"Yeah, yeah..." She shook her head, trying not to let the praise of knowing that someone enjoyed her company get to her head. People enjoyed her company all of the time anyways. It wasn't all that big of a deal... Really.
"Well," she shifted slightly, glancing in the direction the waiter had just taken off in before glancing over at Demetri, "I know what kind of trouble you Hillworth boys can be, but I'm going to take my chances and make a trip to the little girls room. Don't go slipping anything into my drink, alright?" She smirked as she slid out of her side of the booth, reaching over to playfully ruffle her friend's hair before heading towards the back to the restroom so she could check on her makeup.

"Hey hey hey! If I was any kind of -real- trouble I'd meet you in the girl's room, buuuut you know..you're safe from that."
Riiiight, fat chance of -that- happening. He took a few moments to fix his hair (despite no protest to the ruffling itself he HAD to fix it) before going right back to his bubble blowing from earlier.
Cause trouble? Nope! The cracked ribs had been a painful reminder of why -not- to stand out in restaurants. For now he was content to being unnoticed. Or so he -thought-.

That... was -it-...
As soon as she was away from the table he was up and -looming- at Dem's elbow... "Well... at least I know what -else- your 'in to' at the mall." He growled sarcastically.
"Really, groupies already? Did she offer or did you seek her out?" He scowled at Dem. Liked guys, wasn't into boobs. Liar... Not that it -bothered- him. Nope not at all. AT ALL... nope.

"W-what?!"
The blonde choked on his soda, turning a startled look to Z. Wow...that whole looming thing just didn't work for the shorter boy. But that was okay! Because after his initial -shock- he was quite happy to see Z there.
"Z-man, what's up?"
It only took a moment for Demy to shrug off all hints of surprise and get to better things, such as trying to tug Z into the seat beside him.
"What..are you talking about dude? I didn't seek out anyone..?"

"Oh so she sought -you- out..." He scowled. Now how would she have latched on to Demy in the -first- place.
He resisted the pull on his arm "I wouldn't want to interrupt your little mall romance." He said still scowling at his roomie.
Nope, not bothered in the least. PICTURE of composure.

Now he was surprised for a whole -new- reason.
"Z, dude, what's with that look? It's not like I went and ripped all the tape up and danced naked on your side of the room or something? Sheeeesh."
Another tug, glowstick eyes -pleading- for the scowling to stop and Z to just sit -down-.
"Romance? I uh...I thought you knew me better than that? Prettyyyy sure I've told you several times I'm not into girls, so I'm..not really understanding what you're getting at?"

She'd contented herself with touching up her makeup, pulling her hair back away from her face at first before letting it back down and running the brush she kept in her purse through midnight locks for quick measure. "Hm..." She leaned in closer, eying her reflection for a moment. "Still missing... Something."
Rummaging through her purse took a little bit longer than she'd thought but eventually she found her favorite lip gloss, touching the shine on her lips up. Grinning with satisfaction she blew her reflection a kiss before heading back out to the table she and Demy were sharing, brow furrowing as she saw that there was an extra body already there.
"Demy... Why is there a little man hovering around our booth? Did our waiter ditch us or something?" Her brow furrowed for a moment as a pout slid onto her lips as she glanced around, practically pleading that wasn't the case. "He really doesn't look old enough to be trusted serving anyone's pizza...."

"If you heard what I said then why didn't you hear that I said she was -safe- from me following her into the bathroom? Possibly because, I dunno, I DON'T LIKE GIRLS?!"
Oh crap, that earned a few glances. But oh well! This was -important-.
"I think it -sounds like-..."
Unfortunately his very well thought out (as if) response wouldn't see the light of day. Finally! She was back and Z would -have- to see the truth now, right? RIGHT?
"That's not a waiter, that's my roommate Z. Could you please inform him that all we did was go for a bit of shopping before he freaking kills me?"

He was about to fire off a sharp reply about -exactly- what it sounded like when 'it' returned... and referred to him not only as a waiter. But as short, and not to be trusted with so simple a task as serving food.
"Currently..." he said eyes narrowed. "Your life wouldn't be the one to be worried about."
God, was she pouting over the waiter as well? What the HELL!? There was -no- way he had so gravely mis-calcuatled their interactions. It wasn't as though he lacked objectivity!

"You're roommate?" Her brow lofted slightly as she turned from her waiter search in order to eye Demetri's little friend over once more. "Wait. You're telling me he's old enough to be in highschool? To go to Hillworth?" She said the last word in an almost hushed whisper as if uttering the very name of that dreaded school would bring all of its goons crawling out of the walls.
Biting back a snicker she slid into her seat. "Funny. He doesn't look like a hardened criminal to me... Y'know, other than shooting me death glares. He might want to get that checked, Dem." There was a certain cattiness in her tone that said that she was the one used to giving those glares, generally to other girls. "Is he going to sit down or is he going to keep drawing attention to us?"

"uh..yes? Yes he is? We're the same age and everything! And he's an awesome roommate, when he isn't down my throat for thinking I like a girl."
A pause in his rant to shoot a rather pointed glare right at Z.
"You know for being so -smart- Z you seem to notice the glaringly obvious problem with your little scenario. The same problem I keep telling you and yet you continue on with..whatever your problem is! So why don't you -sit down- and....wait, what the hell are you doing? And quit using such..big words!"
Alright, vacuous trollop wasn't the largest thing Z had ever said, but Demy still had no idea what it meant and that was pretty damn frustrating.

"Seriously, if all you wanted was a piece of pizza..." She rolled her eyes, bringing her hand up to block her face from the camera as if this too was something that she was simply used to. Sometimes it was just way too hard being a beautiful girl.
Then something hit her; something that made her hand drop down as a very horrified look crossed the features of her face. "Wait. He thinks you...? Me...? Ew. God, no. That's just... What kind of sick is your roomie, Demetri? Ugh. I wouldn't even dream of... Do you have any idea how long we've known one another, twerp?"

He clicked the cellphone camera, but it was a poor picture even with her hand dropped because his did as well mid snap.
"....-Demetri." He said saying the name like it was a stranger, and not the colorful young man he stood beside.
He glanced at Dem with an arched eyebrow... "really." he said with a hint of amusement.
He scowled though seconds later. Apparently she knew him longer...or at least -better- than he did. He did -not- like that at all. It rather put him in a poor position for being so damned pissy about all of this, nonsense.
"Longer, given that name, than your diction and discourse would have given anyone the thought to believe." He admitted irritably. And as round about as possible too, he -despised- admitting he was wrong -particularly- in front of strangers.
