Part of me wouldn't care. Like...maybe there's a reason he cheated on me that I should fix or my friend is better for him or something.

This actually happened to my mother like 30 years ago. Dude she was with for a really long time. Was a few years iirc. Actually wanted to marry him. Cheated on her with her best friend who was already married. Her and the best friend pretty much stopped talking and she stopped dating the guy. Oddly enough the guy and her still talk at times but just as friends. I met her former best friend once at the post office. Like two or so years ago. Was pretty amusing since I did not know the story at the time. So I mentioned the guy as my mother was helping me fill out the address for a gift to Lina and since it was to Sweden she actually wrote down the dudes name till I corrected her (Guy Was Swedish obv). So when I mentioned his name you should have seen the look on the woman's face. Then mother jumped in and I fully explained about the incorrect address. On the way home in the car she told me the story and we both LOL'd so hard.
