Stuff you always seem to lose

The Game seems to be a common thread in here...

Can openers disappear into the black hole for me quite a bit. I've gone through three so far. Never find them again. sunglasses I always find as soon as I break down and buy another pair.
Sweatshirts with the name of my college on them. I've gone through two so far. Getting a new one for Christmas, a friend of mine is flying out here to visit and he's bringing me one. Hopefully I can keep track of this one.

i seemed to always lost my right shoes and socks. Also most of my drawings (i have alot of them).

Whatever I'm looking for at the moment I can never seem to find but the moment I give up the search and forget about it I find what I'm looking for.

Hair ties, DS stylus thingies, cell phone(Left it on the bus once and didn't get it back until the weekend was over), earings, gloves, my patience(That happens daily).
It annoys me because half of the time, I find things I lost in the most obvious places.

Earrings, hair ties, clothing, shoes, books, notebooks, pencils, places I put things to remember them, hairbrush, and a lot of other things that are usually orange in color and should not be losable.

I am really absentminded with a short attention span so I am easy to distract. The things is I well get distracted and sit whatever is in my hands down to go see the distraction. After the distraction has left I then have to start the process of finding the thing I lost and usually losing something else in the process. Not to mention that I a disorganized person as well.

Hair ties, which my cats steal from the drawers, keys, notebooks, pens, my shoes and sometimes my glasses.

The funny thing is I'm highly organized because I have to be, but neither my husband nor son is, and my son is famous for kicking my shoes about the house. I line them up neatly by the door, and suddenly they're under the couch. I think he wears them now and then-they're Birkenstocks and easy to slip on if you have to dash outside for something. My husband steals my pens constantly. The cats adore keys, and the little cat is wild over paper. I quit buying notebooks because I'd think I lost one again only to find it torn to shreds and hidden under a chair or in a kitty bed. Yeesh.
