"Oh, sorry! Yeah, that is pretty important." He leaned over to gently point at each individual squirrel. "The darkest one is the only girl, and the other two are boys. It's hard to tell them apart, the boys at least. But the slightly smaller one is actually the more active... when he's awake." To Yahya, they already had their own personalities, and were well deserving of names. And of course, Sue put a little damper on his mood. He glanced at the boy apologetically, as if saying that he was sorry for bothering him with his nonsense of naming things when they really should be keeping a better look out for Nibs.

"I am, but naming them doesn't usually hurt. I'm just worried that their parents died too soon... maybe they'll pick up what they need to learn through instinct, and if anything I know a few ways to help them out. I just thought... naming them would be nice." He didn't want Sue to be disapproving of him, really. He liked Sue, he liked being Sue's friend, and human friends were very valuable during times when they were in short supplies.

"But, umm, yeah, you probably don't know her. Maybe we'll hear her yowling at the sight of a stranger?" There was a slightly hopeful tone to his voice, as if he believed that would be the key to finding Nibs.
