I prefer Thalia because she's the daughter of Zeus, for Zeus's SAKE!!! (lol) She can control lightning and she becomes a Hunter which is like the MOST AMAZING thing that can EVER happen to a person. I next prefer Nico... well... because he's Nico! He is soooooo sweet. His love for his sister is amazing. I really like Nico. And... actually, I prefer Nico and Percy equally. Percy makes me laugh. Nico is... opposite. I like them equally.

Nico is just awesome! I especially liked him in The Battle of Labyrinth. He's cooler when he's evilish.

Herm. My turn to speak, now?
Well, the gothic child of Hades certainly changes in the story, now does he? Unlike Hitler(another child of Hades, supposedly), Nico is more dark and secretive. Percy has no idea what is happening in his little devilish brain. He is smart, indeed, but ain't afraid of taking the larger risks for his family and friends. Nico, before was the sweet boy that liked Mythomagic(which he should have continued) and adored his sister even more. After his sister changed into a huntress, we all knew this was an uh-oh moment for the di Angelo family. His attitude sort of wavered, and that's why he asked for Percy to take care of her during the quest, or whatever. He told him to promise. That meant the ten-year old was very protective of his sister. When she died, and when he heard of it, it was more rage and surprise. He didn't know who to blame, so he blamed Percy. He found refuge in the Underworld, where he found the worst person to take care of him, one of the judges of the dead, Minos. Then he just became really gothic, much like his father. It was because of the advice he was given. Though in the last book, unlike his father, realized that the only reason why the gods hated him was because him and Persephone didn't really help the gods much. Just declared war. After the last book, Nico changed. He became independent, and strong. If the boy could have had black fire in is eyes, he would have.
Thalia is that girl we all have. Sort of like a bully, but more tomboy-ish. Completely different from Clarisse, she wears that boyish personality. In our lives, we all have a girl like her. She is tainted by her past, her terrible mother, but shows no sign of that. She's portrayed to be a strong leader type in the first book, when she is mentioned to fight off the monsters as Annabeth and Luke went through the border. She is very quirky, isn't she? She shows a very punk clothing, unlike the other huntresses. Thalia is a leader, and shows that much as the second in command of the hunters. She is known to be the one that will appear to save the day in the randomest times, and the time of most help. Like in the last book. She usually wears a smirk, and she is very fond of her friends. When you're reading the books, you so want her and Luke to get back together, but know deep inside that won't happen. You know she can break. It comes to a surprise to the reader when she becomes a huntress, but it is for the best. When I read it, "Oh shoot! Now Percy must be the guy of the prophecy!" Until I learned that Nico came into play. During her travels she was changed, for the best. She learned things that Percy that wouldn't be able to survive the war without. Like knowing those ice giants from Alberta!
While Percy, he just gets into your heart through the series. If it hadn't been first person, the whole book would be completely different. He's the one to through out the witty comment in the time of pure trouble. He's the one that beats all the types of animals the other heroes before him couldn't handle under the stress. But after the Third Book, he sort of blames things on himself. Like the death of Bianca. Like the death of Beckendorf. But, he's also the one that will have the answer, without being as smart as Annabeth. I find he is a tad bit stereotypical, a bit. I find he completely loathes Clarisse for the first three books, until Chris comes. Percy is the one that makes you laugh, and makes you think of better things. Riordan made him the boyfriend you always wanted. Sarcastic and a son of Poseidon. The ending of the last book sort of left you with some questions about the boy, but were not going to get to that.
Who else is impressed of that?
