"Of course I have friends! Although I dont think they're having the same problem I have. On the contrary, they probably don't give a penny's worth about killing. Which is quite scary, actually." Serandite said, thinking of Tisiphone and Valleriite. The rest were quite debatable. Serandite would consider them friends but she didn't know whether they thought the same or not.

"Yep. And absolutely sure that I'll get a death penalty for quitting. You guys? Not that you would want to quit but I doubt there's everlasting effects such as mine. Meager negaverse agents like me don't get reborn, you know?" She sighed. She liked life. Definitely. Perhaps that could be a reason to go on-- a cowardly reason. But to live, she would need to continue her job.

She didn't want to die at Beryl's hands. Nope. The thought of dying-- she didn't want to contemplate it.

Fight for the people she cared about. Hm. How would fighting for the negaverse save them? Sure, she got fancy powers but those powers werent mean for protecting after all. "Seems like a senshi reason to me. Your powers are given for you to protect and my power is given to me to hurt people. I suppose I can protect them with my abilities." She stared at one hand uncertainly.

She seemed to debate on how to respond to Virgo's question without betraying the negaverse, she struggled with her choice of words. "Ahh-- Well. Your zodiac guard is back, right? You're a zodiac so that simply proves the matter. If you consider the fact that you aren't taking a long vacation at the tropics and what Kunzite said.. He said that unlike you guys, us negaverse don't come back. It's not hard to piece together that you're reborn." She made a box gesture, both hands formed in the shape of an "L" to make a complete box.

"So you've died once. Wow, that must have been painful. I admire you for getting back up after that. I a-almost got killed once. I was let go.. with my eyes both painfully jabbed. But since then, I've been really scared of death." Everytime she traced her thoughts back to Kunzite, an invisible cold seemed to come over her. Or perhaps, it was just the bitter taste of fear. Later, Serandite would pierce together that Charonite had previous experience with the zodiac-- and figure out, once again, out of the loop of information.

She could. Serandite needed to get better. Better enough to at least defend herself in next run-in with Kunzite. If there was a next one. But Serandite refused to be so weak. She wouldn't let Kunzite take away any more of her allies. Serandite had never met Nova but she had heard that the girl was such a sweetie. (Who wouldn't be, writing little notes for negaverse agents and patting people on the head?) She refused to let anymore of her allies be taken away. She could defend them as Virgo had said. Sure, she may be evil, but Serandite had friends she didn't want dying at the hands of someone like Kunzite- or worse, out there.

Serandite suddenly realized that sometimes, sentimentality was a good thing. Serandite had never been the one who cared for it much but Virgo's brief hug was too comforting for words. "I suppose it does. You know, you're not really bad for a senshi. I still don't approve your powers or your pacifist personality though." Notice that Serandite had said "approved" rather than the word "disliked."

She held Virgo's hand, their cold hands meeting. "Virgo, when you say you'll lay down your life for your princess, you do mean that as a last resort, right?" She smiled hesitantly, brown eyes questioning.

"Well, I can't fault you for that. That's strange. I always thought senshi chose their powers, you know? But if you didn't choose it, that puts an entirely different light on things." She held out her hand in a fist-bump with Virgo with a large grin.

"Unstoppable zodiac huh? That sounds like quite the challenge. As long as you don't die on me before our rematch, we're all good." Serandite giggled,feeling quite light-hearted on the matter. She should be worried that there was double-powered senshi in the neighborhood but couldnt bring herself to at the moment.

"Thanks for taking the time to talk to a negaverse like me. It's not often you'll find a senshi that would even consider the thought, you know?" Serandite said sincerely, fishing around in her pockets for something. She took out a perfectly round candy, wrapped in a light blue wrapper. She held it out in the open palm of her hand, indicating for Virgo to take it.

"It's soda flavor. It's just a candy but take it as my thanks." As people often learned, Serandite wasn't often found without her bunny or some sort of candy on hand.

Mutually, Serandite decided that Virgo was okay. She wasn't as wimpy as weak as Serandite had originally thought after all. Serandite was a bit sad to see their truce come to an end as well. But being on opposite sides, it could only last for so long.

"We'll see about that." Serandite murmured, handing the kitten over to Virgo. "Probably you. If I'm caught giving a kitten to the shelter, I'll be the laughingstock of the negaverse." She eyed the kitten with one last wistful gaze, a soft mew escaping the kitten as it left the warmth of Serandite's arms and into Virgo's.

"I've gotta be going. If I'm caught out this late, who knows what those dorm teachers might do?" Serandite made a disgusted face, shaking her head in dismissal. Skye knew she sneaked out. So it was no problem getting back into her room because her roommate left the door unlocked. "Next time, make sure you have an offensive guy with you, okay? Fair terms next time." Serandite didn't want to hit Virgo when you know-- uh, she clearly had no offensive powers. She waved at Virgo. Hop, step, jump!

And she disappeared into the snowy distance.
