The Doctor gave a little chuckle as he gave a little tug to pull the spawn to sitting in his lap then gave a push with his foot to roll them along, preferring to do things that would keep the other cheerful instead of letting him look at all sad. He would rather that Aludra be happier, the happier he was the less he'd have to worry about hurting his stomach again after all, "So, what do you plan to do now that you have your clean bill of health?"
Aludra squeaked softly when he was pulled into the doctor's lap, clinging to him as they were rolled across the room, feeling like the child he never really was - not that it was something that ever heavily weighed on his mind or anything, just a fact. The thought of 'I may be shorter than you, but this is crossing the line' slipped through his mind and he laughed a bit, enjoying this... 'visit to the doctor's office', or whatever the kids were calling it these days.
"I... don't really know. Poison my lungs instead?" he asked, chuckling softly. Looking toward the doctor he gave a soft smile, tail trying to push away from things to make them roll around more and failing. "What do most people do with a clean bill of health? More importantly, what do you believe I should do...?"
"Poison your lungs, eh? Sounds like something I'd probably join you in, being the terrible influence I am." He said with a laugh, looking rather plased with himself since Aludra seemed to be both relaxed as well as enjoying himself. The kid really did deserve to have fun, his two sides seemed to not want to allow it and the Doctor decided it was his job as a healer to help him with that. As such he was glad to see him happy, "What I believe you should do? Hrm, something fun and enjoyable I suppose. The more fun you have, the more relaxed you are the better you will feel. Endorphins and all that."
"You know, you'd be surprised," Aludra said, nodding a few times despite remaining latched onto Aden. "There are quite a few people who seem perfectly adamant to join me in such recreational activities."
Aludra mulled over that thought for a little bit, trying to come up with fun things to do before smiling abashedly and actually laughing at himself in a non-jeering fashion. "Honestly, I don't have many different activities that are the sorts to produce endorphins. Or are what most people would consider to be enjoyable at all, really..." he said, thinking for a moment before smirking softly. "Though that would give me an excuse to spend more time around you, if I'm not mistaken."
"Is that so? I don't think I would mind that. You could hang out all you like in the hospital wing, could even work here with me though..." He tilted his head to the side and looked thoughtful, "There is always the uniform that you would need to wear." He told him, giving a bit of a grin.
Aludra visibly perked up further at every word out of the doctor's mouth, before he looked the epitome of the kid in the candy store, tail flicking back and forth behind him like an excited puppy dog's would.
"Uniforms are fine, I can deal with uniforms," he said quickly and happily, generally excitedly to be able to spend more time around the older male at all. That meant less time around his house, less time around Lirona, more time learning things that were interesting and being with people -or at least a person- who fit the same description. "You're sure that I would be allowed to loiter around here? That I wouldn't be a bother to any of the other doctors or technicians?"
"Eh, this area is mine. I only call in the techs when there is a big job or a surgery, things I can't do on my own." He said then gave a happy sound as Aludra agreed to the uniform he'd mentioned, "I will see to getting a nice uniform for you in your size then." He said, grinning like Aludra had agreed to the most wonderful thing in the world. This was most excellent thing ever!
Aludra laughed softly, shaking his head agaisnt the older male's chest as he snuggled himself back against him, tail flicking back and forth down near the floor. Nuzzling against the doctor, even he was taken by surprise at the soft purring noise that erupted from his chest, and he frowned a bit, poking gently at his solarplexus before shaking his head and curling up against Aden once more. Spawn were weird. He was weird.
Normally, 'weird' would bother him, but for some reason it didn't. Just this once, weird felt alright if it somehow managed to gravitate Aden to him. Weird made up who he was, the good and the bad, as well as prettymuch all of his friends, from his little brother and his niece to Cody and Lirona and everyone else on the spectrum of everything. Even Aden, in his own way. Smiling softly to himself once again, he looked up at the doctor with a stereotypically schoolgirl sigh before raising his body up, back cracking a couple times, before he pressed his lips against Aden's, reveling in the niceness of the feeling as well as the feelings it inspired.

Aden gave a happy sort of sound as he received the kiss and slid his arms around him to hug him close before he returned to kisses that the spawn gave him in full and then some. He was sure that doing such things in the hospital ward might get him in trouble one day but for the moment he was enjoying himself, "Your a cute little thing, aren't Alulu." He said in a playful manner, giving him a little nickname as he snuggled him closer and nuzzled against his pretty, cotton candy hair.
Aludra mimicked said happy noises at the kisses that followed his initial one, clinging happily to the doctor and showing an utter disregard for the fact that they were currently in the hospital wing, tail swaying behind him. It was how lost he got in those kisses that left him playing with his purity ring once again when the kiss was broken, blushing slightly at the statement, giving Aden an accompanying pout for the nickname. "Everyone's entitled to their own opinion," he replied simply, not wanting to argue as he knew that never really did any good anyway. He nuzzled back against Aden, smiling still despite unwanted compliments. Geez, tell him a week ago and he would have never believed he could be so happy.
There was an amused chuckle from the doctor, "Yes, and I have mine." He said, lowering his head to steal another kiss or two onto his lips, "So long as you know what it is and trust it to be the truth." He gave him a smile before his hand stroked down along the spawn's back rather enjoying holding the boy close. It was a relaxing feeling, to have him in his arms and he leaned back into his chair comfortabley, "I will rather enjoy having you around when your able to stop by, not just because of this mind you."
"Perhaps I do, and perhaps not," was Aludra's simple reply, doing his best not to directly say that he didn't think he was cute; which he didn't. For some reason, even the idea of thinking himself appealing felt... odd. It was one thing to not be self-critical, but to be self-loving was something else entirely. He purred louder at the stroking of his back, kissing at what he could reach of the doctor's neck idly. "You're not the only who'll be enjoying that. It will be nice to be able to spend time around someone who's not younger than me. Or who lives with me," he added this last part with a slight laugh. The fact that he lived with Lira definitely made spending time with the transgirl less enjoyable.
"Yes, instead of hanging out with a younger crowd you get to spend your time with an old man like me." He said in a joking manner, giving a grin as he just enjoyed the way that they were sitting. He couldn't complain abou today, it had in fact turned out to be quite a good day he thought to himself. Given where he was though he was certain this were going to end up going awry just to even out his good day. He would have to be prepared for that... something he would do later.
"Of course!" Aludra said, nodding a few times, tail still flicking happily behind him. "The 'younger crowd' is more where my sister and Lira roam, not my grounds to tread. I'd worry about somehow being injured or catching some kind of... disease." He made a bit of a face at the thought of that, part of his heart going out to Lira in the hopes that she /didn't/ catch some kind of disease. Those thoughts quickly disappeared, though, as his mind went back to that ring and Aden's question about giving it to him. Sitting up a bit and adjusting himself to be straddling the man's lap on the chair, he pulled the ring off and held it up, a blush already raging on his partly-scaled face. "So if I did give this to you, what would your end of the bargain be...?" Because he really needed to ask to figure it out. Riiight.
Aden's lips turned up into a bit of a grin as he reached out to touch the ring that the other was holding out to him. He then lifted his gaze to lock it with that of the spawn who was sitting in his lap, "You really don't know?" He asked, before shrugging on shoulder as he leaned forward to press his lips to Aludra's ear to whisper to the boy the gist of what he'd be trading for the ring was. Best to keep such things quiet so that nobody chanced hearing if they were to walk by.
Aludra wasn't the best at faking innocence, but then again he was pretty innocent at this point in his life. That point was highlighted when his face lit up like a Christmas tree at what, exactly, Aden had so decided to whisper in his ear. The words made him bury his face in the crook of the elder male's neck, trying to will away the virgin blush that overwhelmed his face and he cleared his throat, trying to scrounge up any dignity he may have before he lifted his face again. Taking a deep breath, he took Aden's hand in one of his own shaking ones and placed the ring in its center, folding his fingers around it. "It's your's."
There was a bit of a smile from Aden, "If your sure." He murmured, hand holding onto the ring tightly, not want to lose it as he slid his arm around Aludra's middle and pushed up to his feet, "We should go to my room then, this isn't the place for such activities." Far to many people could pass by and interrupt them he thought to himself as he led the way. As they walked Aden kept one arm draped around Aludra, his hand fiddling with the silver ring which he'd shifted and slid onto his pinky finger deciding that he'd wear it himself, even if a purity ring didn't exactly suit him given his nature.
"I'm s-sure," Aludra stammered, feeling only like more of an idiot as a result of not being able to say the whole phrase properly, slipping off of Aden's lap. "That's fine," he said simply, trying to keep a stupidely-large smile crossing his face, but failing rather miserably as he kept his tri-coloured eyes on the floor, blush still lighting his face up to the tips of his ears. He played with the fingers of the hand wrapped around his shoulders, a little indignant with the dramatic height difference in the two of them, somehow bringing that to the top of his mind despite other things being so much more important. Hey, at least it made his face go back to normal.
The doctor couldn't help but to smile as he looked at the cute way that the boy was blushing and stammering, it just made him like Aludra that much more. He lowered his head to nuzzle against his cotton candy hair once more before he paused in front of the door that led to hi sroom. He reached into his pocket to get out his keys, he unlocked the door and pushed it open for the spawn to go in first, "Just keep in mind if you change your mind you need only tell me." He told him in an assuring manner.
Aludra smiled at the nuzzling from the doctor, trying to smooth his flaring, bothered nerves as they stopped in front of his room. The short boy's heart pounded at the notion of what was going to be happening beyond that door, a very small part of him feeling rather sad that Aden actually lived in this place, even if it were for short intervals. His tail flicked smoothly back-and-forth behind him and he stepped past Aden, standing in the room and turning to look back up at him, smiling softly. "I'll remember that. Thank you."
-----
There were two things that Aludra could make out of the haze of his mind, having just risen back into the conscious world. One was that he hurt in areas he never thought could hurt. Two was that he didn't mind it at all, and would go as far as saying that he liked it. He grumbled softly to himself, snuggling tighter against his bedmate and nuzzling gently against his neck, not wanting to leave, but knowing he had to, and if that was the case, he would want to at least say goodbye before doing so. "Adeeen..." he mumbled, poking at his cheek a bit, a good-natured smile on his face. "Wake uuup."
Aden opened one eye as he got poked at before he gave a sleepy sort of smile, lifting a hand to brush back Aludra's mussed up hair before he lifted up just enough to steal a kiss from him, then lounged again. He gave the clock a glance but decided that while he'd been away for a time nothing must have happened since nobody had come looking for him. He seemed pleased by that, "Evening, Alulu." He said in a playful manner, one hand lifting to play with a lock of his lover's hair.
Aludra giggled softly at the nickname rather than pouting at it, enjoying the warmth of the skin-on-skin contact, looking up toward where his hair was being twirled, the lot of it frayed out of its usual braid, the little hair tie lost somewhere in the previous... well, however long he'd been here. How long /had/ he been here? "Evening," he said softly, looking up at the clock as he did so. He was right, he should be getting home. After all, doctor's appointments weren't meant to extend long into the evening. He whined softly, burying his face against Aden's neck. "I don't wan'na leave."
Aden smiled, wrapping his arm around him and hugged him close, "No? I'd offer to let you stay but I am sure that people are looking for you." He said, hand stroking along the spawn's spine in a gentle manner before he pushed to sitting up with Aludra in his arms. He would rather he stay here instead of the two of them heading in different directions already but he was certain that people were liking wondering what happened to Aludra, after all he was supposed to come here only for a quickl check up and he'd already kept him to long.
Aludra grumbled, clinging tightly to Aden for the sake of being pulled up as well when he sat up. Whatever blankets had previously covered him fell away in the action, revealing a half-coloured tattoo that covered almost the entire left side of his back. A halo in the center with a [so far] flat-coloured olive-green wing going off one side of it. The other side of the halo illustration was wrapped in a ribbon that extended partway down his back, the two pieces of ribbon wrapped around two feathers each. The wing itself had feathers falling from it, and the final one rested horizontally right on the small of his back. He'd needed to go back to get it finished, but recently it had only reminded him that when he did get it finished, he was going to be relinquishing his prized possession into the hands of the enemy. For a worthy cause, but... still.
"People are stupid," he declared, particularly referring to the people who would be waiting for him or worrying about him or anything else relevant to him. "Particularly the people I have waiting for me," he added, just to clarify that it wasn't Aden who was stupid. He gave a slight smile in Aden's direction, stealing a kiss before sitting up independently and sliding off the side of the bed to start gathering up his clothing. "Though I am inclined to take you up on that offer in the future."
Aden lifted a hand to let his hands run lightly over the spawn tattoo and he traced the pattern for a moment before he watched him get up after stealing a kiss from him, "Heh, once you allow people to know where you are and where your going I would be more likely to let you stay much longer." He told him as he got up to his feet, stretching out all over before he went to fetch his cloths. As much as he didn't want to he needed to get back to work.
Aludra couldn't help the slight tremble at the touches to the still-sore skin, but it wasn't so painful that it really bothered him. Struggling a bit, he pulled on all of his clothes piece-by-piece, making sure that nothing was missing, including all of the smaller accessories he'd found himself possessing - he wasn't completely sure how the prayer beads he wore around his arm had fallen off, but he figured that it was related to their looseness. He laughed to himself at Aden's words, momentarily looking for his purity ring before remembering it was around one of the doctor's fingers now. "What do you mean? That near-daily doctor's appointments aren't normal?" he teased, but nodded anyway. "Don't worry. I haven't the slightest reason to tell falsehoods about my location. You're a trustworthy adult and all." He was starting to wonder why he was teasing now. Something in him was just much more happy all of a sudden, more lighthearted.
"Yes, I am a most trusthworthy sort of adult, aren't I?" He murmured, in fact he was more likely the worst sort of adult given he was the one that took advantage of someone younger then he was. He set to dressing himself, seeming to know well how to dress quickly since he was always on call. He stepped in closer to Aludra and lowered his head to press a kiss to his shoulder, "I know I am likely a bad sort of role model all things considered but I hope you enjoy our time together regardless."
Aludra adjusted his clothing to hang the way it did when he was wearing it instead of after hurriedly putting it on. When he felt the kiss and listened to the statement that followed, a part of him, the tiny, sheltered, self-centered part of him that was housed in the greed somewhere, got riled up by the negativity toward someone who Aludra held in sure high regard, himself. He turned and threw his arms around Aden's shoulders, lifting himself on tiptoe while pulling Aden down just a bit into what was a surprisingly romantic kiss for the situation where they were located. He pulled back to smile softly. "You may be a bad role model, but know that I'm not looking toward you for leadership or guardianship. And I can tell you that you have provided me with the best companionship I have ever known."
Aden gave a pleased sort of sound as the other pulled him down for a kiss and he felt the tension drawn from his body as Aludra spoke, his words were reassuring and made the man feel better about having his way with a cute little spawn, "I am glad to hear that, Alulu." He said with a little chuckle as he nuzzled against his cute, cotton candy hair again.
Aludra was content to nuzzle against his friend for a decent minute or so, and it was with a disappointed sigh that he stepped away from the other, a rueful sort of smile coming to his face. "I'm glad that you're glad, Aden," he said with a soft chuckle. "Unfortunately, I really must be going. I'll return as soon as I have a moment in which to do so," he said, returning to his tiptoes to steal one last kiss for the aftern- well, evening now. It was difficult to actually step away from the man, but he convinced himself to at the sight of the ring around his finger; as far as he was concerned, that ring marked Aden as his. "Goodbye, Aden," he said at the door with a gentle wave before starting back toward home.
