k i dont know how it's gonna end, but i hate to break it to you. this is the last season. Mark Harmon is retiring. he announced it awhile ago

Okay couple of things:

A: It wont end. EVER!!!!!!!!

B: If it were, which it wont, It would end like this

[Gibbs basement. After a really long hard case. Tony and Gibbs on stools drinking bourbon looking at a finsidhed boat.]

Tony: "Well Boss, I gotta say that was a LONG case...*giggles drukenly and continues to ramble as his voice fades out*

[close up on Gibbs face. He looks confused (and drunk razz ) The camera flips to the boat it zooms in and we see that its named Katelyn . The camera flips back to Tony]

Tony: "Boss? Boss!? Boss whats wrong?"
Gibbs: "How the Hell do I get this damned thing out of here DiNozzo?!"

[camera closes up on DiNozzo's face and freezes into grayscale]

END

Technically, it will come to an end but not anytime soon. It's number one in the US. And secondly, that was amazing! You should write the show!!!!

And to jennaluvschocolate who said MH is retiring, NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! It will not happen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's how I would do it:

A sort of Monk ending where everything sort of goes on as usual after the climax.

Important Detail: It's a full blown hurricane and D.C. is flooded.

The remains of Shannon and Kelly are dumped on Gibbs' doorstep. The team is doing an investigation on it without Vance knowing. A sort of Dead Man Walking thing happens to Gibbs' burbine and now they're trying to solve the mystery to save Gibbs' life. It works out that the man who did it was a friend of the Senator from Capitol Offense, giving Gibbs a painful death after putting he and his wife in the can.

Happy Ending Details:
Sometime during the episode McGee and Abby hook up. (I would say Tony and Ziva but after what I've seen of season 7, I'd say they're gonna be an item in season 7 finale or season 8 premiere)
Gibbs makes peace with his father
Vance dies twisted twisted twisted twisted twisted (don't know how to fit it in but it's gotta happen!!!!!!!!
Gibbs opens a large panel in his wall and sails his boat out of the basement.

Actually, me and a few of my friends were playing scenes from and iPOd, our version of Whose Line's scenes from a het, and bad childern's toys came up. That's what my friend said.

Second: Only one thing I would change about yopur ending Gibbs doesnt die, hes like Yoda...he just doesnt die, he just lesves for a little while. XD

We should send our endings to CBS!!! And they could only use them if they agreed to let us meet the cast! lol (i call Sean Murray! [i would say Michael Weatherly but he's married to some lady, i dont like her.])

The series would just end without any major storylines killing any more characters. It'd just...end. It's better to leave it up to the imaginations of the fans rather than create stories around what the characters do for the rest of their lives.

There is no way it could like that. Me, my dad, and my grandpa all like the show a lot and we will probably be upset if NCIS was over.

My dream ending would be something like this:
Gibbs:Retire
Tony: Admits he loves Ziva
McGee: Marries Abby
Abby: Marries McGee and has little baby people!
Ziva: Falls in love with Tony
Palmer: Died. (I really don't like Palmer)
Ducky: Becomes NCIS director
Vance: Died

i think that if it would end it would b lik this

1.nobody will die,retire or get sick,lik deathly sick(examlpe:Tony in "S.W.A.K.")
2.it would b one of those episodes where it was "in like a lion and,out like a lamb" (in other words) awesome begining,and quiet ending.
3(should N.C.I.S. end 4 real)i think there should b other shows about the characters after N.C.I.S. because it wouldnt b fair just 2 end and never come back(IF it should end.)

...and that is my opinion. 3nodding

I don't know, guys. A lot can be said in one season, and they were wrapping up a lot of stuff in the last season, so it wouldn't be too hard for them to wrap up the whole show next season.

I would like to just say J.A.G. (the show NCIS was an off shoot from) went for 10 years, so we have at least 4 more (at least this means it Could potenulay go on till the end of time.)

I am glad the series is back and even happier Vance put a certain report in a box in a room full of boxes like he was hiding it from the wrong people.Forgot to mention that I am going to be Abby Sciuto for Halloween but the tats on her arms. My mom cant do the spider web on her neck for me.

That's so cool! I was Abby last year. I actually made the skirt! And, I have natural really light brown hair, so I dyed it black the the aerosol (sp) hair dye. Note to self- NEVER dye hair if you wont be able to take a shower till the next morning. I was at my firends for a sleepover, and the next morning, all I can say is FAIL.
