Larissa took the sponge to Emmeline's face with gusto. After a good bit of scrubbing, she began to notice that the girl beneath the grime was, in fact, very cute indeed. It was a bit like watching the movie She's All That, where a girl who had been Pretty Cute, But With Glasses and Terrible Overalls, turned out to be Just As Cute As Expected In a Slinky Red Dress.
She could make something of this outcast girl, certainly -- but it would take some doing. It would be quite a project. She'd consider it.

"There now," she said after she'd finished, making an attempt to fix Emmeline's hair as best she could. "Doesn't that feel so much better?"

"Oh yes, it really does." Emmy turned her face to different angles in the mirror, in her mind almost imagining herself being a model. "Larissa, I really can't thank you enough. No one would have ever done this for me...heck no one probably would have even stopped to see if I was ok. Not that I wasn't, but I'm definitely better now."
She blushed a little bit, but it would be pretty hard to tell with her skin already being a reddish shade. "I guess...it'd be pretty hard for me to show how much I really appreciate this. I don't even know what could amount to that."

She let silence reign for a short while, unsure about what she could possibly say next. Emmy wasn't always the greatest at know what others were thinking. "Hopefully a hot chocolate will do as a start to the gratitude? I don't know what else I could really do at the moment."
