Poor Atlas had a stuttering problem, Virgo finally noticed. Again. She had been staring at him, trying to discern why he was talking like that, and. Well. She'd hit her head, okay? It wasn't like she was ignoring poor Atlas or anything. Thinking about that brought a very different thought to the forefront, and she said, "Atlas, this is my brother, Leo."
Her injuries were pretty much as she had said; the hand looked pretty mauled, full of glass fragments, but it was her off hand. The more questionable wounds looked deep, but they didn't seem like they would need stitches. Which was good; she was a minor and couldn't be admitted to a hospital without informing her parents. That would necessitate a call to Gramma Arma at the least, and no one wanted a visit from Virgo's grandmother because Virgo had gotten hurt. (Otherwise, she was a bearer of hand-crocheted afghans and sweaters. Occasionally she brought cookies, too.)
Unfortunately, looking at her hand seemed to break Virgo's assumed calm; her shaking, which hadn't ever really stopped, intensified and she started to hyperventilate--so she dropped her arm, but that didn't seem to help. She did hear Leo prompting her, and she nodded--then, shook her head, as if confused at the question. "I'm happy you're okay," she said, in a small voice full of hesitations and pauses. "Don't feel bad... please?"
That was really all she could manage. The blood was freaking her out; she wanted to go home and stop having to fight herself to hold her henshin...

Her brother...
That bit of information surprised Atlas a little when he thought about it. Were they really related that way -- could a senshi have siblings, family members? He knew Elzo had a younger brother, but as far as he knew Marlo was a normal person. Maybe it was because he was an only child, but the concept of senshidom running in a family seemed really strange.
Nevermind that Alcyone was like a sister to him.
Being prompted by Leo and Virgo both to not feel guilty made things... difficult, to say the least. Although it would have made life infinitely easier if he had the capacity to shut off an emotion in such away, there no mental off switch for how he was feeling about this entire situation. But -- he'd already worried Virgo and Leo enough, bothered them enough --
"Okay," he resigned himself to saying. "Sorry."
Again.

Leo didn't want to send the male senshi home on his own, but it was out of the question to lead him back his own house. He not only had Virgo's identity to protect, but his, and also his family's. If Atlas was the be trusted, then it would be fine, but if he was not? It was too much to risk. Leo might have been reckless with himself in battle, but he was never reckless with those he loved, not if he could absolutely help it.
So, he hoisted Virgo up, holding her bridal style. Had he not been a dancer and stronger than he looked, the move would have been difficult. "Please be careful on your way home. I wish I could take you, but I have to take care of my sister."
His voice wasn't unkind, and he truly did wish he could see Atlas to wherever he needed to go. He seemed to be in better shape than Virgo, though, and no matter what, his loyalty would always be to his sister over a senshi he'd met that day.

She'd think more about this later--what she would remember--and probably decide that Atlas needed a lot of hugs. A ridiculous amount of hugs, really. (It would happen; she'd definitely be determined about that.)
Being picked up shouldn't have surprised her, but it did; she squeaked, buried her face in Leo's chest again, uninjured hand over her mouth. Were they leaving Atlas? Poor guy, she was going to worry about him all day, maybe. Most of the day. All of it? A while, anyway, until they caught up again. But her brother was smart at this, and she knew enough about herself to trust Leo when he made decisions.
"Bye-bye," she said to Atlas, "see you."

"It's okay," Atlas said, to Leo. "I understand. Th-thanks for coming by to g-get her."
Not that it had been anything more than an extremely fortunate chance encounter, but still. He was grateful he and Virgo had ended up running into someone who could take care of her. Otherwise he wasn't sure what might have happened, if he'd let her down on the street being in the state she was in.
"S-s-s-see you," he mumbled to their retreating forms, watching for a moment until they were out of sight. He earnestly hoped he would see Virgo again, otherwise he would never be able to stop worrying.
