Vincent looked down at his wrist; apparently his team was approaching their location. The smell almost certainly indicated to him that a robot was nearby. He pressed the soft buttons on his communicator, not wanting to make the robot aware of him, and sent the message to his team leader: "Mr. Weinberg, we are under industrial ground. I think robot here. Come quick."

He carefully leaned over to the construction guy and quietly, barely breathed the words.
"it's tunneling underground somehow....."
He tried to time it with the occasional breeze that usually flowed through underground areas towards a surface exit such as where they were located.

((Oh, and I'll ask this before the rest of our team arrives. Arcturus, do you want to set up an official posting order, since it looks like many people will soon arrive?))

Matthias was almost getting winded from all this running. He really wasn't in the best shape, being more of a businessman than a soldier. Still, he perservered as they entered from the Downtown Underground. He replied a text message to his other teammates.
Near your location now. Will try to meet ASAP. What is status of target?

Phase 3, at minimal level. Continue work.
The burning, and pounding didn't stop. It seemed as you timed it, that the pounding was happening every 10 seconds. The burning smell however, was always a constant. The intensity of the strikes never increased or decreased. They were most likely therefore holed up in one spot, and using some tool that delivered equal power to every blow.

Martian was the next to come out of the hole, finishing off walling of the hole with moss after the last of his allies managed to exit the tunnel. He smiled looking around, "Where are you guys?" he laughed "We ditched one robot, we need to make sure we get one of them."
(( I request to go last in turn order))

[[Ill be after Kami.]]
The pounding increased, as a thousand three-inch tall soldiers marched in perfect step ahead of Wienberg and Co. Raising a bit of dust from the subway floor.
Target? Where?

Gabriel entered from the west, presumably with Julian and his other transmuted teammate in the form of a dagger. An acrid odor reached his nose, as if he had just entered a construction yard.
"Aww...man, that's horrible."
Gabriel moved his arm in front of his nostrils, wincing from the burning sensation that crept in through his sinuses.
"It definetly -smells- like he ran this way."
He could feel a gentle 'pound', which reoccured a few moments later. Somewhat disturbed by this new revelation, Gabriel's left hand rose, gloved fingers peeling his sunglasses away and setting them carefully within a compartment upon his suit.

((Okay, those that entered from Downtown. You're closer to the train. This is in reference for you.))
Up ahead in the red glow of the lights, is a dead train. There were a few in the subway, so that wasn't so strange.
What was strange, was that it was on the southbound track towards Downtown. And where the track next to it should have been was a pool of dark water. No telling how deep it was, without getting your feet wet. It stretched from the front of the train, all the way to the back.
Inside the train, occasional flashes could be seen, yellow and red. Though they were faint. Suggesting whatever was causing them, was towards the middle of the train, rather than towards one side.

"Well this is just a trip into paradise isn't it?"
Sarcasm, this guy had alot of it apparently. Two fingers worked hard to keep his nostrils pressed closed with his left hand. His right rested on the heft of one of the axes at his hip. He might have appeared extremely confident were it not for his long tail of sandy brown hair being soaked.
Which made it turn into a very dark brown. Which made him look like a rat.
Oh how things had a way of working out sometimes...
As Gabriel stopped, so did Julian, though a bit behind and to the side. Only then did he hear the pounding that had eluded him before.
"Company comes..."

((Damn, Don't tell me everyone is just going for arc now... damn it... I had first dibs on him...))
Kane sighed as he walked through the tunnels. He stumbled and almost tripped on one of the subway tracks but he kept his footing. "Watch your step..." He mumbled and looked down the tunnel.
