach him.
Well. If he was asleep when his phone rang, he might not wake up. But all things considered, if Topher could find a way into the house when he wanted to, Ignacio ought to be able to when he needed to.
Finished with his meal, Grayson rose, collecting his dishes as he went. He smiled easily across the table, noting that his parents were still engrossed in conversation. Tristan, however, happily stacked his dishes on top of the ones in Gray's hands.
"Thanks so much, Tris." Grayson gave his little brother a look, then glanced back to Ignacio. "It's my turn with dishes, so feel free to just bring them in whenever you're done."
So saying, he headed into the kitchen once more, donning a pair of yellow rubber gloves as he prepared the sink water. Though they had a dishwasher, it had been impressed upon Grayson at a very young age that he had to actually rinse the dishes before he put them in, otherwise they wouldn't get clean. Now it was just routine to him when he had to do dishes, and he began to hum, foot tapping along to the song stuck in his head as he began to scrub.

Ignacio was glad that they let it be, even if ... Van and Arthur were now busy talking to themselves as if they were scheming something about him. (He was the guest of honor, so it clearly had to be him.) He lifted his eyes from his food to give them a suspicious glance before he returned to eating, not letting himself being sighted as breaking character for even a moment.
No, as far as he knew, he still needed to keep the formal attitude shining. First impressions were the most important impressions--he at least knew that much and acknowledged it--and so he still needed to be on best behavior until the first impression time was over.
Even if that best behavior had already cracked with his mischievous remark to Tristan. "Thank you, Grayson," offered Ignacio, with a small smile. "I'll probably be eating a bit more before I bring my plate in, though." And just as he said that, Ignacio was already working on adding more food to his own plate.
Ignacio had his own song stuck in his head. If they were paying enough attention to him, they might notice he was chewing in a certain rhythm. If they looked under the table, he was no longer able to stop his feet from wiggling around and his legs were doing a full out, though contained dance even though he looked completely still above the table.
Staying completely still was not his strong point.

Slowly everyone began to filter in with their dishes, though by the time his parents brought theirs in, Grayson was openly singing along to the Backstreet Boys song that was tumbling around in his head. The dishwasher was propped open, dishes already stacked neatly inside, and it was nearing full from the day's breakfast and lunch dishes already. As soon as he got the last of the dishes, he'd be able to start it up and then go collapse on the couch, or something.
He was already getting a bit tired, all things considered. Grayson wasn't the type to stay up late for much of anything, but lately, he'd been doing more patrolling as Leo then he was used to. It was getting to him, and he was glad to have a night ahead of him that didn't have much aside from dreams in it.
From the living room, he heard the sound of one of the game systems fire up, and he wondered if Tristan had invited Ignacio to play or not. If he had, Grayson would end up wandering out there to see the inevitable death match via fighting game, he was sure.

Ignacio was the last to finish his food because he took a few unnecessary extra servings and kept distracting himself once the conversations were off him. At one point, he even thought about putting his earbuds in but decided not to since they were sound-cancelling, and if anyone wanted to address him he wouldn't've been able to hear them.
After he handed his plate over to Grayson, he headed off to the bathroom and went out of sight. Sure, he did stick around a few moments after they ate dinner, but he didn't want to overstay his welcome and he had a horrible feeling someone was going to block him so he did overstay his welcome. So, it was time to leave.
First, he made sure he thanked Van and Arthur for a wonderful dinner. Next, he walked off to the bathroom again. Then, he located where his coat had gone, and finally, Ignacio stuck his earbuds in his ears and headed out the door.
Time to explore some nightlife!
