Samwise Gamgee was my favorite from the books. Although technically a hobbit, he was the most "human" character to me. heart
My next favorite is Mithrandir. He was the glue that held the fellowship together. And hey, who doesn't love the hat?! whee

I really like the elves cause they're smart, sophisticated, and beautiful. But, i'd have to say, I liked Aragorn a lot in the movie.

I love all the creatures and races (except for ors,goblins and goblins), but the elves posess so many wonderful qualities. My gaia name is my elven name,by the way. MERRY CHRISTMAS MIDDLE EARTH!!!!!

Yucale Twilightfang this is hard... I guess Luthien would have to be my fav anyone who has read LoD, Drizzt is my fav character ever. Even though I like LotR more than LoD. Somebody mention me? lol Great series by the way, Salvatore is the greatest! I'd have to say I have quite a handful of favorites but I'll try to name them off: 1. The witch king of Angmar (obviously) 2. Tom Bombradil (or was it Bombadil?) 3. Gandalf 4. Saruman (DRACULA!!) 5. Sauron
