Well it sounded like fun. He'd never been much of a dancer, though. Of course he could dance, just wasn't crazy about it. I think I will. Better than sitting around here, isn't it. Tai climbed the steps to stand a few below them. Tai. Tai Elequin. And yourself?

"Yes very nice to meet you Tai." Dian'Chet says while looking him over with a passing glance. "You have the look of a fighter about you. That means you should be a good dancer huh?"

October let out a giggle and turned to Tai, "So are you ready? The party should be starting any minute." She saw the lights down the main hall light up. "Good they did use my decorations." She grabbed Dian'Chet's right hand and Tai's left hand. "Let's go you two." She took off running dragging the two fighters behind her.

He laughed softly. You've guessed correct. he murmured, reaching to pat the hilt of his sword. I wouldn't call myself a lord when it comes to dancing, but I know how He gave a shrug. Tai tensed when the girl grabbed his hand, his free one already reaching for his sword. The boy stopped himself, though, forcing himself to relax and run along behind her.

Dian'Chet starts off with October when she grabs his hand. Unconsiously looking over at Tai. "Hey were all friends here no need to be on your guard all the time. I understand how it is though." He keeps moving the whole time without even putting forth any effort.

October glanced back over her shoulder at the two she was dragging along behind her. She suddenly came to a screeching halt letting both of the boys hands slide out of hers as they flew past her. She realized she had made Tai uncomfortable by grabbing his hand. And Dian'Chet was trying to help him. "I'm sorry Tai, I.. I didn't realize that it's hard for you to trust people. I'm very out going and I like to meet new people and you seem really awesome.... But I didn't know you were on guard this whole time. And for that... I am sorry. And Dian'Chet..... at least make it seem like I'm dragging you I mean come on!!!" She laughed at her last remark, "Last one to the main hall is last at practice tomorrow!!!" At that she took off sprinting down the hallway and down the curved staircase that lined the south wall.

Dian'Chet looks over at Tai "Well you heard the girl last one to the main hall is a rotten egg." Then he takes off towards the main hall trying to catch up to October.

She heard faint foot steps following her, whom ever it was, was gaining quick. She kicked off the wall and down the railing. Grabbing the light fixture on the wall she spun intot he hall and took off running faster. She yelled back, "Catch me if you can!!!" She smiled to herself thinking. Humans can never keep up with a vampire. her feet started to slow when she thought that. She shook her head and kept pressing on.

She smiled forgetting there is no humans in her company. She took off even faster down the hall until she saw the lights coming from the hall. "I win!!" she yelled as she busted through the door. "Come on Tai!!! Catch up." She giggled and hurried to get changed into her dress. Her brother and sister were already in the room.

Dian'Chet bursts into the hall still in the shape of a jaguar. "Hey thats no fair you had a head start. Last one to change into their formal wear is a nasty human." As soon as he says that he transforms back into a human already dressed in his tux.

October leaned against the red couch in the middle of the room already in her gown. Her gown was a long black formal dress with a silk blue waist wrap that outlined her waist line. A blue rose accented the outfit in her long black hair. "Oh, did you say something?" She looked at him and smiled. "You like really nice." She smiled.
