If I had the money to buy EITHER, I'd probably buy the DS first, because of everything everyone else already said.

I'm still happy with my GBA, so when the prices drop on the PSP and DS (and people give opinions on which one rocks and which sucks), then I'll buy them.

I thinkin I'll get a DS. They have some better games for it now that its been out for awhile. I haven't seen too many games that have peaked my interest yet for the PSP. Maybe Darkstalkers, but thats it. If I get it as a gift, I won't mind though. xd

I've debated "upgrading", but I haven't really seen many games I'd be too interested in palying for the DS and the PSP. And I'm really happy with my nice silver-with-tattooed SP. That and the fact I won't have money once school starts so I better save up now incase I ever want to go out during the school year.

I perfer the DS, but if you want something that doubles as a media player you should go with the PSP. Just to let you know the PSP dosn't have any worthwhile games to play, while the DS has some nice games.

I went with the PSP first, because I prefer Sony over the other systems. I made a mistake in that, I barely ever play it anymore. It has crap for RPGs, which are my favorite type of games.
I got a DS afterwards, because the Lite version came out and it was only $10 more then the original DS. I got Brain Academy with it and then brought Nintendogs (Dauchund) afterwards.
The DS was and still is cheaper, short or nonexistant load times (PSP is horrible with that), more and cheaper games, backwards compatability (PSP is the first portable for Sony), and two screens! smile
The only thing I don't like about the DS is scratching the screen, I do have a screen protector on it... but I think that things like getting scratched through sad
Most of the PSP games can be brought on the PS2 for the same price or cheaper (ie: GTA: Vice City Stories PSP=30, PS2=20; save $10)
DS > PSP Spoken (ok typed) from experience. 3nodding

The DS is nice, but I'd have to say the PSP. Sure it's abit more but it also offers abit more like music. Which in my book is good. mrgreen
