Hitori Hisou ((I would be more than pleased to let you join. I'm not sure what sort of form you need, so I will just go ahead and add you both to the list.)) ((Thank you very much, master Hitori-sama. Please tell me if you rather have me play my character Ao-sagi (21 years old, unusually tall -5'11''-, pale skin, grey-green eyes, a bit tomboyish, decent dancer and percussionist) or another that you specify. Since I am on european time, I will probably be posting when everybody else is asleep, I hope this is not too much of an inconvenience.))

((You may both post as you wish, and you may use either your character or another (I think they prefer you use the one you joined with). I work on more of the Japanese time myself, thought I live in the US Eastern zone. I'll try to meet up with you at some point. Both of you need to let me know you are going to be maids or servants.))

Sayuri smiled. "I'm sure they would cause your fine establishment no harm, sir. After all...we are creatures of the arts and everything we do, even if it seems harmful at the time, is all in the name of art. The patron would think it were merely an act," Sayuri explained. "Though, I know most of the nearby geisha and maiko well enough to know that they will cause no ruckus that is unpleasant."
Sayuri took a small sip of the tea once it had cooled.

Hitori lowered the tray of fruits to the table, and nodded at the woman's words. "I don't really think they would cause any trouble, but with this being neutral ground, I'd like the seperate okiya to keep their disagreements outside of this place."
Hitori sipped his tea, wondering if the lady should like to play a round of chess, or if she had something of importance on her mind. He looked her over and marked her beauty, and decided she must have several wealthy patrons. This however only served to remind him that in a district with such beautiful women, he might not find many patrons of his own.

((If it is o.k. with you, Sayuri, I would like to play my regular character here. Maybe she can be "lent" to the inn to fill up gaps in the staff and to get some experience in entertaining and serving patrons. I am sorry, but I do not know what the difference between a maid and a servant is... would you please elaborate? Or you can just tell me what needs to be done in general and I will improvise from that point on.))

Sayuri giggled. "We are quite friendly with each other's okiya, so far. I hope it stays that way, though I know the sweetness of milk tends to sour, even with age."
Sayuri took another sip of tea. Yes. This man rivaled her own beauty as a geisha, but Sayuri would not let that discourage her. He was kind and deserved as many patron as he received. After all, the inn would secure his living expenses for the rest of his life.
"The weather has turned a little warmer than usual, this winter. I do hope that it stays so beautiful outside. Before we know it, the geisha will no longer blend in with the snowflakes."
