"Sounds like a date." She grinned, leaning back into the arm of the couch. "It doesn't really matter what movie it is, since I haven't seen alot of them. So, just pick some good ones." Depending on if they had other dates, of course. Peeling back the layers of a date were just two people hanging out, she concluded. That helped with her nerves. "Besides, I'm sure you already have a girlfriend...or a boyfriend. I don't want to make them jealous."
Lissy looked back at the tv and frowned. "We missed some of it. Are the silverware supposed to dance?" She cocked a thumb at it.

Vincent smiled. "Alright, I know some good movies," he assured her. Wait. She'd called it a date? A date? Hearing it from her just made it official. "Well, technically, I do have a girlfriend. My older brother made me ask her out--I don't like her that way though," he confessed with a slight frown. "I like someone else," he glanced at her, unknowingly giving away who he meant. "I was thinking of asking her if we could go back to being just friends."
He paused, and looked to the tv. "Oh, yeah. They dance when they're serving Belle her dinner or something," he grinned sheepishly. "It's actually been a while since I've seen this movie."

"Oh." Lissy's visibly pouted. He had a girlfriend already? It bugged her to think of him hanging out with another girl, but at least he didn't like her. That was a plus. "Oh. Oh." She pointed to herself with a blush.
The preteen rocked forward on her knees and spread out across Vincent's lap, crossing her arms so she could look up at him coyly while her tentacles played with his clothing. "Then why don't we skip the movie. We could do other stuff. Honestly, I've been watching something else all night."

Vincent blushed at her reaction; he hadn't expected that. "Yeah," he said with a nod. He looked down at her, watching her tentacles almost warily. How could he explain to her that he had liked her for quite some time? How could he explain that he planned on claiming her as his? He decided not to; that was how. "What kind of stuff would you like to do? We could play a game--or well anything," he was at a loss. Ebony had helped him pick out what the date should have been last time--and Josh wasn't here to help him either.
"Well, it's not warm enough to go to the park," he said aloud. "So um... Is there anything you'd especially like to do?"

Lissy blinked and rubbed her forehead with a quick pout. It felt like something had switched in her body that decided to center itself in her head. Her chibi tenty started fiddling with his leg while the longer one began exploring, shedding jewelry all over the couch. "How about Twister? I'm really pretty flexible," She smiled proudly, bending her legs back to where her feet touched the small of her back.
The preteen rolled over off the side of the couch into a crouch before standing. "Want me to go get the board?"

"Twister? Sure." Vincent said with a nod, watching her tentacles with increasing nervousness. This was awkward. "I have a twister board in the closet right there," he pointed to the hall leading to the front door. "It's the first door on the right, that's our game closet." Though he was humility, he wasn't about to tell her that he wasn't very good at Twister. He wasn't very flexible--he always ended up losing to his sisters.
He paused, and stood up, turning the dvd player off with it's remote. "I'll help you set it up," he said. But what if he messed up so badly that she laughed at him? He would have never been able to forgive himself.

"Got'cha." Lissy jazzed out into the hallway while stroking her longer tentacle. It seemed a little agitated, so she massaged it while looking for the closet. She thought she might see Sammi and Reiya out in the hall, but it looked like they were long gone. Lissy searched through the games quickly and pulled it out before jogging back to the living room.
"Got it!" She chirped, holding the board up above her head as she walked back into the room. Her skirt was in the way, so she brushed it to the side as she sat down on the floor and opened the box.

Speaking of Samantha and Reiya, they had gone upstairs to their bedroom. They had grown bored of the potential couple; they simply were doing nothing that interested the twins. So instead, they were sitting on Sammi's bed, playing a game of Go Fish. "You think they'll kiss?" Sammi asked.
"Nah. You know Vinny. He'd have to be married to kiss anyone," Reiya told her sister. "Got any sevens?"
Vinny smiled as he watched Lissy bring the box back. He bent over to help set the game up. "Sammi and Reiya are gone, aren't they?"

"Mm'hmm." She helped smooth out the board before rocking back on her haunches. "I think they've been gone for a while now." Lissy pulled one of her stretchy bracelets off and used it to tie her hair back. There was that funny feeling again. It felt like it was tugging at her, waiting for something but she couldn't figure out what.
Sliding the board over to him, Lissy prepped. "Give me a spin"

Vincent nodded, spinning the arrow on the board. "Um, hand on red," he said. He hadn't played this game for a while; it was one of those rainy day games--but rainy days rarely happened when he wasn't busy. His sisters had even made a set of rules for his tail--which usually caused him to lose. Even though his siblings tried to convince him that it was there to help balance him--it never seemed to help him much.
"You spin next," he said, pushing the board over to her.

Lissy picked the red dot closest to her and put her hand down, flicking the spinner with her other. "Left foot blue." She hadn't played Twister since her mom had passed. Gabrielle had been a champion at it, even though she was twice the size of her children and far less agile due to age. If she wasn't a doctor, she would have made a great circus freak.

Vincent put his left foot on the blue dot nearest him, before bending down the spin the dial. "Right foot green," he said, standing up straight so he wouldn't have to worry about falling. Ugh. He looked to Lissy and gave her a smile. The game always got more interesting when it was harder to keep from falling.

Lissy had to wiggle around to get her foot on a dot, but so far so good. She flipped the dial. "Right hand red." Her cheeks burned when he smiled at her. It bothered her some that she couldn't look him straight in the eye anymore, but thinking about it just made it worse. The tiny tentacle wrapped around her stomach while the longer one provided extra support.

Vincent leaned over to put his hand on the nearest red dot. That was better, things were getting more difficult. He spun the dial. "Right foot yellow," he said, looking towards her. This was easier than he had expected; he had thought playing with someone you were crushing on would have made the game awkward. So far he hadn't.
"You're good at this game," he said with a smile.

"You think so?" She tucked a stray wisp of hair behind her ear and looked for the nearest yellow dot. "You're not half bad yourself." Unfortunately, when she saw the dot it just so happened to be on the other side of Vincent.
She'd have to straddle his leg.
Being as abrasive as she was, the preteen hiked her skirt up to her thighs and did so without thinking. Her tentacle gave the dial a spin as her blood started pumping with slow realization. "Right hand green."
