Chronos blinked, the only reaction that showed that she was surprised at her change into her senshi form; she hadn't even said anything to initiate it! She managed to give Aurelia a comforting smile, as if assuring her that it would be alright and they would have more allies (thank goodness) to help them get out of Barren Pines. However, her mind was still going Aurelia? Really? and Who are you?; the first stemming simply from confusion and the latter directed at the strange voice that came as it pleased.
Hero didn't sound too pleased about this, and Chronos only felt worst. Would this change make them prone to more arguments? She dismissed this thought and focused on Aurelia instead, eyelids shut.

Aurelia Thorne was not happy either. Feeling useless was far better than joining the ranks of the Senshi that she had just blasted moments before.
She tried to move back, tried to wrench her arm away from Chronos, muttering "Nonononononono," under her breath, fitfully, but Chronos seemed to have the strength of a badger and clung on as the white lights continued to intensify.
Aurelia felt herself changing and wished fervently that this was not happening-- especially at this moment. It was the worst moment possible and they all knew it.

The universe seemed to have a sense of humour; Aurelia Thorne, currently the annoyed secretary of one Hero Barrett, was now a Sailor Senshi. She finally wrenched her arm out of Chronos' grasp, hands smoothing down her pale blue skirt-- fuku?-- obsessively. She backed up, determined not to look at Miss Barrett. This was not happening. This couldn't happen it was too unkind.
"Serenade, I don't want this, I don't want this at all, please change me back, I just want to write melodramatic monologues and eat pop tarts, I'll even watch Andeon's head, just please I can't handle this."
Aurelia was wild eyed. Aurelia was wild eyed everywhere except Hero, and was cringing as if expecting to be hit.

Hero was off staring at a point in the wall. She was not looking at Aurelia and she wasn't looking at Chronos; Chronos could feel the voice in her head -- knew its distress, matching hers at the situation. The redhead continued to stare at the blank point on the wall where nothing was hung or leant against, her mouth a tight white line.
"Calm down," she said tersely. "Stop it. This is undignified of you. Calm. Yourself."
But she wasn't exactly calm herself; her fists now had white knuckles, and she suddenly wheeled off back to the bullet box to retrieve her gun, crouching down, finishing the reloading of the pistol that she never could really fire. Not looking at the sailor senshi at all, apparently unable to quite bring herself to.
I'm sorry. We're sorry.
The voice was unhappy, but calm for all its unhappiness. Everything happens for a reason, Princess.

Chronos drew back, looking a little unsure of herself. She had usually taken to hugging her zodiacs because she was so happy that they were back, but this was Aurelia, even though something told her that this was Capricorn. Chronos decided to settle for a smile and a pat on Aurelia's shoulder. Besides, it would be terribly awkward if she hugged Aurelia right in front of Hero. "I don't choose who will become a senshi, Capricorn." She said. The voice that comes and goes does. "Please, at least... we have another ally now." Even though Aurelia had already been an ally long ago, but she was a stronger ally now? Ugh. Chronos did not know how to phrase things properly.
Aren't I supposed to find all of them? What if people I've run into, people I've hit before are actually senshi? And who was we? Who was this voice? She didn't need to be any more confused than she already was; it was like she was blindly going about waiting for the voice to pop up and tell her to awaken someone into a senshi. Chronos was, for once, irritated by all this mystery, although she had tried to be as calm as she could on the outside.

"I'm sorry Serenade-- Princess Chronos," Aurelia curtsied elegantly, though briefly, "You couldn't possibly have any control over who we were, am I correct? I will protect you as I always have."
Words, unbidden. Curious.
The unspoken words were the white elephant in the room. Why, for gods sake, was Aurelia a Senshi, when Hero Barrett, who was already formidable, was not? It was unfair, it was not right, and when Aurelia had been complaining before it was not that she wished to gain any powers of her own. She had only hoped that Hero wouldn't run out with the Senshi. But she knew that there was even less of a chance of Hero staying behind with Aurelia as the last two humans in the group because now Hero was the single human in the group. And Aurelia knew that she was now a Senshi, and knew that wherever Chronos ran, she would follow.
Aurelia-- Sailor Capricorn-- finally looked over to Miss Barrett, letting her words hit her but decided to ignore them. She was acting undignified, but how was she supposed to act? Glad? Happy, that she was now somehow better than Miss Barrett? She couldn't fathom being able to do something better than Miss Barrett-- even her scheduling was not something that Hero couldn't do herself, it was merely that Aurelia took over that part to free up more time for Hero.
Aurelia was not touchy feel-y. She didn't really smile, not easily at least, and tears were foreign objects. She wanted to apologize to Hero, even part of her itched to at least touch her shoulder which was akin to a full on hug from Sailor Chronos but Aurelia knew that she would embarrass Miss Barrett terribly-- possibly even wound her already damaged ego more.
"I am calm now, Miss Barrett. Perhaps when the other girls return we should have a war meeting?"
It wouldn't do to bring anymore attention to the fact that she was still faintly glowing from her transformation.

No, it wouldn't have. But yet there it was; Aurelia was gently, faintly glowing, as though there was a halo in her skin glowing from underneath. Hero was already fumbling with the gun in her pocket, the slightly tatty Barren Pines trousers; she was grabbing a shabby overcoat, too, slipping her arms into it, already fussing with the door.
"I'm going out," she said shortly, and pulled the door shut behind her so that nobody could follow. It was utterly hypocritical, Hero "Don't Go Outside Without A Partner" Barrett, but she had crossed that line. There was no room to be gracious. There was no room to be even there, even with the outstretched hand of friendship of Miss Barrett. The doors echoed behind her, uncomfortably.
And the voice inside Serenade Soriano's head said:
It will be all right. You can bring them back. But then it said nothing.

Chronos smiled gratefully as Aurelia, no, Capricorn, snapped back into reason, heaving a sigh of relief that the other wasn't about to keep asking her to 'changer her back'. This was who Aurelia was, after all, like how Serenade was Chronos, although she couldn't explain it. Eyes flickered towards Hero, looking worried, then glancing away, as though embarrassed that Hero would see that she was being worried. Hero would not have liked to see that look.
She nodded, although the statement had been directed towards Hero; a plan would be good indeed. There were now four senshi... how many more were out there that they had to find? "Hero!" She started towards the door, then drew back, looking at Capricorn with a sort of grimace that said 'Oh dear, what are we going to do?'
The voice didn't help; it was as vague as ever.

Aurelia sank down to the ground, her head cradled in her hands. Still softly glowing. Still a Sailor Senshi.
"Do?" Aurelia said quietly, answering Chronos' possibly rhetorical question, "We can't do anything. Miss Barrett is... well. Miss Barrett. She'll come back."
Aurelia could only hope that she would return, though it was unfair to consider that she might not return-- this was Hero Barrett that we were talking about. True the Senshi could go after her, true, they probably should. But if they did? Miss Barrett would never forgive her.
And Miss Barrett would forgive her, gruffly, eventually if she let her be; things had become so complicated in such a short period of time.
"We might want to go recon for some bullets. I doubt her gun will have any left by the time she returns."
