Osoreru smiled at her first comment, still wondering if there was anything other than deer nearby. He did not smell anything other than it. He was rather unsure if he even wanted to hunt a bear or such, seeing as his last hunt with Aodh turned out to be awful. He blinked with the thought of his hunt with Tanoki and himself turning out to be that horrid and internally promised himself that it wouldn't be. He intended to keep that promise... Or so he hoped...
"Quite frankly, I do not. This area is rather new to me," he finally admitted with a sheepish smile. He shrugged, flicking his tail. "It would not hurt to go looking around; that's half the fun of the hunt, no?"

Looking around actually sounded like a good idea. It could turn out to be much more fun to search for prey rather than have someone else lay down her options for her. She was actually kind of glad Osoreru didn't know the area well. Tanoki hated feeling so new to the area and like an outcast. Not that she wanted to go around making friends with every fox she saw. It was just nice not to be the only one in an unfamiliar territory.
The female 'Daeva stretched her wings and smiled at her friend. "It is indeed half the fun. In which direction do you think we should start?" Hopefully this would be an interesting hunt. But if it turned out to be the same as other hunts, at least she could compete with someone to see who could kill a deer the fastest. That counted for something, right?
