English speaking people might have a tough time here, since everything is either in Finnish or Finnish and Swedish. That includes street names, opening hours, menus etc. biggrin Which reminds me, we use the 24 h clock, not the 12 h clock that Americans use. So things like "open between 7 - 21" might be confusing for some people.

Now I kind of don't want to visit Finland....I couldn't do anything! gonk
I'd have to make friends with some English speaking Finnish person there, I'm sure that couldn't be too hard, I make friends easily. ninja

I like using the 24 hour time thingy better, it makes more sense.

Hey, don't mock KFC or Burger King!

KFC has got the greatest chicken. Ever. Never been to a Taco Bell or Wendy's though. What are they like?

Taco Bell serves cheap tacos and burritos and stuff. They're ok, but Del Taco is pretty much the same thing only better.

Wendy's serves small and terrible tasting hamburgers. They have good milkshakes, though.

Have you ever eaten at a Chick-fil-A? I don't know if they are outside the USA, but having eaten at both KFC and Chick-fil-A, I can say that the latter is far better in my opinion.

If you couldn't tell, I eat too much fast food confused

Digi- My family, who came here from Soviet Ukraine, always uses milk for coffee. I always have, as well. I never understood cream at all. Even as a kid I pretty much thought, "WTF? Flavored, sweet milk, in little containers? This is stupid." Then I would order milk at the diner in addition to coffee, and use the milk for my coffee. People at the booths across from us probably wondered what we were doing.

We drink tea unsweetened, with no added stuff. Just pure tea, with the leaves swirling around at the bottom of the cup. Czar Nikolai black tea is win.

Speaking of milk in bags, they had apple juice in bags at my school cafeteria not too long ago. It was weird...

I don't drink crap like coffee. I drink milk as it is. =P Much more healthy. I think Finns use a lot of milk products anyway compared to many countries. Oh, and rye as well. I've yet to see rye bread or anything with rye in it outside Finland.

I don't like lamb and I don't plant on going to Ireland anytime soon... I've been to England, Wales and Scotland but never to Ireland. Odd. And we have plenty of potatoes here kthxplz. We prefer potatoes to weird things like rice or pasta.

Finnish cuisine

Check out mämmi. biggrin
Kalakukko literally translates to "Fishcock". surprised
And check out ruisleipä (rye bread) as well to see if it's the same as you have in America (I've never been there so I don't know what kind your rye bread is).
