Edes continued to stroke the top of Kaleb's head, giggling as smiled. "Sweet Dreams, Kaleb.."
When Vinny began to speak, Edes nodded. "I think.. I want to be a preschool teacher one day. I've always loved little kids.. My father works in a children's hospital, so I was around them since I was one. And it is always better to sleep with something.. It's a comfort to know that someone you trust will be with you when you sleep. It keeps you secure."
"Ah.. Cody.." Edes almost blushed when he was mentioned again. He really did care for the Patience/Greed boy.. "That sounds like a good time~ "

"I think you'd be good at that," Vincent said, after thinking a moment. "My mom's a teacher, too." He silently thought that children were not something you could be experienced with just by being around them; otherwise he would have had plenty of experience, with his younger siblings. "I think I want to be..." The greed spawn paused, and looked at his younger brother. He smiled. "Well, first I want to be a student; you know, go to college and stuff. Then maybe I'll be--well. Something that keeps things safe. Like treasure. But I like being around people, too... So I don't know what to choose."
Vincent wasn't exactly oblivious to Edes' expression when he mentioned Cody. "You really like him, don't you?" he asked. Who was he to judge? He liked someone too. "We could hang out at an icecream place maybe."

"Do you really think so? I'd love to teach children.. But then when I have my own, I want to stay at home for a while.. And I think... Everyone who has a goal to go farther in life needs to be a student at some point, right? We need to further our.. Uh.. Education first, so that when we do get there, we know what we're doing."
What he said was true, atleast, he'd like to think so. He shifted a bit, holding him very delicately.
Another dark blush dusted his cheeks. "Yes.. I do... He's.. The most important person in the world to me.." He wasn't afraid to say it, for it was true. Cody was like the sun to him, something he needed everyday, and even when the clouds rolled by, he would always return.
"Icecream, Do you know of any good places to go to?"

"Yeah, I really do. You seem to be good with Kaleb, anyway," Vincent said easily. "I know how you feel though, about kids. When my mom had my little sisters, she took a while off work. Several months, really. But she was sick after she had them, so... Mostly my older brother and I helped take care of them." He paused and nodded at the boy's next statement. He agreed with him. There wasn't much else he could say, really.
"I have an important person to me, too," Vinny said, giving the boy a smile. "Her name's Lissy. I don't think she knows it yet--but she's always been important to me. First like a little sister, you know, because she was my little sisters' best friend, and then she was my friend, and then..." The humility spawn blushed. "I started really liking her." It was hard for him to talk about it, being humility. "Oh, ice cream. Basken Robins is always good."
