The wounds from Deathcord had reopened over her left shoulder. She possibly had a minor concussion. She'd just been forced to beat a senshi senseless.
Kunzite stared at Castor, though it was hard to name a point at which she'd not been staring at Castor, really. She wondered if this was some kind of ridiculous bluff, and she'd have to put him back on the ground once she let him up -- but honor dictated she do so, and so she raised her sword and stepped away from the Senshi of Hail.
But her patience, not well-known for its magnitude in the first place, had long since run out. She had her own ways of snapping. "Castor," she said through gritted teeth. "You're speaking to a man."

Once she had backed off, Castor was waisting no time in getting back onto his feet. Once there however, paired with her latest statement, made him stop whatever come on he was about to say, (probably a good thing). A few seconds of mouth agape, Castor blinked. Then he eyed Kunzite up and down, (and he did pause at two...places of male intrest). "....Well that's a real shitty lie babe." He wiped his nose, (for what had to be the fifth time), and smirked. "Nice tits, good legs, a feminine voice, no obvious package...no offense sexy non-negaverser, but you're looking pretty girly to me." In his arrogance, he held out a hand, "Unless you want to become a woman that is." He was so far from the truth, it was almost painful.

Kunzite was beginning to regret having used the flat of the blade. Then again, Kunzite had already begun to regret ever encountering Sailor Castor in the first place. And was well on the road to regretting getting out of bed at all this morning. She flexed her bloodied shoulder to test how bad the re-opening had gone: not too badly, though she'd have to clean it up and rebandage in the mirror tonight. Charlie wouldn't be pleased. Charlie would have to forgive her under the circumstances, she thought irritably.
"My name is Captain Kunzite," she said, somewhat weary of introducing herself. "Of His Highness Prince Endymion's Cavaliers. If you need a shorter word, it's 'knight.' You're in the Moon Court. I'm in the Earth Court. You're a stupid boy who doesn't know what he's doing. I'm a man reincarnated into this body. Reincarnated is a way of saying 'reborn.'"
She sighed. Much as it pained her to offer: "Let's get you home and cleaned up. I won't be having you lose a senshi to septicemia on account of your idiocy. Septicemia is a blood disease."

Castor stared at Kunzite. He stared for a good while. Then he looked at Kunzite's chest. Then at her groin. Then at her face. Then he finally spoke up. "You're not lying." Castor's epiphany was then met with horror as he understood what he had just done. "Then I...Oh god man, That's just nasty! You could have said something sooner!" He looked at himself like he'd gained some kind of skin condition. It made no sense, but he was still doing it. "Moon Court? Earth Court? Prince Enddymon? Like, the hell man! Uh, seriously? I have no idea what you're talking about. Ugh, I can believe I hit on a guy..in a hott chick body no less!" He was freaking out. He'd just acted very, very gay. And for Castor, this was very, very, bad.
"....." He gave Kunzite a curious look all of the sudden, stopping his 'I JUST ACCIDENTALLY GAYED' antics. "....." His face was close to a scowl. "....So...If you were a man....is it kind of cool having tits or no? And I am not going anywhere with you Kundyke." The whole -ite of the negaverse name thing make dyke jokes easy. That and the fact it was a man in a girl's body, (to which Castor was still disgusted with).

"Suit yourself." Kunzite snorted, which was neither soldierly nor disciplined, but she imagined it was a highly tolerable substitute for permanently ridding the poor world of its Castor problem. "Listen to me, Castor. You need to be more careful and cautious. I understand that you're young," tall words coming from a high school girl, but then again she was apparently a man, "but you're not young enough to be as much of a moron as you are, since your legs can support your body weight and you can form human speech. If I had been what you thought I was you would be dead. If I'd been less you would be dead. This is a disgusting excuse for soldiering. Charonite will slaughter every last one of you at this rate."
Having delivered this astonishingly presumptuous lecture, she went on, "I am incredibly reluctant to tell you that should you ever require my assistance, you have it. We have the same goal. You can tell the same to any senshi you know." Then, with an incredibly heavy heart: "I'll give you my phone number."

She...er..he...(it?), sounded like- "Oh, shut up. You sound like ******** Astraea. Lighten up." Rolling his shoulders, you could see that Castor was sore from Kunzite's attacks from the choppy movement. How he was planing on explaining this one to the Hillworth nurse, Castor wasn't sure. Maybe he should just stop at Destiny City ER. They saw him often enough as is. "And I'm not a moron. I'll admit I'm cocky and s**t but I'm not retarded." The fact he was arguing about it was pointing to the fact he kind of was a moron. "And I'll have you know I've almost killed negaversers before. Damn assholes have the habit of bringing in backup at the worst times." He left out the parts where he had to be saved by Astraea and almost been killed himself. Throwing those in and it didn't sound as impressive. "Charonite is a d**k."
Castor was not earning points tonight with intelligence.
At the prompt for a phone number Castor fished in his pockets for his tiny pen and notepad. It was becoming more and more often he had to pull it out. "I don't need back up Kunzite." He scribbled down his own number for her, (him? God this was weird). "I -WE, the senshi- need answers. Seriously. You think you're bitchy because we're as disorganized as ********? You're not the one who is told 'Hey, guess what? You're ******** magical. Have a pen that will turn you into a gay boyscout. Go fight evil.' From a talking cat." He shoved a slip of paper at what Castor was going to consider an it from now on, aka he shoved it a Kunzite. "I'm not a moron Kunzite. The negaverse is organized and informed. Us senshi? Not so much. It's pretty ******** obvious." It was perhaps an epiphany. Castor could use his head. The one not in his pants.

The prospect of interacting with Sailor Castor any further was not a pleasant one. None of what he'd just said had convinced Kunzite of anything but that he was rude and cocky in addition to being stupid -- somewhat unfairly, she concluded that he was completely lying about having almost killed Negaversers, as it completely escaped her how this could possibly be. At least he knew what bad of shape they were in. "I can provide answers," she half-muttered, half-said, because in truth she was in no mood to answer questions right now. But she had a duty to Sailor Castor, so she wrote her phone number down on the other half of the paper and tore it in half. "Here's my number."
She took Castor's, folded it up in her hands and then shifted out of her uniform, leaving her standing there in the cold again. Thank God she still had her bandages on. "My name's Miriam Jacobs. I go to Crystal Academy. I know you're not informed," she pocketed the paper, "I know you have no idea what you're doing," she slid her mittens back on, "but even for that, you're embarrassingly stupid. I advise you shape up, soldier." Miriam glared at him. "You do your Court a disservice. And that's difficult."

Snatching the paper up, he looked at the number before shoving it in his pocket. Hopefully, he didn't loose it. Moving to say something, (perhaps on how he was not a moron or some such), Castor closed his mouth as Kunzite changed into Miriam Jacobs. But then after her whole 'you are fail' speech, castor just couldn't hold it in. "For a guy reborn inside a teen girl's body, you really act like one."

Miriam heaved a sigh. "Go to the emergency room," she ordered. "Your pride will heal, but your nose isn't going to restructure itself. I can't say I apologize."
She picked her bookbag back up, slung it over her uninjured shoulder and straightened up again. "Do you have any kind of captain?"

"Oh, this? It's nothing compared to what I've gotten in the past." Still, a permanently skewed nose wasn't attractive, and Castor did enjoy being attractive. "Don't worry about it. I'll go and have them fix it ASAP. Besides...Kinda deserved it." He sniffled, some dried blood flaking off. The question of a captain only made Castor shrug. "Not really. I mean Astraea will sometimes show up a b***h, but, mostly, we senshi have been on out own." His shoulders slumped. "You make it sound like we should." With that, Castor powered down to Elzo. "I'm Elzo Xanis by the way...if it matters."

The kinda deserved it surprised her. It didn't seem like anything Elzo Xanis did was actually out of any kind of malice. And he didn't carry a grudge for very long. Pity he had some kind of bizarre Tourette's, but -- well -- Astraea had something to say about that, didn't she. Miriam found herself peering at Elzo a bit more in annoyed concern, but the truth was she really had no desire to see the senshi get themselves killed or nosebroken. Even the ones who might benefit from the lesson. She had another feeling that "the ones who might benefit from the lesson" would probably not actually benefit from the lesson at all.
"You should," she said in answer to his observation, and then: "A leader's the difference between an army and a mob, Elzo. Right now you're a mob."
She glanced at him. "You go to Hillworth?"

"But mobs can be fun." He grinned, trying to make light of what in reality, was a dark prospect-leaderless senshi. "After all mobs, get things done. If an a reckless, disorganized, and violent fashion...Kind of like, well, a mob." Kicking a pebble, he really was trying his best to ignore the nagging thought that it was a man in a girl's body. In other words, he was trying not to flirt with...it. "Oh, yeah, Hillworth. Negaverse Control Center. It's like their version of the Death Star, whatever. Already ran into Nealite there and got my a** handed to me. But, found out Atlas goes there too, so I'm not alone, (even if sneaking out is a b***h)." He looked up from his pebble kicking. "Why do you ask?"

Miriam wound one of her strands of hair around her finger -- what might've been a flirtatious gesture from some girls, but from her served as one of her few nervous tics. Like Inigo Montoya, she hated waiting. Unlike Inigo Montoya, she had to do a great deal of it, so she resolved this problem by studiously straightening things and refolding the cuffs of her sleeves to pass the time that was agonizing for her. A nasty, critical voice with which she was all too familiar told her that this was immature behavior and unsuited to a Captain of the Elysian Cavaliers, so she made an effort to be still.
"Just wondering," she said, mulling over the idea of Negaverse Control Center in her head. "-- ... Nealite? You mentioned Nealite. What was she doing there?"

"Hell if I know." Elzo rolled his eyes. "Maybe the b***h reporting back to her boss? I don't know." He motioned to her phone again. "Just like..ugh, call me." This was said with a mild look of disgust. "I am still freaked about the whole 'I am a man inside of a hott chick's body'. I bet you were gay and so god gave you what you wanted huh?" He took a step back, just to be safe.
"Listen, you want to know about some senshi right? I want to know about this whole...gig. We meet up for coffee sometime? Exchange info. I ask because I am seriously getting cold now." He mock shivered, (it was kind of funny in its utter failure).

"Her boss?" Miriam snorted, unladylike, and fairly ungentlemanlike at that. "Her boss? Elzo," she said, crossing her arms over her chest and bringing her stockinged knees closer together in the cold, "that's Queen Beryl of the Negaverse you're talking about. He answers to her."
She judiciously ignored what he had to say about hott chicks and sexual orientation, save for a sidelong glare and, "It's not as simple as that," because -- well, it wasn't. She wasn't about to give this feckless boy senshi an education on gender identity, mainly because she wasn't very well educated on the subject herself, but -- it wasn't. In truth, I'm a man had been a gross oversimplification, but it had stopped him hitting on her. Hopefully it would stop him hitting on her a little bit longer while he flailed in the throes of gay panic.
"That sounds like a plan," she said carefully, and held out her hand for him to shake: it was the sportsmanlike thing to do. And in case Elzo thought the lessons were done with, "You need manners. But more than that you need a better idea of what's going on here. How do you feel about Shufflepuck's?"
