Let's see...
Codus mentioned he'll be putting up his whuddletar preview when he can ^^ He also mentioned a companion..interesting...
Lyrael told us that Elder Kaitler and her team of designers are in charge of the graphics, one being our very own kawaiihannah!

The Christmas 2005 Event, Find Santa, will be ending either today or tomorrow! MAKE SURE TO FIND HIM NOW IF YOU HAVEN'T YET!

More info on the Holiday trivia has been added ^^ It will be ending Midnight on the 23rd which is actually an hour from this post. While it's midnight for me, Whuddle World goes by CST time which is an hour behind EST :3 It's currently 11PM to them.
Lyrael posted that the results will be known on Monday, the 26th, and more events will follow ^^ So keep on the look-out!

FINISHED! Yes, I have finished updating the items for the 25th. I'm pretty sure there are no more then the 4 and I found out the names of the three cookies.
More items will probably be coming though for the "Holiday Trivia" forum and New Years :3

I'm back again and this time with the news you've all been anxiously waiting to hear...what's going on with quests and shops!!! (And a few other features) But first, here's a very BIG overview of what to expect between now and March '06*

QUESTS and SHOPS Info [12/29/05 08:12:04 PM]
QUESTS:
Quests will come in many 'shapes' and 'sizes' - everything from random occurences that you happen upon as you wander around WhuddleWorld, to full blown events that can take hours and even days to complete. Perhaps one of the Elder's needs your help to find a lost kitten, or maybe a local shopkeeper wants to hire you to help fill his or her back orders or maybe you find a letter on the ground and need to return it to the addressee...the possibilities (and opportunities) will be limitless!!
The benefits for completing tasks, jobs and quests will also be limitless - ranging from straight-forward whuddlebean rewards, rare items and trophies to special quest Awards or maybe even a new TITLE for your Whuddle!
I'm sure as we get closer to launching the QUEST SYSTEM, Elder's Brogen, Codus and Sarukie will be updating you with even more details about what to expect - so keep a close eye on the 'Dev Notes' and 'Changes' topics too!
SHOPS (and BANKING):
Shops and shopping on WhuddleWorld are really parts of a larger system that also includes banking, many enhancements to the inventory system, personal vaults and the ability to rent space to host your own personal shops!
There will be many different types of shops, each of them specializing in a wide variety of items - from new clothes and accessories for your Whuddle to Salons and Boutiques for the bold and daring who want to create a whole "new look"! You'll soon be able to by new stickers for your Private Forums, new skins for your omnibus and even special interactive items such as kits you can use to craft your own unique accessories and other items!
And once again, I'm positive that Elder's Brogen, Codus and Sarukie will be sharing many more details with you all as they finish up the final touches on the Shops and Banking systems!
Hope this quick bit of info on quests and shops helps - hang in there - they're coming soon!

New Whuddle World event! Quote: Change Log: January 4th [01/04/06 03:05:46 PM] Snowball Event! Great fun for Whuddles of all ages, when you visit the WhuddleWorld world map you have a chance to get a snowball to throw. Throwing a snowball will hit a comletely random target who is currently on the system. If you are hit the snowball will melt off of you in about 4 hours time. Check your Whuddle's Omnibus ID card to see your current snowball stats! Inventory System Improvements: * There is now an "Examine" function for every object in your inventory, over the coming weeks this function will continue to expand and grow. The Examine Item routine now takes priority as the default action when you left click on an item in your omnibus, to bring up the item interaction menu be sure to still Right-Click on the item. * Some items (currently only your snowball related items) will now decay over time, if you see an item fading out and check its examine screen it will tell you how many perent the item has decayed by. * Some items (currently only the puddles from snowballs) will have a quantity associated with them, the quantity of the item you have will appear in the bottom right corner of the icon for the object in your omnibus and will be displayed on examine. Please be sure to follow previously posted tips on clearing your browser cache if you have difficulties with any of these functions.
