((Uh... I was actually planning to have him accompany you guys and help you out a bit, but sure, if you want to fight, you want to fight. You should probably know now, then, that Mac is a shape-shifter. xd ))

((We've noticed, but if you want to help you can try to convince us that you are unhostile, but for now... well this is war after all and we aren't inclined to be trusting without acts of reassurance.))

((Nah, there's not really much way he can reassure you guys if he can't talk, but he's not going to be the first to attack. Anyway, I'm waiting for the posts of the other guys.))

"Right..." Nascen took his gun off his shoulder, holding it to it's firing position and looking about. He'd have to take hallway or room... "I'll cover the room." he said, readying the firearm and moving to his position, raising it and standing ready, though pressed against a wall so he wasn't so easy a target as standing it it's middle. "Forgive me if I am about to sin, Lord..." he whispered. Killing. He hated it, only in defense...

Alan moved into the room alongside his teammate. He took his gun from the back of his belt and held it at the ready. "Piece of cake." He said. More to reassure himself than anyone else. "We may not even have to kill him. Perhaps he dosent mean to hinder us." Alan backed into a corner where the cieling above had broken and fallen in. There were two chairs nearby. If worse came to worse he could hop up through the hole.

Nodding he moved down to the end of the hall, he lay his flamer along the wall on one side where he sat prone. Shouldering the rifle he waited as he knelt, three shoots, that's how many chances he would have to take down anyone that came through. Searching out beneath the floor with his mind he moved over what was there. If something moved he would know.

((Nah, changed my mind. If you guys want to shoot him, sure, but you'll only get your arses kicked. biggrin )) The machine placed itself in clear view of the stairwell and the rooms, and peered into the area, where it saw all of his enemies, fully armed and waiting for action. They didn't appear to be stupid, but neither was Macro. After a few more moments of evaluting the situation, it just turned to face the way it was going, and started to walk off, leaving the humans behind.

Fischig and Alan were in position, and so was he, up against the wall and ready to fight or flee. He drained Alan's energy slowly; only the magic energy, not physical. He was not capable of magic, so he wouldn't need it. And then something came to him. "Human's almost always have metaphysic energy, if they're alive, at least a tiny bit, even ones who can't use it like you two. But... that thing had no metaphysic energy at all. Empty. It's not alive, whatever it is, and not human. There should have been at least a sliver of energy, even if there was not enough left to use, so it can't be alive..." suddenly he no longer felt repulsed by the gun in his hands.

Shouldering the rifle he picked up the flamer, the ignition flicker as a small flame burst to life infront of the nozzle. The purifying flame would burn today. With his mind he reached out to the stairs and tore away the support structure, pulling nails and screws from their joints the stairs collasped underneath the one who had come up. Moving before the stair well he sent a burst of flame after the falling figure before he fell back behind the cover of the wall. "Open fire you bastards." he commanded the rest of his team.

((I'm emberassed I missed it the first time OOC, all this relative haste has made me clumsy. I usually would have caught that the first time.))
Running the edge of where everything had fallen, he aimed down and began to open fire on the thing below, hoping to score a descent amount of hits, using bursts for more accuracy and less loss of ammo.

Alan ran out of the room. "Fire in the hole!" Alan shouted as he ripped the pin out one of the High Explosive grenades he had on the back of his belt. He threw the grenade over the commander's head and down where the staircase had been a second ago.

Seeing the grenade go over, he ducked and ran back away from the collapsing staircase, retreating to just behind Fischig and Jacknife, checking his gun and awaiting another movement.

((Wait, what? I hope the falling figure isn't the bot, 'cos he didn't go anywhere near the stairs. He moved infront of them, looked at you lot, then moved on.))

((That's not fessible, you looked into an area where the only way you could see those in the room would be if they where at the top of the stairs which they weren't, so you had to be on the stairs to see them, the same goes the other way. For them to see you you had to be on a higher elivation then the bottom of the steps.))
