I think you should be able to speak your first language correctly. Indeed! And for people pronouncing s**t wrong... unless you work at Subway... you have no idea... I've heard chipotle called sooooooooo many different things. The most offensive being "Chippewa", as I am partly Native. Oh, and when the Chicken Pizziola came out.... it was funny watching people try to say it. I still get people that ask for "Football Meatlongs". Even had this one lady order her sandwich and say she wanted everything on there except hot peckers.

People can't pronounce Picante, Bruschetta, edamame, etc. Plus people get brand names wrong all the time, like this one brand of bologna called Deutschmacher. Which I was told pretty much means "German Brand" which makes sense seeing as how the key word is 'deutsch' which is the german word for german. @Vlad: "Football Meatlongs"? And I suppose they ask for jacked pepper cheese, tomatoed slices, and low-mayo fat to go with it?

One of my co-workers speaks German fairly fluently, he would of got a kick out of that. I dunno how it's spelled or pronounced for that matter, but he tells me how his dad used to inadvertently call him "my little boot licker" in German.

I was told Honey of the Ham used to be a brand name but I'll be damned. I've never heard of it until I started working where I work. I need a new job. Especially if I'm going to be building a recording studio soon.
