Math went by in a for what seemed like an forever to Adrian. He talked to Jack a couple of times but other than that he was pretty silent then the bell rang signaling time for next class. He waityed by the door for jack. " I don' t suppose you have history next " he asked smilling.

For Jack, math was the slowest class ever. She hated it as much as she hated people. Well, most people, with the exception of him and now, Adrian. She grinned at him as she neared the door. "I suppose I do. Lemme get my books first. You coming?" She adjusted her messenger bag a little. "Besides, looking from what we've had so far, I'm taking a wild guess that we might have all our classes together. Yay. At least now I know that they're going to be a least a bit more bearable."

Adrian held back a smile and a crazy jester considering Jack didn't seem like the person who liked a lot of attention so he just shrugged and Said " Sure lets get our stuff for history and English then we have lunch" Smiling then followed Jack back to their locker.

Jack gave Adrian the same faint smile as she opened her crappy locker and switched her books. She felt a question nagging at her at the back of her head, but she pushed it away and mentally shook her head. She didn't know the kid well enough to trust him that much. As she kicked the locker shut, she heard the faint playing of 'Down' by Jay Sean and laughed. "Sorry." She reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone, flipping it open at an unknown number.
'Hello?'
'Jack?! Is that really you?! God, I've been hunting forever for this number!!
Jack felt her heart skip a beat and her eyes widened.
'N-no way, Seth?!'

Adrian smiled faintly opened his locker pulled out his stuff then shut it. he stared off into the distance day dreaming then a phone rang then turned towards Jack who fliped out her cell phone. He waited for her as a young male voice was heard. He raised an eyebrow " Not to pry but who's seth" He asked

Jack ran a hand through her dark locks nervously. "Dude, can I call you back later?? I'm in the middle of school."
'Sure! Just, don't forget!
Jack smiled at the joking tone that her best friend used and hung up. "Um, Seth's an old friend." From that god forsaken place. She added in her mind, loathingly. "And I had no idea he even knew this number." Her eyes caught the clock on the wall and she started. "Oh gosh! We're gonna be late!" She grabbed Adrian's hand and started forwards but then stopped, eyes wide. "I forgot. I have no idea where that is......"

Adrian was bolted from his place he looked back at Jack and laphed when she forgot she was new. He took his hand back from Jack fixed his hair then stood in front of her. " Don't Worry Just follow me" He said smiling. Then in no time they where sitting in history bored out of thier minds.

Jack was litterally nodding off when, thankfully, the bell rang and she stood up gratefully. "English next?" She asked Adrian, while getting the feeling back in her legs and arms.

" Yes" he said jumping up and down. Then stoped looked at Jack " Also after english is Lunch. Best bell of the day" He smiled. They walked down the hall towards english when they ran into Dave The high school football running back. Who turned around swiftly. He looked Jack and adrian up and down. " Watch it f** " Adrian didn't jump in shock or even seemed a little bit angry he just shrugged it off but as he went to go around him. Dave pushed him back and he fell with a thud. " You guys aren't going any where" he smirked.

"Who're you calling f**, s**t head." Jack said back but flinched as Adrian was slammed back and fell to the ground. "Adrian!" She said, startled, and helped her friend up. "Watch it, moron." She said threatningly.

As Jack helped him up, he brushed the dirt of his pants and fixed his hair And stood beside Jack just sighing not again Adrian thought. Dave looked at Jack menacingly and smirked " What are you going to do girl, boy, or whatever you are" He snarled.

Jack's eyes flashed as her hands clenched into fists. "I guess rumors are true. Jocks really are that idiotic." She snarled. She had to keep her cool. She was going to keep her cool......But she heard the last part of his statement and snapped. She pounced, grabbing the front of the jock's shirt and punched. And kept on punching until she felt blood on her fist. "You come up to us, push my friend around, call him a f**, mistake me for a guy, and you ask me what I'm going to do about it?" She said in a low, dangerous voice, pulling back her fist, delivering one final blow to the jock's nose before getting up, blood dripping off her fist. "A**hole." She muttered.

At the fisrt sighn of blood Adrians mouth dropped open. He acted quick graped Jack and hauled her off down the hall leaving Dave on the floor weaping. He turned Jack around " Yo man calm down when someone say's something like that your sopose to let in go" He said sighing. " We are complete opposites " He said shaking his head side to side. He let out one long sigh then looked back up at Jack. " You have to meat my cousin " He said grinning foolishly

Jack grinned sheepishly, ignoring the fact that she still had blood on her hand. "Guess I went a bit overboard didn't I?" She tested her wrist, noting that she didn't sprain anything this time. "Your...Cousin??" She asked, curiously.

As they walked to their next class Adrian explained " Well my cousin i learned everything i know from him yeah he's a lot different from me. He's a hippie and everyone knows who he is" He smiled. Even threw English he talked. " Yeah he's a really cool guy you should meet him. We might see him during lunch he works as a teacher's helper." he explained but had to stop when the teacher told them to be quiet.
