Kenda looked thoughtful. "I don't think so. She hates it there....though she did go there once to get me some flowers..." she remembered the beautiful flowers, and the enthusiastic child handing them over. Kenda snapped out of her thoughts. "But I really don't think so"

 Paulie sidled up to Kenda. "What a nice guy huh? He seemed a bit more friendly than a lot of the other men who come in here" she said as she slid her latest payment into a purse under the table.

Kenda smiled "Yes. Not many people would ever go out looking for a teenager for me" she blushed slightly "Or compliment my orange juice" she picked up the glass and moved it where all the other dirty dishes were waiting to be washed.

Paulie laughed "Aw, Kenda, you're blushing." she straightened up. "Well, if anyone calls me, tell them I'm in my room. I need to get some sleep...you know, real sleep" she rolled her eyes before turning around and heading to her room

Kenda took the flowers Seth had given her and placed them in a vase of water. "Now, your orange juice" she said turning to Vortex. She handed him the drink. "Anything you'd like to eat?"
Seth jumped up on a stool and put her hand on her chin as she watched Kenda work.

Seth answered as Kenda went to the back. "Well, there's always a mercenary board...but if no one has any requests all the shops are always looking for extra help. And the stables of coarse. You could get some money mucking there. And I know some farms always like help." she finished off her milk, whipping off her lip. "But farms usually pay you in food or boarding."
