Horthak stared at her increduolosly. "Are you expected to go out each day and provide meat for 10 people? Do you have a family to provide for? a tribe to nurture? and are your tribe the guardians of this area? Because until you are, dont question the authority of a wolfchild hunter!" with this he turned his massive weapon back towards the dwrves.
to your surprise, the dwarves are gone.

Nivia arched a question, "no I admit I do not care for ten beings, I only worry about myself unless I have cubs at the time." She noticed that the scent of the dwarves was now gone, "well then, seems like they got away, too bad for you." She looked at the fey out of the corner of her eye, "but I will say this much, a wolfchild holds no authority over me, but I do not see them as something I would call a friend if they are willing to attack just based off of a first impression of a situation." She moved her weapon so that it was now ready to be wielded, "and if I am threatened I will retaliate against you and have no qualms for doing so." She watched him, waiting to see what he would do.

His right hand tightening on his sugliin, his left went to where his greatsword was held. He would not attack, those dwarves he knew to support iborighu, he had encoujntered them before. But he was no fool. He knew that this peace talk meant nothing.

The polar bear saw that he was not making any further a move with his weapons, "now if you will be so kind, please explain to me what logic you find in threatening the dwarves, for if my judgement is truly something that is in the wrong, I will certainly be willing to make up for my error and aid you in avenging their actions upon this fey, but I do not feel that I am mistaken at the moment."

((you never anwsered my looking to see if there was fresh blood ont he Dwarves weapons and armor, I said that for a very specific reason as that would have shown my initial assessment to be wrong.)) you saw one of the dwarves had blood on his fists and faceHorthak lowered his sugliin. "They are cultists of iborighu. they wish to turn the whole world into perpetual winter. and this uldra, i take it, was on the way to become a rimefire witch." he kneeled down and felt the body for a pulse. [color = darkblue] there wasn't one

The Polar Bear crouched down, "perpetual winter, actually doesn't sound to bad, summers would no longer be hell." She noted the fey seeing the manner of its's wounds, "well then, we have but one choice it would seem, bury her, and then make off after those that did this to her." She looked off and snifffed the air, their scent seeming to have gone off to the south, but not being able to track all that wee, she knew the scent menat little.

Horthak grunted and began to dig a small pit beneath the tree. In a manner of minutes he had a small grave ready.

Nivia bent down and carefully slid off her pack, she then cradled the small fey's form in her arms, making the deceased appear all the more frail and brittle. She then set her into the grave gently, and moved back to allow the Neanderthal to bury her.

Nivia moved back and retrieved her pack, shouldering the wieght with ease, "if I had taken time to look a little better, I would have maybe given us a chance to get information from them, I apologize. if you will still have me aid you, I will do my best to ensure her death was not something pointless." She sniffed the air again, "if my perception are right I believe they went off towards the South, does that sound right in you knowledge of them?" She looked at him questioningly.

Nivia looked towards the south, then slowly began heading off in that direction, sniffing here and there to see if the scent seemed to go elsewhere. She continued following it as best she could but it was faint due to the snow instead of normal ground cover.
((Search check to ensure how well she is able to follow the scent.))
((Well, natural 20, how about that, *purrs happily* we all know what that means.))
