no one can replace The Rev... he's too good to be forgotten... crying RIP... now it's like A7X has lost a big chunk of their music & band... we'll all miss ya man..

Holy shitake mushrooms, I'm like.. Stunned he's gone. He was such a good drummer, and a really nice guy. Dang. RIP man.

I found out between 10:30 - 11 PM on the 28th that he died that day.
I went into shock and couldn't sleep.
I think I will write a little memourial piece in honor of him.
I'll post it if I do.

I cant believe it happened!!!!!!!!!! i just found out and im in total shock. what is the rest of the band gonna do now? its terrible to lose a close friend, a family member. may James Sullivan rest in peace and all those close to him find comfort in the others around them crying

Man, I found out the yesterday when Avenged Sevenfold posted it up on their websited.
Truly horrible, horrible news.
I cried & cried & I'm still shedding tears.
I'm really ******** sad.
That man was brilliant, he was my drum idol.
Avenged Sevenfold just wont be Avenged Sevenfold anymore.
May he rest in peace.

u know it just doesnt seem right. he wasnt suppose to die yet. im still in shock. and dont worry if u cried, i think alot of ppl did. it wasnt his time to go. i know me and alot of my friends cried....R.I.P. Rev crying

He was an awesome drummer.

Yea, I can't believe how ignorant and putrid the deathcore faggots are being about the Rev dying. They're saying that he deserved it, comparing him to Hitler, and that we should get over it, since we never knew him. I know that they would never say that in person. And if they did, my size 13s would be stuck upside the side of their skulls...
