Svellos blushed, hugging her back. She was warm. He could not help, but feel attracted to her. After all they've been through, and their similar pasts. "It'll be alright Mauske. I'm here for you." He whispered quietly, allowing her to bury her head into his shoulder. He tightened his hug around her, so he could feel their bodies touching completely. He enjoyed this, and grinned. "You are very cute, you know that?"

He smiled merrily. He didn't think she could possibly feel the same. Then again, she did hang out with him a lot. Svellos sure was a blind one for signals. A badass, yet a complete blind idiot when it came to love. "Errm... I need to apologize to your mom... Do you think she'll approve of us?" He quietly stated, still holding her in his arms closely.

Svellos took three scrolls, all were genin ranked abilities. He opened up the first and it was a wind technique. It was the Wind Explosion technique.

He started off by first carefully studying the technique. The idea was simple. Charge and manipulate a ball of wind within your hands. And then unleash it off at an opponent. Svellos then decided to put this to exercise. He began to focus chakra from within his stomach. He then allowed it to channel through his tenketsu. Soon it reached his hands and he tried to manipulate the wind into a ball. He created it for about half a minute. It disappeared. 1/2.

Svellos then closed his eyes and performed a single handseal. He allowed the chakra to spring around his body through tenketsu. He would then allow the movement to reach his palms. Becoming one with the wind around, he used chakra to directly form a ball of wind in his hands. He suddenly allowed it manipulate into a larger form and then as indicated he hurled it at a tree allowing it to explode and destroy a large section of the tree. 2/2.

He then opened up the next scroll. Once more it was a wind element technique. He carefully began to read through it and discovered it was the Gale Surge. It is an attack designed as a defense to react to an opposing attack the moment it is initiated. It was excellent at reflecting projectiles and knocking a nearby victim. The problem was it only effected one direction. Svellos then attempted to do this. He manipulated the wind chakra around him, and slowly build it up in his lungs, he then suddenly shot it out however it blew like a whistle at best. 1/2.

Svellos then opened his eyes, realizing his had them closed still for the longest period of time. He then placed his hands together, rapidly building up chakra to his lungs. He then began to change the chakra within allowing the wind element's added power. Suddenly he allowed the gale surge to burst out of him, and it knocked down a large boulder in front of him. 2/2.

Svellos pulled out a new set of three scrolls. These were all chuunin in rank.

The first scroll was the Water Sword technique. Svellos spend some time studying the scroll. It was similar to his clan's chakra sword, however using water to create a less dangerous substance, yet a blade of prodigal power. He then attempted to perform the technique. Using the water from a large source outside the temple, he stood before it and attempted to manipulate the water element into a blade. He formed a wakizashi, the weakest and most basic form of a water sword. He maintained it for a minute, and then it evaporated. 1/5.

Svellos tried once more, remembering what was necessary of the scroll. He recalled that it was a basic manipulation of water into the form of an elongated blade. He focused chakra, this time using more to manipulate a larger amount of water. He now formed a much more powerful silhouette of a katana. It was then physical. It was fine and capable of cutting at that level of effectiveness. He released it once more. 2/5.

He went on to perform a single handseal. He began to control the water even more ardently. To the point of where he began to like water bend. He formed a wakizashi in his hands, and then added additional water to create a water katana. Soon it became strong and firm. He was beginning to hold the katana for a longer duration of time. 3/5.

Svellos began to understand the technique completely. He reread the scroll just to guarantee he remembered what to do. He began to enter a new state of chakra control. Once more he delved into water manipulation, this time quickly forming a katana in his hand, skipping the wakizashi form entirely. He then made the blade longer, and formed a long nodachi. He was pleased. He swung the powerful blade around for a short time before the water broke form. 4/5.

He went on to perform a single handseal. He began to control the water even more completely. At the point of climax, where he began to gain complete mastery of the water. He formed a wakizashi in his hands, and then added additional water to create a water katana. From their, he solidified it, and then transformed it into a nodachi. Soon it became strong and firm. He was beginning to hold the nodachi, and he maintained it. 5/5.

Svellos opened up the next scroll. It was the Mist Instantaneous technique. It was a very complicated form of technique. He began to slowly read the scroll. It involved knowing the distance, the place you were headed, and a mastery of water manipulation to transfer your body into a mist form and in a way shadow step moving and traversing very long distanced. 1/5.

He then attempted this technique after having memorized what was necessary. Moving his chakra through the tenketsu, he focused a large amount to his feet before jumping into the air and rushing over the water. He tried to reach the opposite side of the small lake. Svellos went about two feet in a burst of mist, before landing face first in the water and becoming soaked. 2/5.

Svellos soon decided he'd now get soaked once more. He tried the technique once more. This time attempting to manipulate water and his own chakra to the area at his feet. Suddenly after pushing a larger amount of chakra to his feet he shot up into the air and attempted to glide across. He went ten feet this time before rushing downwards. He used his former knowledge of water walking and solidified the area underneath him so he could maneuver and stop himself from falling into the water. 3/5.

He then took a break after using a large amount of chakra. Svellos sat down and breathed, closing his eyes and then opening them once more. He stood up and flexed before performing a handseal. He then nearly maxed the amount of chakra flowing to his feet. Svellos then ran this time performing a back flip and transferring his water chakra so his body become a spray of mist. He allowed himself to travel as this mist to the opposite side of the lake successfully. He landed in his normal form. 4/5.

Svellos shook himself, he still had a little water on him from his first jump. He then ran forward, springing on his hand and flipping gallantly forward. He used the mist instantaneous technique leaving behind a heavy form of mist, as his body reached the original side of the lake completely. He smiled. He learned a very powerful and useful technique.

Svellos opened the third chuunin ranked scroll. It was the Hurricane Kick. Though Svellos was not a taijutsu specialized fighter, the idea could prove to be useful. He began by focusing chakra to his leg as the scroll stated. He then manipulated the area around his leg using wind chakra. Sadly, nothing occurred. This was of course the began of many attempts at this technique. 1/5.

He then performed a single handseal, to control the chakra within his body. Svellos focused it all to his leg and began to build it up. This time it was much more then before. He then began to run quickly towards a tree he manipulated wind chakra and it slightly whirled around his leg. He slammed his leg into the tree, but was bounce back two feet. 2/5.

Svellos got up, he was determined not to quit. He was going to master this if it was one of the few last things he was going to do. He smiled performing another handseal, and he began to manipulate a small funnel around his leg. He attempted to maintain it for a minute and charged at the tree once more, this time unleashing the wind with a massive kick against the tree, cutting it vigorously. This was not over. 3/5.

He suddenly allowed himself to charge up with chakra. Svellos manipulated what was within him to his leg that was now burning from the pain. He then focused wind chakra within the area around his leg. He began to control the amount pushed into the area, maximizing it momentarily. A large mini-tornado formed as he jumped into the air, hurling his hurricane kick into the tree. He slammed through it. 4/5.

Svellos stood up and this time focused chakra to his opposite leg. He decided he'd be ambidextrous with his legs. He began to use what he learned previously and manipulated wind to his leg. Soon, it began to spin into a mini-tornado just like before. Svellos maintained his chakra there and rushed to a different tree, swinging his leg to it allowing his leg to connect and damage the tree significantly. It was then destroyed. He sat down and allowed his legs to recover. 5/5.

Svellos opened up an amazingly powerful technique. It was the Fuuton: Rasengan. The legendary technique developed by the 4rth Hokage eventually passed on to Jiraiya and then on to Naruto Uzumaki. Svellos nearly had a heart attack. He looked around. No one would know he had this scroll. He was going to teach himself the technique. He started to learn the technique by reading the stated instructions. There was three things necessary in order to successfully learn this ability. You need to spin wind in your hands in an orb, as well as mold chakra, then it must be infuse as one and expanded outwards. 1/8.

He then decided he'd take what was written and put this into significant theory. He mentally scripted the size and mass of the rasengan. He then held out his hand and began by using his chakra manipulation mastery. Suddenly, the silhouette of a big dark red mass of a ball formed. He then attempted to keep maintenance of such an ability. 2/8.

Svellos did not stop there. He tried to use his knowledge of wind manipulation and began form the insides and outsides of the rasengan ball. He continued to spin the chakra to keep the ball on his hand. The mass of it becoming heavier slowly. He then decided to spin the chakra faster and mold the wind element into it. It became a physical mass now, a spinning orb. He held it his hand for a moment before he lost control and it dissipated. 3/8.

Svellos held out his hand and reformed the rasengan. He began to mold it together. He charged more chakra. He then molded it together as one form. He manipulated the wind using his opposite hand. He formed the rasengan for a minute longer. He was beginning to get very frustrated with the technique's difficulty. He thought it would be such a pain in the a**. Svellos then began to increase his chakra violently before releasing the rasengan. 4/8.

Svellos took this to heart and sat down. He once more picked up the scroll and read what was necessary. He was doing it right, but why was it not working? He continued to study it, before tossing the scroll aside. He then performed a handseal allowing more chakra to expand throughout him. Svellos then held out his hand and began to spin raw chakra into his hand forming a dark red silhouette once more. He then manipulated wind chakra and created the actual rasengan. He soon spun it faster and faster. The ball now no longer a figment of imagination. Svellos then rushed towards a tree and hurled it forward. Seconds before it would of cut into the tree, it disappeared. 5/8.

He then took off his shirt. Had enough of this loosing control crap. He then placed his hand together and slowly expanded them molding the chakra and manipulating it all at once. Svellos allowed his anger and need to learn the technique rip the seal stopping his curse seal from activating. Pain surged through him, a product of the curse seal. Soon, the triangular marks began to form throughout his body. His chakra increased, and the size of the rasengan did as well. He slammed it into a rock, and the chakra slashed a hole through it. 6/8.

Svellos continued to spin the chakra in his palm. He tried to hold it for a while longer. Then it released once more. He looked at the scroll once more and discovered that it was good for a single use. Svellos decided to form the rasengan again. This time rapidly spinning chakra in his hand, and then molding it into a sphere. He then used wind manipulation and created a spiraling vortex of a ball. He ran towards a tree before slamming it into it. 7/8.
