That felt great! It didn't matter that what she was saying probably went in one ear and out the other, Tara still felt fantastic and wanted to show it. Unfortunately, it looked like the practice was winding down. No matter, she could always just cartwheel in the hall if it came to that.
"Could cheering really have an impact on dental hygiene? I'll have to check that out." While she was smiling, Tara was also serious and already planning an experiment around that theory. Just as she was wondering what the control would be, she was bluntly reminded that she'd been talking to this girl without even knowing her name. Oops.
Since her right hand was holding the pompom, Tara at first offered her left, but then changed her mind and shifted the pompom over. Despite the wishy-washy offering, her grip was fairly strong. "Ellie, right. I'm Tara. I'll, uh, see you around?"
Her tone was uncertain. Unlike Barren Pines, where everyone supposedly knew everyone, Meadowview was a big public school. She wasn't entirely sure she would see Ellie around, but she hoped so.

Not bad, not bad the blonde mentally chuckled at the handshake. "Tara, huh? It was nice runnin' into ya I guess. And, don't think too hard about that 'dental hygiene' thing, 'kay?" With a grin, she pushed herself up and waved to the new acquaintance.
"Yeah, see ya!" With a wave, she literally dashed down to the field to meet up with the soccer team. If one didn't know any better, it would have almost looked like Ellie was meeting up with a boyfriend or something. She didn't do the boyfriend thing. There'd be fist bumps all around, and as if she was one of the guys, she wandered towards the direction of the locker room. She'd be waiting outside until Zuniga was done getting cleaned up, but by the end of the ordeal, she'd still end up getting some free food.
Free food was the best kind you ever could get.
Ever.
