Ike was going to protest against Len's over protective stance, but decided against it. He stared into the shining blades, not feeling threatened by Len or whoever was lost.
Skelly carefully scooped the spider up and pet it carefully. Cute little thing...
"Sadako," he repeated and crossed his gangly legs.
Rabid looked toward Crow and nodded, not wanting Clematis to know of their conversation. She seemed blind.
Clematis inclined her head toward Rabid and blinked twice.
"Honey...Clematis..." she bent over to the zombie girl, against her better judgement, "Are you lost?" Stupid question...
Clematis shook her head slightly, more rivulets of strange tears streaming from her eyes. She reached up and placed her hand gently on the side of the woman's face, trying to get a feel of what she looked like. Her ears were round...
Rabid shuddered slightly and her eyes flickered to Clematis' malformed neck. It was bruised...and there was a ragged hole in the back. Adding that to the strange robes and mantle, she guessed that this girl had been...possibly...executed?
She peered up to Crow, giving her a kind of "what-the-Hell-do-we-do" look.

The spider clicked its mandibles as Skelly held it, hanging on to his hand for dear life. If spiders could talk, this one would most certainly be screaming,
"For the love of God, get me away from that creepy doll of EVIL!"
Sadako nodded eagerly, all pretense of keeping herself cool and collected forgotten.
"So." she said, sitting next to Skelly cheerfully, "What kind spirit are you? Vengeance? Death? Ghost of murdered child of evil?"
Lenore watched the bushes alertly, ready to spring into action at any second.
"I've got a really bad feeling, Bah. D'you think we should go see if they're okay?"
Crow stared at the glutinous blood that leaked from the unfortunate creature. Feeling a tad nauseous, she looked over at Rabid and returned her gaze with a "Why-the-hell-are-you-asking-me" look, shrugging and motioning at Clematis mutely.

Skelly tried to comfort the poor spider, sensing its fear.
"Murdered," he said and swivelled his hear toward Sadako, "Can't remember." It'd been quite some time since he'd had to think about the whole...who-he-was thing. It was quite strange.
Ike sighed and looked up at Len.
"Yuh...prolly should." He got down on all fours and slinked away from Len, then standing up and running toward Mummy, Miss Crow, and the random new person.
Rabid took a trembling, painful breath and carefully placed her hands on Clematis' shoulders.
"I think we should bring you to the infirmary, okay?"
Clematis cocked her head to one side, but slid her hand down the woman's face and onto her shoulder, the other soon following. She didn't know what an infirmary was, but it sounded like a good idea. Things couldn't get much worse...
"Mummy?! Who the heck is she?"

Sadako scooted a bit closer, toying with the flower in her hair.
"Lovely. Murdered, too," she said, pointing at herself with a stubby finger.
"Drowned," she added, fluttering her stiff eyelashes charmingly.
Clinging to Skelly, the spider looked at its former captor with its compound eyes despairingly.
Last time I leave the web to go to the bathroom, it thought to itself sullenly.
Giving a shriek of protest as Malachi went ahead of her, Lenore plunged into the bushes and ran after him. She skidded to a halt as she caught up to him, her feather rattling more violently than ever as she shared her mother's look of astonishment. Who the hell was that?!
The dead are walking, a voice whispered in the back of her mind.
Crow threw an arm back to keep Lenore away.
"Rabid, uh, giving her current condition...well, why not. Couldn't hurt."

Skelly chuckled softly and laid his hand on the ground, allowing the spider some freedom. Sadako was trying so hard, it was cute.
"Buried alive," he smiled slightly.
"Uh...this is Clematis, Ike...Len," Rabid smiled slightly and turned back to the little undead girl, "I'm going to pick you up."
She felt as if telling Clematis of her actions would help, if only slightly. She didn't like the idea of startling an apparently telekinetic zombie.
"Cle...Cluh...Clemmie," Ike sighed and looked up at the girl in the strange garb. She was kinda creepy, and smelled of death...
"Uh...I guess we'll...be going?" Rabid said as she lifted the girl into the air, still unsure of this whole thing.
Clematis clung tightly to the woman, burying her head in the woman's shirt and smearing her tears and blood into it. She reached to the side and, feeling some sort of necklace, clasped it carefully.

Following Rabid silently, Crow twisted the ring she wore on her index finger violently. Things like this rarely ended well...
"Okay... hello, Clematis." Lenore said meekly, trying to keep her razor feathers from rattling and spooking the poor thing. The more she looked at her, the more a feeling of pity welled up in her.
Taking Malachi's hand, she walked beside Crow, watching carefully to make sure the creature didn't decide it wanted to attack anyone.
Ignoring the group as they returned from the bushes, Sadako clapped her plushie hands together delightedly.
"Got so much in common! 'Dako drowned underground," she said, watching the spider try to creep away. Clearing her throat obviously, the spider halted and scuttled backwards towards Skelly. Nodding shortly, 'Dako glanced up as she caught sight of the new arrival.
"Hmm. Dead girl." she murmured, eyeing the girl with interest.

Rabid stopped at the entrance to the HQ and looked up. There had to be a way to smuggle Clematis in and not...ah! She shifted the little girl's weight twice as she pulled off her jacket and wrapped the zombie in it.
"You're free to join us, if you like," Rabid smiled slightly to Crow, wanting adult company in all of this.
Clematis let go of the necklace and curled into a little ball in the woman's arm. She felt comfortable, even as her damaged neck irked her.
Ike sighed as Len grabbed his hand, but clasped hers back. He walked slowly beside her, taking smaller steps than usual. Now that he looked, she was only a few inches taller than him. Hah.
Skelly nodded and picked the spider up, placing it in his jacket pocket.
"We should go see," he stood and offered a hand to Sadako.

The awkward feelings Clematis's appearance had temporarily buried flared up again. Looking away and twisting the ring even more violently, Crow gave an uncomfortable shrug.
"Sure. Why not."
Her gaze fell on the ornate necklace Clematis had released, the large opal shining in the early morning light. Deciding not to comment, she cracked her knuckles absently and took Lenore by the hand, leading her up to the HQ.
Lenore let Crow lead her around, her own hand still tight on Malachi's. She didn't like this, not one bit...
Giggling again and turning her head so that her curtain of shining black hair obscured everything but one eye, Sadako took Skelly's hand and rose with a flourish.
"Such a gentleman," she said, following him obligingly.

Rabid gave Crow a saddened look and shoved the L.T.J. into her shirt before taking her first step into the HQ.
"Thank you."
"Wait! Ike forgot...Skelly? SKELLY!"
Skelly smiled and waved at Malachi before taking a few quick steps and clinging to the side pocket of Rabid's shoulder bag, as it was quite close to the ground now. He offered his other hand to Sadako to try and pull her up.
"Not a smooth ride, but better than running."
Rabid rushed up to the Infirmary door and knocked lightly.
"C'mon, Jabir...please be there..."
She shifted Clematis' weight from one hip to the other. The huge blue Mishap made her quite nervous...

No, Jabir wasn't there. It was Maggie who opened the door. She was quite startled by the worried looks on their faces
"What has happened? Who is this?"

Lenore gave a snort as Skelly lifted Sadako up.
"Sheesh. That's somethin' you don't see every day..." she murmured to herself, grinning as Sadako held onto Skelly's lanky arm in the pretext of keeping her balance.
Sadako waved a silencing hand at Len, snuggling close to Skelly and adjusting the dead flower in her hair primly.
Crow glanced at Rabid absently.
"You wanna tell her, or should I?"

"Maggie!" Rabid sighed with relief and turned to Crow before turning back to maggie, "Hi. I'm not sure if you remember me...visiting the shop for months and such...but...uh...this is Clematis. We're pretty sure she's...uh...deceased..." She unwrapped Clematis and showed her to Maggie.
It was starting to make less and less sense as to why they had brought the girl there. What were they going to be able to do?
Clematis blinked and turned her head in the direction of the noise, blinking twice. There was another lady now? She tried to sort the voices out in her head.
Ike giggled and nodded to Len. Now Skelly was gonna make an even better friend!
If plushies could blush, Skelly would have done so upon Sadako's affectionate gesture. He smiled slightly and slung his arm around her shoulders.

"And now we don't know what to do with her," Crow added mildly.
"Can you help her at all?"
Lenore gave a worried sniff. She wouldn't mind it if Clematis was shooed right back outside - helpless or not, the girl gave her the creeps.
Sadako gave Skelly a charming smile, fluttering her eyelashes again.
"Does Skelly like his spider?" she asked sweetly, her hoarse voice making a bit of a mockery of her sweet words.
Nestling in Skelly's pocket in resignation, the spider clicked its mandibles again.
Good grief, I'm in a madhouse.

"Oh God! Put her on the bed quickly, while I go call out Jabir" she dashed to the door and disapeared down the corridor
A few minutes later Jabir entered the Infirmary, followed by Maggie a moment later
He gave a quick look at the girl and his heart sunk. "Oh no!" he thought to himself
"What happened to her? Where did you found her?"

Skelly nodded, "Of course."
Sadako was pretty cute...
Rabid placed Clematis up on he table and took a few steps back, crossing her arms protectively.
"I don't know what happened to her, but we found her on the outskirts of the forest. Must've walked here herself..."
Clematis inclined her head and waved in the general direction of the male voice.
