Holy s**t. I am so unbelievably sorry it has taken so long. I had finals, and my dog destroyed the original sketch, and a whole load of s**t happened. So, I drew this today, and it's still a wip, so I can fix it (and I didn't wreck it with marker this time): Also, how do I make his hand look foreshortened a little, instead of it looking like he just has really stubby fingers?

Sorry~! Busy with midterms. D: I'll redline it soon, but.. your forms still lack.. well, fleshy-ness. I don't think I know anyone whose head is bigger/wider than any other part of their body. So that's definitely something to work on~ The head is a great measurement tool when drawing people. I'll put some on this next redline for you to reference. 3nodding

... so, basically, everyone needs a smaller head and wider body?

Well, I'm just talking for the average person~ I guess there might be people out there whose heads are larger than their waist, but on average humans have a bit more flesh to them then that.. D: I personally don't support the model-skinny stuff. *u*;

I'd like to be your mentee. Art Blog (Started on Jan. 1) I've kind of failed as a mentee before, but I think if you do sufficient nagging I can be consistent in asking for help. sweatdrop

Hahaha, wellll.. I'm not a good nagger, about these things. I feel that if you want me to help you with your art, then you need to be willing to come in here yourself. 3nodding Also, yeah, both of you. I'll be your mentorrrrr~
First assignment, as always, draw any simple character. Your own, someone elses, whatever. Post it here so I can see where you are with your drawing, and I'll give you a redline and some advice. C:

For now I'll post a WIP I finished inking/flatting last week. If you want the color version let me know, but it sounds like you just want to check out the structure. Also, please let me know if you want something fresh instead since I'll probably be doing another male pinup sketch tonight/tomorrow.
