spearquest the true answer is yes, but the series won't be showing that. 4-kids banned 3 episodes from ever being aired. so you can imagine how many will get banned for eating something cute for kids. in the kanto season, areodactyl was about to eat ash and pikachu. even the pokedex said it was a meat eater.

Er, yes.
But, it's never really gotten into in depth.
A more interesting question is where do the humans in the pokemon universe get their meat dairy, and egg products?
Since there are extremely rarely shown any animals besides the pokemon.

What I want to do is find an English subbed version of Pokemon. Instead of all the English dubs. I don't mind the dubs, but I want to see the episodes unedited and still be able to know what they are saying. Sadly though... I am having no luck in my search. sweatdrop

Nadian `Trace Nah. That'd be cannibalism. Unless it's the other kind of "eat"... I've bred quite a few in Platinum. My ditto is a total whore... I think another question is do they ever eat meat in the series? If so, that's kind of upsetting, isn't it? I mean we've never seen any actual animals so wouldn't that leave us to assume that you'd either be a vegetarian or comfortable eating a sentient being? This is on the short list of things that I like to simply not think about, too hard.

I rarely watch it, anymore, though it does sometimes come on at the tail end of th ridiculous hours I keep. By the way, I hope you stop by the Disciples before the day is through. I'd normally not bring this here, but it is our third anniversary.
