He dropped the parsley mix in a plastic bag and then, thank goodness, dropped it in Theresa's chiller. He didn't look at Serandite. That was possibly another small relief. It was obvious that the tension in his shoulders and his hands was enough to make his muscles snap, but he wasn't angry yet -- just numb. It was strange to see their General-King numb. He was one of the least 'numb' people in the history of ever.
"That's the exact -- phrasing, Lieutenant?" he said.

Thank god. Serandite thought he might make her drink that awful thing. Although she was quite curious as to what he made it for? She watched his tensed shoulders with wary cautiousness, nodding as he asked.
"Yes. Exactly." She glanced uncertainly at Tisiphone, wondering why the "exact phrasing" mattered so. Hm. Perhaps there was an implication behind those words that only Charonite understood?

Theresa arched a brow when she caught her keeper glancing over at her yet again. She tried to give a squint that said, "What the heck do you want me to do? Kick him out?" Following the duo over to the kitchen, she watched the parsley become green mush in a blender (they had a blender?) and really hoped that was a paste rather than a drink. Then again, it might be amusing to see Serandite's face.. A quick glance at her partner with a neutral face, though the gleeful look in her eye was a bit harder to hide.
Mentally shrugging off her thoughts, Tisiphone tried to focus back on the topic. Kunzite, dangerous, check. Which really only made her more curious about the whole situation. Particularly that Charonite showed such a particular interest - and knowledge - on the subject. Oh sure he was acting dead panned about it, but if he was asking, then he was interested, which made her dead curious.
"Have any plans on keeping this Kunzite fellow from helping himself to any other Negaversian makeovers?" Theresa asked with her ever neutral tone of voice, since obviously being told to run away could only work for so long. And not everyone on their side was really in the running for making the track team.

"Yes," said the General-King, though it sounded curt. "I'll say this again at the meeting."
He was leaning back and staring at the chiller as though that would make the goop mixture colder (maybe Serandite was meant to eat it as icecream; she wasn't out of the woods yet) and he had folded arms, his mouth drawn in a tight, stressed, angry line. "You are never to go out alone for any. ********. Reason. When you leave, you both ******** leave in different directions. Be aware that he'll goddamn chase the one of you he thinks will be more useful to him -- so run into a public area. I will give you ******** rape whistles if I have to, and that's the most goddamned embarrassing, undignified, dishonourable thing to the Negaverse I've ever ******** considered." Rape whistles? They were also pretty funny.
"Tisiphone, he'll be after you."
This was to also be a fatal warning. Not to her.
"Never engage him again. I ******** meant it."

The look on Serandite's expression as she spied the gleeful look clearly indicated SHUT UP. The silent conversation ceased as the General-King directed his attention back towards the two females. He had certainly emphasized the point. Serandite would make sure to take his advice.
"OOH I WANT A BUNNY WHISTLE----" She hastily shut herself up, clasping both of her hands over her mouth. That came out instinctively, forgetting who she was talking to. (Rape whistles were pretty funny and useful, ok.)
The topic shift happened quickly, Serandite's worried thoughts as to what might happen to Tisiphone. Sure, Tisiphone was so much stronger but.. Kunzite was even stronger. She looked up jerkily, assuming the next warning was meant for her.
"Yes sir. Dying's not on my to-do list this year sir." She didn't have much to do. Not with these injuries. Hell, if she met Kunzite again, she would run far, very far, possibly until she met some penguins and polar bears.

Tisiphone had a hard time picturing the use of a whistle (a bunny whistle? the accusatory glance said to Serandite), much less any kind passerbys stopping to help out in the middle of a to-the-death duel via magical supernatural powers.
Still, the more Charonite emphasized the danger of the new character, the more solemn Theresa became. She was still curious as ever, but she wasn't one to be fool hardy. With a sigh, Theresa figured next on her training list was cross-city racing.
"Don't be alone, but split when together?" She arched a brow, then shrugged it off figuring that he meant to pick the best course of action. "This Kunzite fellow, is he not a senshi?" Tisiphone had no idea what else would have the power to stand up to the greatness of the Negaverse.

"No," said the General-King curtly. "Kunzite is a Cavalier. You'd think that after this long, Tisiphone, you'd notice that very few senshi are armed with <******** swords!" This was a little unfair, as she'd noticed a few senshi armed with other things. "Kunzite is a born ******** soldier. Kunzite will not hesitate. He'll torture you for information -- don't be fooled by the body -- and then he'll kill you: the mercy won't last."
He didn't say, 'He's as strong as I am.' He didn't need to.
"Serandite." His attention was on the small, wounded lieutenant now. "In ten minutes, take that stuff out the freezer and put it on your eyes -- Tisiphone, make her take it off when it gets painful. I'm not having you walking around with black eyes like a ******** beat-up housewife."
And with that, the General-King stalked out of the apartment.

What's wrong with that? Serandite shot a look back, a wave of dismissal as the whistles were dismissed. Darnit. But a bunny whistle was a good idea. Serandite should have one made.
As the General-King turned his attention towards hers, she looked upon his leaving back with a truly horrified expression. She had to put that gunk on?! What the hell would it do for her eyes? She could simply purchase a pair of sunglasses. How was it supposed to help? With the pain? With the bruising? She didn't know.
She sent a pleading look towards Tisiphone as the door closed behind Charonite. "Tisi.. You're not really gonna put that disgusting stuff on my eyes, are you?" She inched away from the girl, willing for that cooler to stay closed.
Honestly, she should have known better. The negaverse isn't known for their kind hearts after all.

Theresa stared at Serandite with a cool, blank look for a moment before finally speaking, "It's the doctor's orders." Her face was in stone, but her words were tinged with pure amusement. Her expressioned softened ever so slightly though when she turned to watch the green mush, "I think it'll help the swelling at least. You need to heal up quickly and go back to your energizer bunny self." She cast a glance to her keeper, "Would help out the Negaverse and all."
At that her face blossomed into a sweet, innocent smile as she scooped out a handful of green mush, "Now then, just hold still.."

Let it be known that Tisiphone was not one of the better nurses out there. In fact, Serandite could confidently state that she was probably one of the worst. "It's nice to know you think of me as an energizer bunny-- actually, that's an insult-- but I really dont think I'll be needing that----!"
At the very least, Serandite wasn't the only person that green goop had managed to get it's goopy traces on. She wasn't going down without a painful (purely on her part with all these injuries) fight. By the end of this activity, Serandite had come to one conclusion about Tisiphone.
Tisiphone was not the solemn girl she appeared to be half the time. Nope. No way. Serandite's next course of action when she got better?
Revenge.
