Amarnata watched Aadi creep up on the sleeping Zebu, a target she wouldn't have dared to take on. She watched him with awe in her eyes as he went up and grabbed the small sleeping Zebu. Wasn't he a daring leopard was, it was amazing. When the child Zebu let out a shrilling yell, Amaranta's eyes widened.
When the male leopard told her to run she ran, she knew the adult Zebu that had only moments ago been sleeping would be hot on the tail of the two leopards who had stolen one of there young. She laughed as she galloped through the wood trees, they were close enough to the packs lands, if not in the lands, she wasn't really sure that she knew they were safe.
She reached a point that she knew they were safe in and slowed, the Zebu hadn't followed this close to the lands, she spun around to double check that they were safe the coast was clear. She panted as she came to a stop circling around again to come beside Aadi, "Nice catch!" she exclaimed.

His heart starting pounding with adrinaline. The rush of thought was gone and now he was just running but what dragged him behind with the weight of the young one. They were at his heels by then until he pushed against a tree and grabbed on to it. Quickly pushing against it to a climb until he was safe in the heights. His maw almost tired of holding the young for so long. Looking along the boarders he saw the purple blurr and went to jump tree to tree after her. Holding the child between his front arms to get a better grip on the branches as he jumped and after a while.. he could no longer see the Zebu behind him..
"Nice catch!"
He looked down at her with as much as a grin as he could show as he jumped down with a grace to him. Most leopards had it and his mother was kind enough to show him how to climb for events such as the one he expirenced just moments ago. A thud left an echo for a brief second as he felt the ground with the zebu in his maw- dropping it in front of her. She just had to give him a second to breath.. it took only that before looking at her- from looking at the ground. "Yea? You think so...? You saw all them? But thank the gods you ran when I told'ya. Would'da have been close!"
He was .. glad that she ran.. She followed orders- unless she did it on instinct. He sighed and went down on his side- Laying as he rolled over and looked up... and sure enough as soon as he did. His butterfly flew down and went on his nose. "Heh- you got scared didn'tcha." Sticking out his tounge. "OH DINNER!" He leaped up and went to go dig in- but realized. Female's go first. "Ah.. " His ears planted with a blush against his cheeks as he pushed the carcess to her. "Here." A light but embaressing smile.

Amaranta blushed lightly when the other leopard offered her first bite, even though she knew he was starving. "No no I am not hungry go ahead, you deserve it you were the one that did all the hard work." she found herself telling him, it was strange, she found herself acting in ways that she never thought she would.
"Aadi, do you have to leave here?" she asked him, her voice quiet and her eyes hopeful.

Aadi smiled brightly.. She was kind-. In some way as he pulled the dead child closer to him and started to naw and n** at the body. Stroking it as though making some connection that he didn't mean to 'kill' it but he was hungry.. A touching male for an age such as this one.
He was focused on the spirit of the animal going to the other side until she interrupted. 'Leave?' ..
His ears went up as he turned to her slurping a piece of meat in his mouth. "What do you mean? I have a home to go back to. My mother...? Why?" His dark pelt starting to disappear in the shadows.. It was becoming too night and time was wasting til he had to leave back to his mother, and once they reached the destination that his mother wanted... then she said that his life would start but why. His mother was all the life he had- where would he begin? "...I thought you said that this was private lands. A pride lives here right? I'm not welcomed.. Just was gunna eat and be on my way.." His eyes turned from eating to.. questionable. Almost even torn on what was going on.

Amaranta smiled, she was showing her week side. "I uh I don't think I want you to leave." It was strange for Amaranta to give a damn about what others were going to do, but this male made her feel different... strange.
"These are pride lands, but others are welcome to join." The male will have to join if her she would be able to have a relatioship with him at all, Amaranta would not stoop to the level her mother had and have offspring with a rouge. Her cubs would be the be all and end all no question about it. She eyes this male, for now she would look at him with an eye focused on what he could bring to her... as she was unable to understand the other feelings she was having.

"But... its not my world." His eyes looking very sad. He was still in love with twana in some depts of his heart and he gave that to her... He needed to find her again to show all that he felt... to finally get rid of what his mother worried about. Not that he was a sissy momma's boy but he knew that she needed him.. She wasn't the same mother.
"Not yet anyways.." He lapped another piece of meat in to his mouth before lifting himself up to find himself almost submerged in darkness. "....I'll come back.." He smiled.. his white but tainted in blood fangs.. shown across the darkness. It felt like something was there and it was different. He met a LOT of others. Lions.. to hybrids but now finding himself with another leopard. Even that- he was odd but.. he felt attracted to her... Destiny?
"How about.. that. Promise to come back.." Licking his maw so he could at least keep his look in front if her except black fur just absorbed everything. Slowly edging towards her.. she looked vulnerable- and it made him draw closer to her and nudge her cheek with his snout. "Come on.. " Nudging her more and letting himself purr in to her neck. That was another thing about him. How affectionate he was.

Amaranta nodded when the other cub promised to come back to her. She was young and knew it was strange to feel so strongly for another at this age, usually it was just about what the other might have to offer her, but with him it was different.
Not caring about her apperance for once in her life she let down all walls and tough exterior and as the male leopard approached her she actually bowed her head and nuzzled into his shoulder. "As long as you promise." she whispered in his ear. She couldn't believe what she was saying, her mother had always taught her never to count on another.... but here she was... putting everything on this other creature, all her hopes.
She lifted her head and looked at him her eyes damp with tears, "I have to go back, I will be missed soon." she said quietly. "I will wait for you though." she told him and nuzzled him softly again. She hoped that he wouldn't be gone for long and that he really would return.

Aadi nodded just slightly.. 'I will..' He chanted to himself in his head.. then only merely whispered it.. Without even a second thought he licked her cheek. Not fully and disgusting but just slightly. "Meet me where we first encountered each other.. I'll leave something there for you... every so often. Alright. So check often!"
A light smile.. this goodbye til next time was harder than he would imagen. Like if destiny were pulling him in her direction but he wouldn't budge.
Nudging in to her fur and getting a nose full of her scent.. His heart thumped.. and warmed up a bit. "Take this game~ and show it to your guardians.. They'll be pleased and won't get mad at-cha." His butterfly fluttering against his side to warn him.. Night was becoming morning and he needed to leave. Plus.. the butterfly knew when something was going to happen. It just knew. "Don't cry.. I'll be back.. it'll be our little secret.." Softly licking at her tears in which he'd remember always.
Then his butterfly smashed at his face enough to push him back...and that's when he heard light foot steps. "I'll come back Ama.." His ears perked.. as he whispered.. Nudging his face in to her cheek and softly licking at her. To only turn away and run off quickly and stealth, fully in to the night's shadows.
His butterfly taking refuge in his hair as he ran.. And as soon as he could see the big hill of land he jumped off.. dropping down on the nest of bushes..
'Amaranta' They name he will never forget.
