Lex's feet dragged and she kicked up dust in the road. she grumbled quietly, and her empty left hand pressed a damp cloth against her eye socket. A light shown a few yards away, an inn. Great! The young woman walked up to the door and let herself in she spotted a few people one of which had to be the inn keeper.
Lex was bruised and beaten looking, she had filthy blood stained dirt covered bandages covering good portion of her body and she needed a bath and a good meal.
"How much for a room, ah, you know what, I don't even care how much just get me a bed. And food! Alcohol too. I've got cash. Don’t take long, I’m ready to chill."
Lex dropped her hand away from her face, revealing a horribly discolored black eye. The woman grinned and dropped her pack to the floor beside her.

Lex
The inkeeper is busy talking to some young man, who seems to be an adventurer, however the lady right next to the inkeeper looked up at Lex, then quickly eyed Lex up and down. "Well give me 2 silver coins and I'll make sure a nice warm bath is made ready for you, along with a good, tasty meal and a room".
Air'gen
It's a little unusual to see that many travellers stay at the inn the same night. What seems to be two adventurers are talking to the inkeeper and his wife.

"This is odd" Air'gen said to Korsu "So many armed travellers in this backwater town". Air'gen wasn't in the best of moods right now "Some business in Thiensville or have you just come to kill every one who's left". She span around to look at him "either way you're not likely to make much".

No one likes Orks(Orcs), Goblins, Kobalts, Hobgoblins, trolls, giants, gnolls, or any of the other miscellaneous b*****d races. These are the basic D&D/War hammer/folk lore stereotype race relations)

Air'gen didn't bother waiting for a reply of any kind, she just whisked herself up to her room. There she grabbed a knife and climbed out the window to a tree, which she sat on and began cutting sigls and runes into it the tree was almost completely covered in these magical signs. This was actually part of a long term job to make a guardian for the town the magic was remarkably simple if the markings were right.

(( I haven't decided on the gods yet, but I don't want to use those from D&D, and I've considered not using gods in the same way, but perhaps some folks pray to powerful people, heroes etc. it doesn't exactly grant them powers, but their beliefs in these "gods" can activate their inner magic. ))

As Air'gen has been working on the tree for more than a month at least, she estimates that her work will be done this very night, probably an hour or two from now that is if it's been done correctly.
(( Runes and spellscrolls in this world takes a lot of time to create, since every word/letter needs to be charged with magic first. If a magician makes these without tools they'll use up their own reserves of magic. The amount of magic a person holds can be trained, just like muscles. ))

Trajedie glancedup at the girl in the tree before slipping into the inn. She made her way to the innkeeper as unobtrusively as possible. As she moved she took note of everyone within the building. She dismissed each person immediately. "How much for a room?" she asked the innkeeper at the first opportunity.

Trajedie
A waitress walks up to Trajedie "We're a little busy at the moment, but I can get you a key to one of our rooms, it'll be 1 silver"
Update: The lore section has been updated again, more descriptions has been added to the elves' descriptions. I'm also writing some info on the magic of this world, and how it works.

Trajedie dug in her pocket for a moment before producing the silver. She handed it to the waitress and hurriedly took the key she had been offered. She then made her way to the bar and tried to figure out how moch money she had leftover. She couldn't quite remember how much she had had before buying the room. She knew it wasn't much. She then decided against spending any more money than she needed to. She then moved on to find her room upstairs.

"Was that another elf" Air'gen muttered as Trajedie passed underneath but didn't take her eye's off her work. She only had three more Elvish Sigils to go but they took a while, she muttered a small incantation and moved on.

Trajedie
Trajedie entered a small room. There was only one window from which the moonlight entered the room, casting shadows upon the wall. Next to the door stood a small wooden table with an oil-lamp on it. Under the window a desk was placed, on it another oil-lamp, a bundle og parchments, an inkbottle and an feather placed in it. Up against the wall Trajedie could see a small bed with a pillow and a blanket.
Air'gen
Outside it was getting darker, the moon cast a dim silver light on Air'gen's surroundings.
(( You'll be on pause for a little while, till I get some replies from the others. If you want you may create an extra character or a companion? You may contribute to the lore if you wish? Or if you have other ideas just ask ))
