Dysi smiled lightly back at her departing figure."I wish you a happy life," Dysi called out softly after her, knowing it was unlikely that she would hear him as she walked away. Such a soft soul, he thought, eyes gentle as he watched her go.

She was a wonderful person, but so quiet. So used to pretending that she was no one. Dysi didn't think she was, and Dysi was sad to see her go. He would have loved to spend more time with her, try to convince her that she was pretty, that she did deserve to smile, but that would be pushing too much, too soon.

He didn't even know her name, but he wanted her to be happy. "Have a happy life," he repeated to himself. He sighed, and turned away, her figure disappearing from his sight. He wondered where her pride was, what it was like, but he didn't think to follow her, he had other things to do with his life, just as she did.

He smiled. He hoped he would meet her again, and that when they saw each other again, she would be happy. He began to hum to himself, as he walked away, his mood somber but pleased.
