After wandering through the desert for hours Atsureki finally saw the border between the wind country and the fire country, the increasing amount of green making the border clear. Atsureki continued onward, his spirits renewed by the sight of green, making his way to the borderlands of fire and wind.

Axel traveled through the countryside, hoping to have made it to Rice Country. Unfortunately...he hadn't. "How the HELL did I end up in the dessert!?" he cursed as he had Samehada strapped to his back while Outou's clan sword strapped to his waist. He sighed as he saw the Sand Village off into the distance. "Well...I might as well get some information on the Sand village..." he stated simply as he took out a single scroll. Biting his thumb, he placed Samehada atop of it, along with Outou's sword and sealed it into the scroll. Now both of them would be safe and away from prying eyes. Securely tucking the scroll to the back hip pocket he removed his mist headband and placed it there as well. He remembered his brother speaking of an attack on Sand and he did not want to antagonize anyone here. All he wanted was directions on how to get to Rice country.

Kage

Kage had been making easy work of the travel as she ran near the back of the group, beside Hikaru. every now and then she would look around to see how everyone was faring, but could see that Deil was beginning to grow weary by the number of returns to his canteen. A slight spring in his step had occurred when she last looked at him as he began to pull away from them, but Kage knew better then to allow ambition to travel and determination hinder later progress as they still had quite a ways to go.

Hikaru had traveled in silence mostly, his thoughts lost in trying to find out what he was doing. From Prince, to refugee, to special ops... he had found himself more lost then he had ever been. As he ran, he found a greater resolve as he thought back to his home, remembering why he had come. He would grow stronger and return... this journey was just another step along the path. Turning to his side, Hikaru was about to make a comment when his mouth closed quickly, seeing that there was no one next to him... but rather only slight particles of ice n the air which quickly evaporated in the desert sun.

As Deil picked up his pace, he hadn't moved more then 50 yards before seeing Kage appear in front of him, standing still in an unmistakable posture which called for him to stop as well. Taking a look at her, you would barely have been able to tell she had been running for minutes, let alone hours. as beads of sweat dropped from everyone else's brow, her's was clear, seemingly free of any sort of effect from the sun, or the travel. "We'll stop here for a bit and break out some rations."

No sooner had she said the words then did Kage break into a series of hand seals as she clapped her hands together, as crystals of ice began to appear from all around the group, growing upwards into the sky for about 20 ft as a large dome like structure surrounded the group. All inside the dome would instantly feel relieved from the sun's heat as the ice crystals blocked the harmful rays and would instantly feel waves of cool air pass by them as the temperature within the dome dropped about 40 degrees when compared with the 100+ weather outside. Finished with her technique, Kage sat down quietly, leaning up against the side of the barrier as she waited for the group to break out some food and continue on. As for herself, all she did was break out a soldier pill and toss it into her mouth casually, making short work of the ration in seconds.
