15 Jan. 2010

I was not given care of Vali when he was a baby. I was handed over a nearly five year old child with very little memory of his time in the labs. He was so tall and large for a five year old that I had to question his real age at first. They people in the lab assured me that he was in fact still a toddler.

The young spawn was a combination of the current sloth, Liewelyn, and the current liberality, Jhordaesaloria. His body was so fit and strong, not to mention metal, and his mind seemed so willing to learn and meet the world that I named him Vali, it means "to be healthy" or "to be strong" in Romanian.

He might be a sloth spawn but this boy hardly every sleeps and hardly ever eats. He seems to only eat to try new foods or when he feels like it. He is the sweetest person I know and he means well but I think he might seems scary to others who do not know him. He is so large and when he smiles his teeth are sharp and pointed that he almost looks like a shark when he smiles. His hair is metal and the thick locks always cover his eyes it is hard to move his hair though the metal can only bend so far. But it does not seem to affect his vision for he can see clearly and even in prefect color. He has four razor sharp blade that he is surprisingly careful with. He is very aware of them and makes sure to shift his arms just right as to not cut anyone when he hugs them but his bed always gets torn up. I might need to get blade guards for them when he sleeps.

I don't not know if I am happy or sad at the fact that no matter how much time he spends with me Vali will not call me mother or anything other than Dooma. He does think of me as a mother I think but he likes calling my by my name. And seeing how it makes him happy I really don't mind him calling me by my name. I have a feeling this sweet little silver boy will have me wrapped around his cold metal fingers.

I Know Your Faking! Now ABC and 123

Vali sat at the kitchen table a pencil slipped threw one of the holes in his arm blades and paperclips were being hung form both ends of the pencil. He knew Dooma was trying to help teach him but learning was so boring. He was not stupid but he did not want to spend his days sitting at the table trying to learn. She was making him lunch wail he was suppose to be practicing writing his letters but he was so bored with it. He wanted to read but learning to read was a pain. He was currently slipping another paperclip onto the end of the pencil when Dooma's call made him freeze.

Dooma had started to learn Vali's little study habits. When he started to get bored he would either hang things from his blades or sleep. She could hear the soft sound of metal on metal and she smiled, "How many clips do you have hanging now Vali?" She called out with a smile. She heard Vali gasp and then start to count. "Um....five....um...wait...six...yes six!" The silver spawn looked up as Dooma walked in with a plate of sandwiches for both of them. It was rare for Vali to be hungry so when he tried to get her to stop the lesson by cooking food she had stopped talking to make the food but had left him a sheet of paper to practice his letters.

She looked at the sheet as she put down the food. "You really have been practicing haven't you?" she asked sarcastically. "Alright well if you can spell the words right I will give you the food. I made your favorite sandwiches and I even have a desert ready if you get the answers right." She said and though she saw a small grin at the idea of a challenge she watched Vali stretch his arms and yawn. "Dooma I think want a nap." he said as the pencil and paper clips fell from his arm.

Dooma shook her head and held out a sandwich. "I know your faking it Vali your not sleep your smile gave it away. Come on once you learn this stuff I will not bother you about it. Spell frog." Vali laughed warmly at the fact Dooma had caught him both times and he takes the sandwich. As he ate it he leaned back, "F.O.R.G." he said and his tail swayed behind him. Looks like the lesson would be on as long as the food and Dooma was willing to keep him on his toes.

It would be on a Saturday that you open your mail box (if you have one) and notice there is a rather thick envelope stuffed in there. There is no postage stamp and a very vague return address. But you recognize the font and the company's name. 'Seven of Seven Inc' scrawled in majestic font across the upper left hand corner. As you open it, you may strangely find yourself drawn to the letter, there is a mass of notes inside. They read as follows:

Letter
Congratulations! You have managed to succeed in raising your child. (IE: Not killing him or her or getting killed yourself. Haha we kid of course.) We would like an update from you on the following:

Guardians Name:
Child's Name:
Sin:
Virtue:
Gender:
Current Attitude:
Likes:
Dislikes:
Any abnormal growths: (if any, example: Feathers molting, horns growing larger, scars )
Current hair style:
Current clothing preferences:
Dominant celestial trait: (The sin or virtue)

Please summarize in your own words how difficult or easy it was taking care of your child. Did you manage to care for them in a kindly fashion? Or were you forced to discipline them?
As well do not be alarmed if you suddenly find your child achieving a massive growth spurt in the next little while. We are finding that the children from our facility have strange growing patterns and are rather unpredictable. Although please let us know if anything unexpected occurs.

Sincerely the technicians from Seven of Seven Inc.

Ps. Please just leave your letter back in your mail box one you have completed it our courier will pick it up.

Thank you.

You would notice the letter seems overly friendly...strange since the scientist were so ...cold before.

(Just take the from Guardians name to Dominant Celestial trait and pm it to the mule, the summarization doesn't have to be long just have fun with it.)

6 June. 2010

I have been a young spawn caregiver for five months give or take a week or two. I do not think I could have been given an easier ward to watch over. Vali is one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. He really does inspire me to want to be a better person. It seem that no matter what is tossed at him he handles it with a patience and gentleness I can not comprehend.

Vali is currently a child, his growth spurt was rather interesting. He shot up over night and is almost the size of an eleven year old. He has even started to bulk up. At this rate he might be a beast of a teenager. I am sure he will be more popular the older he gets but he has talked of three other spawn he has really attached himself too. He has a best friend in a young spawn named Pippin. Though I must say from the way he talks he is gaining another young friend a female this time named Bleez. She has a short temper but that is what you can expect from a wrath child I am told. But he handles her fast talking and mood swings very well. Lastly he has shown an intrest in an older spawn who shared his virtue father. I hope that he can continue to find friends and that he does not loose his gentle side any time soon.

Though the other day I when I took him to meet one of his birth parents he returned from the meeting quiet and withdrawn. It seems that the lost of both of his birth parents has hit harder than he is letting on. I do not think that this and a slight increase in the number of both people and spawn will bode well for his coming growths. I am still trying not to interfere as much as possible. But i hope he remembers that he has friends he can trust in.

June.....7, 9, 6, 2010

Dooma says I should keep a dairy. So I will. I will write when she sleeps to keep myself busy. I like her even if she is not as cuddle or fun as some of the other people who take care of spawn. She is not as strict as they are either. She is really nice.

I have two really good friends. I have my princess Pippin. He is so kind but a bit shy. I really like getting to spend time with him. He is a great hugger and I love to pick him up and hold him close. I can not help but want to protect him!

We have matching bracelets. And then there is Bleez. She is my king. She really like dinosaurs and she is my Bleezasaurs Rex. I am her Valankylosaurus. I have a lot of fun with her. She talk very fast and sometimes she is hard to understand. She can also get angry really quick. But she is really good at calming down afterwards.

There is another person I really want to get to know. His name is Fitzroy. He is really cool. We are both going to try and be super heros and help every person or spawn in trouble. He really likes my skin and I really like his stomach. His name is Pac-Man. He gave me the idea to try and find if my metal can be broken or cut. I just need to find a blow torch.

Though I don't know if Fitzroy wants to be my friend any more. After we both went to meet one of our parents. We share a father...I found out that one of my fathers is dead and the other father ran away from the lab. I don't think he wanted me. Why would he run away without trying to see me? Maybe he does not even know that I am alive. Though I don't think that would make him come back. I was told that where he is now makes it hard for him to ever come back. But the lab is fine with it. Someone else has taken his place. Maybe this is what i need to do? Maybe I need to find a way to stop the lab from harming other spawn by letting their parents die or run away. Though I wonder do angels and demons need saving too? Should I try to help them as well?

Why would someone want to leave so badly that they would risk their lives and abandon all they know? Why would they leave someone alone and not knowing if they were ever important?

Vali's first skill class has been completed. He now knows how to stretch and work out properly. It gives him something to do in the night when he can't sleep. Though I think a lot of his muscles are natural heart
