Barnaby almost made a comment about how Jude looked the part but caught himself before he let his mouth get away with such a thing. They were currently operating under the Three Second Rule, which meant if he made any comment on appearance it would mean that he'd actually looked at Jude for longer than his allotted time. He wasn't ready for that stage in their relationship yet.

Recognizing a good bye when he heard one, the teen gave Jude a mock salute. "Yeah man. I'll see if I can get the good car for you on your first day. Don't want to give you whiplash or anything." Which reminded him, he definitely needed to stick that garage phone number on the bulletin board. Larry really needed to fix those cars.

That night Jude returned to his storage unit and left a dying man's note declaring Barnaby Price was to inherit his star seed and become the new Sagittarius. Grayson knew about this place; Jude had to believe he would lead Hero here.
Then he left to find Obsidian.
And he did.
