Nekojiri Quote: Time Restrictions on Bloodline Abilities. Based on power of ability and member rank. i.e. Sharingan Eye; Chuunin level: Usable once a week for ten consecutive posts. i.e. Sharingan Eye; Kage (5) level: Usable once a two days for twenty consecutive posts..........Also maybe put a limit on the amount of certain Bloodline abilities we'll accept, because it seems that everyone and their dog have the Sharingan, all of a sudden. I agree, and I think some people outta consider the Hyuuga (SP?) Bloodline from Naruto... it's similar to the Sharigan and the main differance is that it doesn't allow you to imitate other ninja's moves...and a bonus is that it allows you something like a 360 degree view of your surroundings.... Just a thought.........

I'm thinking, with most transformations, a 2 week to month long timer, but it can be used for however long it needs to be.

Transformation due to what? Magical or Biological?
Certainly Biological would influence the amount of time. Considering the amount of energy needed to transform the biological characteristics would put an enourmous drain upon an individuals body. Especially the transformation back.
But with magic I'll need to think on it.

I joined before knowing what bloodlines (or Naruto at all, for that matter) were, so I don't think I have this issue. Still, now that I do know, there does need to be a limit. It should be part of the application, maybe? Whether or not whoever it is plans on having a bloodline jutsu?
As for the current ones...I don't know. It almost has to be decided individually.
...Unless you all want to start calling Nyl's phoenix-ness a bloodline thing. ...It isn't, but I don't quite know all the rules about that yet. And I guess, if Drake's is, then so is mine.

Could I make a second character Neko? Because I ould love to make a Aburame character. I could even come up with restrictions on them as well if you would like.

yes there should be restrictions, however it would probably be best if you could restrict things by roleplay examples....such as by saying someone who either puts a 2 page bio or has demonstrated greater RP skill on a more preferable stage than say...someone who posted a 2 sentence bio/hasn't demonstrated as much RP skill....get what I mean?
also, would Sage's use of psionic abilities count as bloodline? because the way I figured, it would be like the difference of an english knight and a japanese samurai, both have completely different base fighting styles, but could probably learn to use the other style effectively....like, chakra use and ninja powers would be using your body soul and mind whereas psionics would be mind and soul, as would magic.....right?

I agree with everything Sagetim said. But, I also have an opinion on his question. I think that they should be limited similarly, but with his etiquette, judging by his post and others I've seen, he should get a nearly ulimited use of them, but they would still slowly wear on him and exhaust him.

Okay, i think that Nobody should have any bloodline techniques unless there completly original to that character's family, instead of clining Bayukagun's and Sharinguns. If people want a Cannon bloodline then they better have a good as hell story or reason to, or a good as hell story leading up to the point of reiciving. I have no problem with another Kakashi incident like thing goin', but i just don't like people taking things from the series that were supposed to be Completly original, and only meant for that ONE Character, it's almost insulting to the creator. O.o; Also a Time period comes into play, if this takes place after the whole Naruto Saga thing, then sure, i guess you could give reason as to how Sauseke or Itatchi got a little to happy at a bar one night or something, but that would be really, really, really unlikely. Atop of that, Other Bloodline Family's are incredibly picky, like Neji's, i mean, they Inbreed! gonk

Mhm. We just need to decide on what exactly to do with Bloodlines.
I should have some spare time..I'll get to work on compiling a list of the bloodlines I'm familiar with, and what I think should be the restrictions on them. More on this at 10.
