Deil let out a wry smile as he released her hand. This is bold, but as a taijutsu user, I need as many defenses as possible, so I need to ask her. Well, I once heard that people can become immune to poisons by administering small or diluted amounts of them every day to their bodies. I was wondering if you think that this is something I should pursue? If it goes well, I can become immune to most poisons, and you will have a practice dummy for healing their affects. So, what are your thoughts?" He straightened his face as he took on a serious tone.

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninMisuki thought about what Deil said about aministering small amounts of poison into his body and how she'll be able to practise healing them and nodded. "That's a pretty bold move but it's a good idea. Just to let you know thought, I've only recently started practising as a medic nin so I'm not sure how I'll do. If things go terribly wrong, just remember that it was your choice." Misuki mentioned the last part in a jokingly manner and waited for Deil's response.

Deil chuckled at her remark. "If I die from a little poison while in a hospital surrounded by medical ninja, then I fail at life." He scratched his hair and shifted his weight as he asked, "How soon can we start?" He knew this was going to be a good trump card against assassins, as well as the regular dangers of life, so it would be worth it.

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninMisuki thought about it for a moment before replying, "Well, I'm a bit tired from my training earlier so my chakra reserve isn't as high as I would like it to be so how about I meet up with you tomorrow at 'The Sands Gourmet Cusine's' for breakfast?" She continued to look at Deil wondering what his response would be.

Deil was actually a little relieved to hear this, as his legs were burning up a storm from training. "That sounds good to me! I'll see you there then." He gave a quick wave and a smile as he turned around and headed back to the dorms. A nice hot bath would do him some good. [exit to dorms]

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninMisuki waved goodbye to Deil before continuing on her way to the hospital's cafeteria. After lunch, Misuki made her way back down the left corrider and into the practice room. While waiting for the nurse to get here, Misuki took out the medical jutsu scroll and looked over the last two basic skills. 'Alright, the last two are Teikouryoku (Power of Resistance) and Tekishutsu (Extraction). Its going to be a bit hard to practice the next two jutsus seeing but I'm sure I'll come up with something. Now then, best to make sure that I've memoriaed the jutsus correctly. While reading the scroll, Misuki used her left hand to change the beat she was currently listening to, to something more complex and upbeat. "Oh, good afternoon hun, seems you're already here. Great, lets get started."
Turning around to face the nurse, Misuki watched as she placed a tray with a perseved dead rat in it on the table. In the middle of the rat, near its stomach, was a small cutting knife. Misuki walked over to the table a bit gross out by the smell of the chemical perseving the rat but pushed the though to the back of her mind as she looked to the nurse for further directions. "When students come here to learn the Tekishutsu, we usually give them a perseved rat with something stuck in them. Your goal is to extract the knife without further damaging the organs within. Afterall that's what that jutus is for isn't it?" Misuki nodded in understanding and began forming the correct handsigns for the Tekishutsu jutsu. Misuki felt the chakra surrounding her hands and slowly placed them on either side of the rat's stomach.
Consentrating hard, Misuki directed her chakra into the preserved tissue cells and carefully manipulated them to slowly push up the object without causing further damage to the cells. Slowly, Misuki watched as the knife slowly rise on its own from the flesh wound and after several minutes ploped out and landed on the tray beside the rat. Cancelling her jutsu, Misuki took several quick breaths to relax her body. 'Wow, that was tiring. It was really difficult to manipulte the tissues but then again it might be because the rat was perserved that it was harder to control then normal. Next time, I definiately should try it out on someone.' Smiling, Misuki quickly went to wash her hands after touching the rat before taking a drink from the water fountain next to it. 'This is great, I've master 4 basic medical jutsus so far. Only one more to go before I finished my personnal goal for the day and I can go home and rest.'

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninMisuki returned to the table after her short water break to find the nurse taking out several different bottles out of a nearby glass cabinet and place them on the table. Misuki looked at the bottles for a few minutes reading the various labels, 'Paralization serum, rat poison, yuck, cyanide, amyl nitrite, thallium, prussian blue... Misuki looked up at the nurse with amazement, "Whoa, that's alot of different poisons you guys have as well as antidotes." The nurse nodded as she led Misuki to a nearby bench, "Well, how else are the medic nins gonna test that resistance jutsu if we don't have any poison for them to resists? Anyways, I'll inject a needle filled with poison into your bloodstream and we'll see how long your resistence last. Once it starts to fade and you begin to feel the effects of the poison, I'll quickly inject the antidote into your system. Afterwards, I advise a filling meal and a good night's rest. Ready?" Misuki nodded and swiftly formed the handsigns for Teikouryoku (Power of Resistance), Misuki was surrounded by pale crimson chakra for a quick second before it disappeared. "I guess that means I'm ready, please proceed." The nurse nodded and injected a poison filled needle into Misuki's arm. "There, all that's left is to wait. So tell me about yourself Shindoue-san." Misuki looked up to the nurse and began speaking, "Well, I was..."
For awhile nothing happened but after talking with each other for about 15 minutes, Misuki soon found herself getting dizzy and unable to breath properly. "I think I'm reaching my limit, antidote please." The nurse nodded and quickly reached behind her for the antidote. She injected it into Misuki and watched as the girl slowly gather back her barings. "How are you feeling hun? Usually a poison such as this begins to affect its victims a few minutes after entering the bloodstream, but you held out for about 12 minutes minus the 3 minute average it usually takes for the poison to take effect. Good work, I guess you've successfully mastered this jutsu and I'm sure your resistance time will slowly improve with time." Misuki nodded and stood up slowly, still feeling a bit light headed from the sudden rush of pain to the just as sudden release of it. "Thank you for all your help, I'll be sure to drop by when I wish to practise again." She gave the nurse a polite bow before leaving the hospital.

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninMisuki entered the hospital with Deil right behind her and quickly signed them in. Motioning for Deil to follow, she lead them down the left corridor towards the training room she was in yesterday. As they walked down the corridor, Misuki changed the beat on her sound device to something with a slightly quicker tempo in preparation for what they were about to do. Once they reached the room, Misuki slid open the door and look inside. She noticed that it was empty and inwardly smiled, 'Its nice to be able to train once in awhile without supervision.' stepping into the room, Misuki made her way towards the same glass cabinet the nurse went to yesterday for poisons. Opening it, Misuki began scanning the bottles for a good poison to start off with. 'That looks good.' Reaching into the cabinet, Misuki took out a small bottle contained with some sort of light yellowish serum before closing it shut and walking over towards the table. Placing the bottle down on the table, Misuki gathering the supplies she would need for this task. "I'll be ready in just a moment, there are several things I need to gather first okay?" {Leaving for dinner, be back soon.}

Deil sat down on one of the chairs in the room, and waited for her to begin. "That's fine, its important we do this right." Deil folded his arms and leaned back in his chair, trying to relax before the training began. He started clenching and un-clenching his hand on his left arm to make his veins more visible. He knew the next little while would be rough, but it needed to be done. [My step-dad saw the screen with your character picture on it, and wandered off grumbling "Japanese cartoon bulls**t. xd He doesn't like all the new forms of entertainment at all. He's stuck in the 80's rolleyes Well, enjoy your dinner.]

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninFinished with gathering the required materials she needed to work with, Misuki placed them on the table. After arranging them neatly on the table, it was easy to see the following: several newly packaged needles; fresh, clean leaves; several herbs; a few packages of alcohol wipes and the bottle of poision along with its antidote. "Alright, lets get started." She motioned for Deil to take a seat at the nearby bench and began forming the correct handsigns for her Kiyomaru (Cleanse) jutsu. Misuki was surrounded in light crimson chakra for a few seconds before it instantly disappeared, "Cleansing," was Misuki curt explaination of what just happened before ripping open one of the alcohol wipe packages and cleaning a spot on Deil's arm. Throwing the used wipe in the garbage can, Misuki proceeded to open a brand new needle and filling it with the poison. Once filled, Misuki walked back over to Deil, "Alright, I'm going to start with a paralizing serum. I'm going to leave it in for a few minutes and then I'm going to activate a jutsu that allows me to extract some of the poison from your body. During that time, I'm going to practice making the antidote and if you feel like you had enough of the poison before I finish, just say so and I'll give you the antidote. How does that sound?" {...lol wow. Sorry I took so long, got stuck with dinner duty.}

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | Genin"Alright, here goes."Giving Deil a quick nod to show she was ready as well, Misuki gripped his right arm with her left hand before slowly inserting the needle with the serum with her right hand. Once the serum was fully inserted, Misuki stepped back and placed the needle on a tray. 'All that's left is to wait.' {Don't worry about it. Oh, and I'm assuming its your right arm we're injecting it in, if its not, tell me and I'll edit. Sorry I need to leave for a bit again. [Good luck to your cousin! I hope he/she has a lot of fun!] "Deil took the poison without any trouble at the start. He continued to wiggle his fingers to check to see how the poison would affect him. Within a couple minutes, his fingers had slowed a good bit and his muscles began cramping. "I dink you kchoold shtart now." The poison had affected his speech, so he couldn't tell her very well. He decided that she should try to get what she could out of the jutsu before it got to the point where he needed an antidote. [I gotta go. maybe I'll get on tomorrow, but we'll see.]

Misuki SindoueSindoue clan | Suna | GeninMisuki leaned on the table as she looked over the details of the Dokunuki (Poison removal) jutsu while keeping an eye on Deil's condition. 'Alright, so I have to do the following handsigns...then this should happen...' Hearing Deil call out to her, Misuki quickly placed the scroll on the table and walked over to him. Noticing that the poison has already began affecting his speech, Misuki swiftly performed the required handsigns, Dokunuki no jutsu, she muttered under her breath right before her hands began glowing a pale crimson color. Placing both hands on Deil's arm, Misuki began concentrating on extracting out some of the poison.
A few seconds after placing her hands over Deil's right hand, sickly yellow colored poison began seeping out of the skin on his arm and after about a minutes or so, the poison stopped seeping out and Misuki assumed she reached her limit for this jutsu. Looking up at Deil, she gave him a smile, "You're doing really well so far, just give me a few minutes, I'll get started on the antidote but if you ever feel like taking it before I finish, just say so okay?" Misuki then brisked walked over to the other side of the table and began to deligently work on the antidote glancing at Deil every now and then to check on his condition.

Deil twitched in his seat as the poison was removed from his body, but noticed that the cramping and the numbness had gone down significantly. He decided that he would take his body as far as it would go, and nodded to her as she prepared the antidote. For the time being, his body pretty much stayed at where is was condition wise. Toward the end of the three minutes, however, he noticed that all of his limbs started falling asleep, like a half numbness caused by the low amount of poison. "When you are ready with the antidote, go ahead and use it. It would be wise to use it before it seeps too much inside the muscles and force you to use more of your chakra making a more difficult extraction."
