[Senshi don't have hitpoints on account of not being able to revert to zombie, so >: IDK that it matters? Gives me a good idea of how much damage he's doing, anyway. XD]
The golf club slammed into her arm--not hard enough to break, not anywhere near hard enough for that, but hard enough to give her a wicked bruise in the morning. Or in the next hour or so, she didn't know. She flinched and cried out, and only barely managed to hold onto her book long enough to strike back; she was aiming his head as she swung the encyclopedia.
"I'm so sorry," she said, dropping the book and bolting. She could grab Andeon's head and be out of there before Sue even figured out what happened... hopefully, anyway.

It was just lucky for Sue that it was just the corner that got him, because that book could have taken him down for he count if he'd been any less lucky. The boy reeled, taking a wild, fruitless swing more designed to hold back a lunging zombie than hit a fleeing girl.
Once the light faded from his eyes and the buzzing from his ears, he staggered straight - and saw Elke running. "Sorry? <******** YOU, sorry my a**!" he shouted after her. She wasn't going very fast -- he thought he could catch up with her, if he tried. But Sue wasn't going to; he was angry, not stupid. "Apologize to goddamned Piper! To Zeke!" he screeched after her instead, face red with anger.
Quick enough, though, she was far enough away that it didn't matter. Wincing, he dabbed at a slight cut on his head, feeling the blood. ********. He couldn't walk around with that smell on him. He grabbed for the fallen encyclopedia, flipping it open and ripping out a page to wipe off the blood with. Goddamned b***h....
Then, looking down at the encyclopedia, he paused. The page it was now open to read: "Defense in Depth." It only took a few seconds of perusal for Sue to become convinced that he would need to thank Elke later. This book would be invaluable.
He'd seen enough of this place, anyway. The cats could explore it better than he could. It was time to get back to base and share his findings - including the warning that some zombies might look like people, now.
