My parents actually read the first three books before me, and ,y brother was the one who got me into them. Now I'm reading the boooks aloud to my little sister. We're on HPB now. Of course, I'm by far the most obssessive, though my family has been known to go into lengthy discussions on the book. XD

XD You should listen to some of me and my friends conversations at the Lunch table. I swear people sitting near us learn more about HP in one sitting than I did, from when I read the first book up until I was through the third.

My brother says it's too long. Then I hit him, and we get into a huge argument. xd . My dad loves it though. Me too. He's gets facts wrong and I correct him alot about it. He just tells me to shut up and I do so. xd It's great, cuz I have these cousins who think it's anti-christ, I just yell at them and they give me bibles and look at me funny. Family Reunions are great with my family.

Spastic waffles My mom is mad at me becuase it's my fault (so she says) that my ten-year old sister is now reading Harry Potter. My sister, the brilliant one she is, started with Goblet of Fire. What? How is that bad? I'm 10. I started reading them when I was 6..... I still remember the night I got up crying because I thought Harry and Ron were going to get killed by the troll in the first book.... rofl But I think I didn't really understand them then. We had the second Harry Potter book and I just picked it up and read the first page. I asked Mum if it was a series and she bought the other books for me.

Well in my family I'm the obsessed one. But the first Harry Potter book was bought to my older brother one day when he was sick. He really liked it and got the second one. After that I kidnapped the books, maybe a year after or something. He still likes Harry Potter, but he tries to hold it secret. He sais something like "Harry Potter is soo bad/silly/geeky and so on. But I know he likes them. He hasn't read HBP (as far as I know). I remember when the fourth book came out. He just had to read it before me, but he said at the same time that he didn't like the books. xd Well, he read the book, but somehow I kidnapped the book from time to time and read for hours, and woops finished it before him. He had to read it before me because I was a slow reader. (I was not)
My mum like the books too. I've even got her to read them in english. She couldn't wait until the HBP came out on swedish so she read it in english, but she read the 1-5 in english too. Since she hadn't read them in a while.
Then we have my oldest brother. When I got the first in english he said he'd try to read them. He has always been against Harry Potter. Thinks it's childish and stuff...well he still does. He read the half first book.
We also have my dad who has read half of the first chapter. I still hanv't given up on him!

My mom used to read them aloud to me before I went to bed. We got through the first and second book, but oh my gosh. I swear that the stupid mountain trolls could have gone through the book faster ^^. By the end of the second book, I got tired of having to wake up my mom because she fell asleep in mid-sentence and read them on my own (About fifty bijjilion times faster XP)
None of my family actually likes Harry Potter. My brother is too stupid to comprehend any of the meanings of the book. My sister acts really young for her age. She's ten, and has the reading capacity of a five or six year old. She's improving, but we think that she has dyslexia. Dyslexia + 600-700 Page Harry Potter Book = ...you do the math. My mom has very little interest in Harry Potter, and she thinks that I'm too obsessed, and that it goes against everything that God stands for. My dad hasn't really expressed any feelings for HP, but I know that deep down he loathes it ^^. I'm a hardcore fan with nobody to talk with about HP, woe is me.

My mother's totally against it. She believes it warps our mines and causes us to want to do magic. My brother loves it but won't read the books so I usually tell him what's going to happen in the future movies before he see's it. He says he might actully cry when he sees book six's ending. I don't care what they all say. I LOVE HARRY POTTER BOOKS.
