"He's a prince. And he ice skates." Maggie said with a nod. "Daddy's got lotsa brothers though. Uncle Chet let me help him fix his car."
The blonde man nodded, "I'm Vance, it's a pleasure to meet you, though I wish it were in better circumstances." he told her as they neared where the pair were, he let out a small sigh of relief. At least they hadn't run off.

"Prince of where?" Iggy asked curiously, he didn't think gaia had princes and princesses " Are you a princess then?"
Again Blaice nodded, smiling when she spotted Iggy " Is it wrong that I'm tempted to get one of those harnesses until he's older?"

"Sounds reasonable to me." the man commented before striding towards the children.
"Cazari." she said with a nod. "It's got pranci-princi-pr-pr-"
"Principalities?" Vance suggested, walking over to join his daughter.

Iggy wasn't surprised the girl couldn't say that big world he didn't think he could either. Instead he confused on hugging his mother and looking up at her with innocent eyes so she wouldn't yell at him. " Did you know he's a prince that sparkles?."
"Is that so?" Blaice murmured in response to Iggy while petting his hair. She was just happy he was safe but he was seriously getting a talk when they went home later.

Maggie smiled and went over to hug Blaice around her knees. "Hi mommy!" she greeted happily.
Vance's eyebrow shot up, the other one lowering. "Hm?"

Blaice just stared at the small strange footed girl, why had she called her that? "Little one I'm Iggy's mommy" she corrected gently.

"You're mine now too!" she laughed, "Iggy hasn't got a Daddy and I haven't got a mommy so we're gonna share you two!" it was explained in such a matter-of-fact tone that Vance almost felt obliged not to argue. He just made an expression of accepting that it really wasn't going to be his decision in the matter - his daughter had decreed he was to be shared, so he would be.

Blaice paused for a moment as she absorbed this information and upon getting no rejection of the idea from Vance she nodded slowly. " I see, alright then." It was sort of cute and yet also a little bit distressing, was she doing so bad a job as a single parent that Iggy felt the need to latch on to a stranger just so he could have a male influence in his life? She was still the authority figure in the household and also the one he came running too during thunderstorms, was this not enough?
Unaware of the thoughts he'd put in his mother's head Iggy just smiled up at Vance " You can teach me skating?" Given that all he knew about his nee father was that he was a skating prince who sparkled Iggy was somewhat limited in asking him to do fun things with him untill he knew what else the adult could do.

"Sure, though I'm sure your Mommy could too." he said pleasantly, smiling down at Iggy. Might as well be nice to him right? The kid hadn't done anything wrong, afterall. From his perspective, he felt that the young ones had just felt having two parents was normal, so sharing parents was deemed normal.
Noticing out of the corner of his eye that Blaice seemed a little off, he reached out to pat her shoulder. "Come on, why don't I take you guys for cocoa?"

"That would be nice" the angel admitted. It wasn't like the children were paying any attention to the lights at this point anyways. Some smile hopelessly childish part of the woman's brain pointed out that Vance seemed to be very much the perfect charming prince she'd always wanted. The rational and mature part of her brain however worked quickly to silence it, this was not the time for such thoughts, she had others things to contemplate right now.
Iggy just shrugged not really caring either way and went back trying to get his spirit lights to dance around Maggie and himself.

Vance nodded and smiled, "I think I passed a shop for it nearby. Shall we?" he inquired, offering Blaice his arm. It wasn't a common thing to do these days but it was how he'd been raised.
Maggie grinned and reached out to poke the lights.

Blaice blinked in surprised for a moment before looping her arm with his. Okay aside from several moments of heart attack with Iggy tonight wasn't going too badly. " perhaps having fuller stomachs will calm the young ones down" she suggested. Not that the drinks weren't sugar filled and thus making things worse but she'd always found a full belly prevented her from having the urge to be rambunctious when she was younger.
Iggy smiled as he followed the grownups "Does your hand feel tingly now?" he asked

Maggie nodded profusely. "Yes, all tingly." she agreed.
Vance turned his head lightly, "Maggie, will you and your friend come stay up by the front? I don't want you getting lost or left behind by mistake." he said calmly. The girl nodded, grabbing Iggy's hand. "Come on, to the front!"

Iggy nodded pleased it wasn't just him that got the weird tingling and that they got to walk up front. The little will o the wisp did prefer to lead, even if he had no clue where he was going.

As they walked, Vance would occasionally direct the kids when they were turning, and eventually the little group made it to a small, warm looking shop that sold cocoa. It was cute, sort of like a fairytale winter cottage, and the door had a hand carved wooden sign that read "Open" and the letters were painted in white to stand out against the brown.
Maggie grinned, "Ooh! I wonder if they have cookies!"
